Chapter 1: 3rd Chance At Life
“Hey God. Could you send me to a world with another magic system?”
“I can slightly influence the outcome of the world you end up in, but that’s really up to you.”
“Alright.” We waited in silence for a little while, because the world from before was still being destroyed.
“Now. Envision the world you want to create.”
I thought about a world that was very similar to the last world. Magic and all.
I heard god again, “Now, you’ve already heard this once, but this speech still contains valuable information about your new world,” God cleared his throat, “First, you will be born into a society that has been around on a planet called “Redal” (Pronounced, rey-dal), for 1000 years. Although, time hasn’t been kept very well, so the people don’t know this. They use generations as their calendars. Second, you will be born as a 8 year old boy, in the middle of the woods. You will have no name, and no family to guide you at the start. Third, magic exists on Redal. It is a system that will be most useful if you want to gain attention. Fourth, for your time in this new galaxy, your aging will follow a different process. From your time age 8-20, one normal year of aging will take 4 years. When you reach age 20, it will take 100 years for a one year aging process. Once you reach the age of 40, your aging will completely stop. Your aging will follow this process because you are invincible in this galaxy. You can actually give this invincibility to other people, if you perform the ritual. Finally, Good luck.”
“Wait. God.”
“Yes?”
“There was a person on Akafwhuwa who came from Earth. Will she be able to come to Redal?”

“Ah. Her. That woman is unable to come to Redal, as the transfer from Earth to Akafwhuwa took up all of her magical energy.”
“Okay. Buh bye.”
My spirit left my body. And I was in a new world.
I was an 8 year old boy. For some reason I started out younger than last time, but that doesn’t matter. Because I have to get out of the forest, and find somewhere to rest.
While I was better at restarting life than I was last time, I now had to carry the weight of Gowa’s betrayal on my shoulders.
Not only that, but the killing of everyone on Akafwhuwa.
I felt awful. I pulled the reconstruct button way too fast. I should have assessed the situation more. I could have prevented those deaths.
I screamed into the wilderness, looking for a home.
After hours of walking, I did find a home. But it wasn’t a village, but rather a city.
I looked at the city before me.
At least with an extra 500 years of existing, they found out how to make multiple floors.
I found someone willing to talk to me. They were friendly enough. So I talked a little bit, although I was being careful. I asked them about living in the village, and they told me to live in the village all you needed was approval from the Chief.
I headed towards where the Chief’s office supposedly was. It was oddly remote, away from the rest of the city.
I walked in the doors, which were made of a substance I had never seen before.
A new world means more adjusting.
“Excuse me! Could you approve me as a resident here?” I asked a woman behind the front desk of sorts. She looked confused, yet she still pointed me in the direction of the Chief’s office.

I walked in, and asked once again, “Excuse me, but could you approve me as a resident here?” The Chief looked reluctant to say yes, however it was as if his face told me,
“I have no right to deny you residency…” It seemed like he probably had a book of laws of sorts to follow, and the laws didn’t exempt small children from becoming residents by themselves.
“Alright. While I find it hard to approve of you, since you have no family or home it seems, you may stay here.”
So I left the building, proud of the fact that I got in. I left to go find someone to take me. Surely this world has some form of home for orphans.
