《My Pirate System》Chapter 3: Shiro's First Encounter With The Sea

The rain didn't stop though and the tornadoes or whirlpools just kept on growing bigger and stronger.
Many sea monsters that lived deep under the water also surfaced and it seemed as if all of them had gathered at that place while aiming to stop the whirlpools as they could kill all the sea lives.
.
.
.
"Tsk, how bothersome...", said someone while slashing and killing all those huge monster fishes and sharks in an instance.
"So pathetic... that's why I said not to abandon your power...", the man was standing on just a single wooden piece and was glaring at the sky.
"Sigh...", after sighing he drew his sword and swung it with a huge force as if he was slashing something.
For a few seconds, nothing seemed to happen but just after that, all the whirlpools that has been created got destroyed.
The Sky too cleared up and the moon shined brightly. Everywhere there was silence now and there were many broken parts of the ships lying everywhere.
The man found a small raft-like wood that was floating and jumped on it with his nimble feet and sat.
'I'm sure... now that you are dead... the power balance will change... I don't know what the north and the east Fools will do now...', after thinking this the man sighed and vanished immediately in a blink of an eye.
Since it was dark, the only that was visible all this time was his one eye which was glowing with a bright white light.
The entire area was now calm and the strong winds that were blowing past the continents too subsided.
On one such continent, where the winds were blowing the fastest and were the strongest – where the bolts of lightning had struck the most and where the most trees were set on fire – human life was preserved.

All of them were thankful and thought that this was possible due to the mercy of God.
They closed their eyes and prayed from their hearts. It was so quiet that it felt like there was no one on that huge land.
But amidst this silence, a cry broke out.
"Waaaa... waaaa...", a baby was born to a woman.
It was the same lady who had married the said person of the west, who disappeared just a moment ago.
"T-the child...", she seemed to barely have just an ounce of her consciousness as she had just given birth to a child.
"Congratulations... a boy...", it seemed like a nanny was present who said this while giving the baby in her hands.
Tears ran down her eyes the moment she laid her eyes on him.
He had bright red hair like his father and his eyes were bluish like his mother.
"You... your name... you will be called... Shiro...", the lady said this while suffering from pain.
She handed the baby to the nanny and closed her eyes and fainted.
The baby kept on crying all these times and for some reason, he wouldn't calm down at all.
No matter what the nanny did he wouldn't just be quiet.
"What's wrong with him...", while saying this she came out of the house since she thought that he might be feeling suffocated while staying inside.
But his crying didn't cease even now.
She tried her best but the result was still the same and while she was looking at him intensely in order to know if anything was hurting him, a man came running towards her.
"Kylle!", he shouted.
The nanny who was around 40-50 years old turned to her right only to see a young man with silvery-white hair running toward her.

He stopped just before colliding with her and took a look at the baby.
"This... he...", he was surprised to see him.
"Yes... he is Ria's and Shawn's baby...", she smiled and said.
"My sister's... son? I... I became an uncle! This is the happiest moment!", he shouted.
But thanks to his shout the baby started crying even more.
"Ah, look at what you did!", she said.
"I'm sorry! Just give him to me...", he asked since he too wanted to hold him.
"No, you are an idiot! You will drop him and make him cry even more!", she refused and walked a bit away from him but he kept chasing her until she was tired and finally agreed to give the baby to him.
She handed him out to Eric, that was the man who was just 21 years old.
"What's the baby's name?", he asked.
She smiled and said, "Shiro... that's what Ria named him."
"Aww... Shiro... how are you? Do you recognize your uncle?"
The crying just got even more intense and much louder.
"See!? I told you! Just give him back!", she asked.
He refused to do so and ran towards the seashore.
"Don't run! Be careful! You will drop him!", she shouted but because of the excitement, he could hardly hear what she told.
He ran as fast as he could and was now far enough from Kylle. He walked beside the seashore while thinking about how to calm him but then he found something that surprised him a lot.
Shiro had already calmed down and was looking quite keenly at something.
"Huh! This...", he wasn't sure how he calmed down but he was sure of one thing and that was that Shiro was watching the sea quite keenly.
The man too looked towards the sea and the broad horizon and then stared back at Shiro and said, "You... you want to go there? Do you want to rule the seas...?"
"Do you want to find the world's greatest treasure and defeat the Gods?", Eric kept questioning while knowing that the baby could understand nothing, but it was his pure excitement after seeing Shiro.
And that was how Shiro's first encounter with the sea happened. Though it was only visual, it was great and probably he could see something in the sea which was not visible to others.

~A Wattys and Fiction Award winner*A lion does not need an invitation from a lamb. That is not the way of the predator. Predators take what they want, when they want it, however they please. And this belief that I am, that evil is, enslaved by the dark night is humorous to say the least. Why would any creator make their pupil inept of withstanding the lighted world when this planet is covered in daylight for half of its life span? No, our Maker did not instill such restrictions for, up here on these earthly lands, we are the gods of prey. ~ Tristan There is only one rule vampires must follow--Bite Hard. The problem is when Tristan gets close to this human his blood turns to fire and the thirst that burns in his throat that should spell her doom twists until he's consumed by another need--one that is evocative, primitive, and...wrong.If Tristan doesn't figure out the mystery that is Kinley Shea Rylan, it is certain whatever dark force her honey blood is summoning forth will be the end of him and, possibly, the end of the world as we know it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Author note: - This is an original work with my take on Vampires.
