《Wilberforce》Chapter 63: Nusi's Past (2)

Both of the men exuded the power of ninety-nine years. The man standing in the front grabbed Nusi by the neck, pulled out a knife from his bag, and pointed it at her face. "I will write 'thief' on your face. So even if he feels sorry for you and doesn't kill you, my mark will recognize you as who you are, a thief."
Nusi was terrified. She kept trying to break free from his grip but couldn't. The man raised the knife and pointed its tip at her cheeks. "This will look good on you," he said, smirking.
However, it was at this point that everything in the area stopped moving as if time itself was stopped. The two men that sought to hurt her froze in place. The knives in their hands fell to the ground. Nusi, Ilias, and Spoon immediately lost consciousness. While the two men, along with their leader, Dan-Darbejia, bled through their mouths, eyes, and ears.
Whatever happened next, Nusi didn't know. And the next thing she remembered was waking up in a big house with lots of trees and the scent of those arrogant men who called themselves nobles.
Nusi, Ilias, and Spoon woke up in the most beautiful room they'd ever seen in their lives. Surrounding them was the food they had never seen before. Without a second thought, the three attacked the food. When they finished it, a fair maid came into the room. As she approached them, Nusi jumped up in fear. But the maid just smiled and then she asked them if they needed more.
The three of them stared at the maid in astonishment. "More food??"
Spoon answered hurriedly. "Gimme more, please, I'm still hungry. I haven't had my share of food ever since I was a child..."

The maid tried her best but couldn't hold back her laughter. As the maid laughed, Nusi too smiled. They weren't in a 'beheading house', she thought.
The maid clapped her hands and three other maids brought more food into the room. Nusi, Spoon, and Ilias descended upon the food again. They had been starving for so long. And a man would rather die from overeating than from starving. Even adults knew that. Besides, they weren't sure they would get more of this food in the future so they better use it wisely.
After they were done, the maid cleared her voice, which attracted their attention.
"If you're ready," she said. "Everything has been prepared for you to take a bath."
Spoon was the first to speak with his swollen face full of soup crumbs. "Bath?! Ilias, when was the last time you take a bath?"
Ilias glared at him. "What about you? Only Nusi bathed this week and I... did it last week."
The three glared at each other before they burst out laughing. Even in their dreams, they had never thought of having such an empire to themselves, and they certainly didn't intend to stop and think about it now.
It wasn't until the next day after waking up from sleep that they thought about it. All three were in a white nightgown. Ilias was the first to wake up, followed by Nusi.
The two looked at each other and then at Spoon. Ilias sighed. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Nusi nodded. They were thinking about the same thing. Who brought them there? What happened to the two men that wanted to kill them? Where were they even?
Soon they woke Spoon up, his sleepy face looking peaceful. Though he was soon reminded of the situation.

"But we aren't in a beheading house, right?" He asked.
All three looked terrified and soon they were curled up at the end of the bed. They whispered about escaping from the house.
Everyone was bringing suggestions about how to escape when they heard the door open. They were expecting to see the fair maid but they saw a man with long, red hair. His hair was far longer than that of many women in that day and age, and it was shining. He wore a black cloak with noble ornaments that were all too familiar.
Once inside, he looked for a place to sit, and then he smiled at them.
All three were confined to one corner, unable to breathe or speak.
The red-haired man sighed. "I'm prince Niyashi. I was the one who saved you from those people who were trying to harm you. And I am the one who brought you here."
"P...prince Niyashi? You... are prince Niyashi?" Ilias began to speak with terror in his eyes. If he was right, they were meeting one of the few people who were considered to be able to rule the world in the future. For there was only one man named prince Niyashi who had such red hair in the entire world.
"Are you prince Niyashi, the son of the jinzidal King Rafiyan Daljari?"
The red-haired man smiled, nodding.
Spoon pulled Ilias shirt in fear. "Who is he?"
Ilias ignored Spoon and continued, "what are you doing in Mikironomada? I'm sure the guards will identify you the moment they see you."
The young man took a deep breath and turned to look at Nusi who was silently staring at him, for she too seemed to recognize who this red-haired man was.
"I have been looking for you for a long time now, Nusi Djinn."

The story delves into the realm of believability instead of wish fulfilment, with a healthy dose of supernatural elements, so no, overpowered MC.
