《Wilberforce》Chapter 68: Miyura (2)

There were 10,000 children on the island receiving training. Suwainah and Zeera were just two of that number. Every child wanted nothing more than to awaken a better eye than their peers.
There were seven types of Ururu. The seventh type was the highest level of glory. Few of Ururu, from the beginning of the world to the present, had ever owned the seventh type. Three of them to be precise. One was the King of Ururu and also the Lord King who ousted Eyrion Wilberforce from the throne during the Amri coup, the other was the crown prince of Ururu, better known as Dumakisu Kuyúrussaayi Ururu, and the last man was the deputy of the Lord King, deputy Tadiyraini Ururu.
The sixth type was also a rare occurrence and there were few people known to have it. The ten kings leading the ten great Houses of Ururu, the kings commonly called ASHURA, for example, had it. There were a few others here and there who weren't as popular as them.
The fifth type was often referred to as the peak. Anyone who achieved it was seen as reaching the peak of Bending in the race. The fourth and third types were powerful enough to defeat a host of humans and demons. The second type was called the Young-Ururu. It gave the rank of captain in the first world. The first type was the weakest Ururu called initia. But even so, the initia could allow a single person to defeat a thousand, sometimes with ease.
Armad lurked on the island watching everything and learning the secrets of the demi-humans. It seemed he was only lacking a body but he could hear and speak. He secretly studied the island and the people on it for months. Fortunately, he didn't have to eat or drink, and because of his lack of material body, he could penetrate through walls and human bodies. He even discovered that he could enter the body of another human or an animal and even talk to that person without anyone knowing. Therefore, hiding wasn't so difficult.

After so long, Armad followed the little girl Suwainah into a forest where she devoted herself to learning the affairs of Bending the black.
The girl stood between two trees that were tall and thick with long branches as sharp and pointed like spears.
During these months, Armad had explored these children and discovered that Suwainah was the kind of person who would do anything to gain power. And then he chose her.
Her eyes were still white, a manifestation of pseudo Ururu, but her sword had already turned black. She vowed to be one of Ururu's most outstanding students and a future leader. Especially considering that for over five hundred years no one had been found to have the talent in their House, causing the House itself to lose its former glory. But Suwainah swore to revive her family's glory.
Her hand was straightened out, holding the long, black sword that looked too ominous to be a mere weapon. She closed her eyes and faced the west, standing still with one leg on the ground and one leg up, and pointed forward like a statue in a parade.
Ururu's spirit and pol surrounded her body. Even the trees were calm and silent, afraid to do anything that would disturb her.
In that state, Suwee continued to study the affairs of pol and the substantiality of the black eyes until dawn. When she opened her eyes, a black smoke carrying the power of Ururu appeared in her eyes for five seconds before disappearing and turning white again. She was getting close to transforming.
She walked to her belongings by the side and picked up a water jar. After resting for a few minutes, she picked her sword and played with it. She was so swift and movements were just fluid that Armad thought the sword had no weight at all, or it was an extension of her hand.

She continued to dance with the sword until the sun rose and then she made preparations to return to her campus to receive the morning training. It was then that Armad appeared in front of her. Suwainah reflexively slashed at his head. But Armad didn't move. He let the sword struck his neck and slipped through it as if he wasn't there. Armad smiled with a shake of his head.
"Your sword won't work on me."
Suwainah stepped back and called out for help. But then Armad disappeared and entered her body through her nostrils. She felt the urge to sneeze but she couldn't. She immediately decided to run to the campus and reporting everything to an elder, but then Armad spoke to her.
"You and I can help each other, little one. Help me, and I help you."
Suwainah gritted her teeth. "What can you help me with? I recognize you, aren't you the one who came with those four people a few months ago? Father has been looking for you."
Armad ignored her and continued, "I can give you the pol you need to awaken the greatest Ururu in history. I can show you if you don't believe me."
The same miyura that gave Armad the ability to increase his pol was on his forehead and he intended to use it properly. The other Armad lost that ability after losing it on the island.
At that moment, before Suwainah even agreed to anything, her pol soared and her strength grew significantly. Greed appeared in her eyes.

One piece of information created an especially great stir. The cultivators were there to pick disciples. Millions rushed to them, and Blair wanted to be one of them. There was just one problem. His lord father was strictly against interaction with those magical beings. He always dreaded a foreign power gaining influence in his court. Well, the old man never changes, and now it was the same as ever. His sister wasn´t even allowed to study abroad. However, all his senses told Blair that the future lay in the cultivator's hands. His plan was to gain knowledge, power, and maybe influence. Then he would return. One night he simply vanished in the darkness, away from his father’s claws. Will he succeed? That is hard to tell. The immortal world is an unforgiving place, even worse than earth. It’s just that Blair doesn’t know that yet. Can he survive there, and gain a footing in the new era of qi and godly hermits? Only time will tell, and Blair has to fight for every minute. Authors note: Give the story a try. It’s my personal blend of qi, cultivation, and struggles of morality and power. If I can deliver on all that is another question, but I will give it my best. As a further note, I am not using any of the usual strict realms and extreme power differences. It’s more about gathering and refining qi. Whoever uses his chances, sneak attacks, intuitions, and skills in a better way wins. However, having more or better qi will help, but I am not at a point where I have written a lot of that, so I might promise too much. Thanks for reading so far and checking my synopsis out, now you might give the story a try. Have fun. The picture is from JCK5D (Pixabay)
