《Tales of Balor》Paying the Piper

(Stella)
“Oh, Harlow.” I sighed, looking back at his home. I wasn’t a social butterfly, but even I got out more often. Then again, he hadn’t been out in years. If I looked at it objectively, him coming out with me at all was a good sign. Still, I would have liked it if he had said yes.
A strong pair of hands ran over my waist and caressed the flat of my stomach. I rolled my eyes. Time to pay the piper. Not that I was reluctant. After all, he was good-looking, and the rumors said he was good in the sack. His eagerness was a compliment and annoying at the same time. Like, wait till we get to my place. Duh! I will not fuck him out here in the open. A girl has to have standards and mine requires a bed and sheets.
I removed his hands and turned to place a warning finger on his chest. Jaxson held his arms up. “You’re going to have to wait till we get to my place.”
“I can wait. Just being friendly.” He assured me.
I snorted my skepticism. I continued walking, and he fell into step beside me. He made small talk as we walked. Asking what kind of music I liked, etc. To my surprise, we had a lot of interests in common. I can’t lie that was a bonus. I enjoyed having things in common with the men I slept with.
We flirted and gossiped till we reached my home. I unlocked the door and ushered us in. He whistled, taking in my little hole in the hill. “Very hobbittish.” He commented.
“That’s what I was going for. I remembered watching that old classic as a kid and said to myself ‘I want that for my home,’” I twirled around giggling. “Dreams come true.” I stopped twirling and looked back at Jaxson to see heat in his eyes. I recognized that look and it sent a bolt of electricity to my lady bits.
In less than a second, he’d crossed to me and picked me up effortlessly, like I was a feather. I clutched his shoulders as he turned us and sat down on the sofa, straddling his lap. My hands dug deep into the hot, bare skin under my fingertips. Then I trailed them up into those strands of hair and daringly licked the side of his neck.
A moan escaped me. He tasted so good. Male and earthy, with whiskey tones. I worried his earlobe with my tongue as I relaxed into his body, giving him all my weight. I dragged in a deep breath, heart hammering, and trailed the tip of my nose over the shell of his ear, then whispered a command. “Make me yours.” His reaction was incendiary. Jaxson fisted my hair and captured my lips. His tongue breached my mouth, claiming it. This was no gentle exploration. It was hot, wet, and carnal.

Jaxson groaned. His tongue stroked in them out, sliding over mine. I rose on my knees above him. His head followed, tilting back. I grew bolder, kissed him harder while I rubbed against him, dragging my core against his abdomen. Jaxson’s hands slid down my back, and goosebumps rose along my spine.
He pulled off my robe before continuing down into my panties. He cupped my plump behind and dug in his fingers, following my motions, guiding me as I rubbed wantonly against him. We kissed, wresting control from each other. A storm of sensations buffeted me. The rough cloth of his trousers against my sensitive thighs. The slick of his tongue inside my mouth. Heat radiated from his skin. The white satin friction against my constricted nipples. I ripped my mouth free, gasping for air. “Jaxson.” I felt weak, strong, and sexy all at the same time. I arched, leaning back into the hands cupping my ass, trusting him to hold me. Jaxson followed. He buried his face in my stomach and licked a centerline up my skin. As if drawn by a magnet, one hand left my ass and crept up to cup my naked breast. When he kneaded me, a keening sound escaped my lips.
I was suddenly at the edge.
“Lovely,” he muttered as he dragged a finger across my nipple. I jerked in his arms. His eyes flicked up to mine, then he did it again.
“Please,” I begged, and licked my lips.
“Please what?” His tone was teasing as he kept gently flicking and kneading.
I struggled to speak. Damn it! I don’t know how he was doing it. I didn’t want it to stop. “I need...harder.” His fingers gripped the pebbled tip and tweaked. My hips bucked. “Again.” His fingers clamped, pulling on my nipple. Firmly, almost painfully.
I wanted to scream. It was so good. So good and so utterly frustrating. Jaxson kept playing. Tweaking and pulling until my nipple was taut and rosy. Then, without warning, he plumped up my tit and closed his lips over the sensitive tip, suckling hard.
A breathy gasp of frustration and need tore from my mouth. Jaxson sucked my nipple like he was pulling milk from a straw. Maybe he was trying to? That thought aroused me. I ground myself harder and harder until I teetered on the edge.
Then he pulled away. I Nearly screamed in displeasure. His heavy gaze was on my tits, one tip red and puckered from his attention, the other pink and soft. I realized one was aching badly. Touch starved. Jaxson’s eyes met mine, and he abandoned my well-worked nipple, reached out, and gently grazed his nail down the soft surface of its neglected twin, catching on the peak.
Sensation ripped through me. Acute and devastating. My head fell back, waist-length hair pooling around Jaxson’s thighs as he clamped the new nipple, working it, working me. A scream ripped from me as I came hard. I was panting, almost sobbing, when it was over. Too soon. Much too soon. I was empty, my core clenching around nothingness.

“Bastard,” I breathed, then kissed him desperately. I’d never been played like that before. Not in my previous life and not when I arrived in BO. “Stella,” he whispered back between kisses. “That was so damn hot.”
“I need you inside, please.” I stammered, shocked at my own words. I’d never pleaded before. The bastard was making me beg. If I didn’t want it so much, I’d throttle him. Damn it all, this man made me desperate and greedy. I’d just come, but I felt like I was starving, and he showed me a five-course meal only to take it away. Yup. He had to die. But after. Yes, after.
Jaxson laid me down on the couch and pushed against my opening. He began softly, slowly increasing the pressure. He passed the entrance, opening me up. I gasped as Jaxson breached me, inch by slow inch. I whimpered, stretched to my limit, entranced at the sight of his erection disappearing inside my sheath. Until he was sheathed inside.
“So tight,” he muttered, voice guttural. I couldn’t help it. I was spread so wide, and he was so deep I was clenching around him. Hard. Jaxson moaned, pulled out, and slammed back in; all finesse went. He pulled my hips up to meet each relentless invasion. Thrust after thrust, he took me.
I moaned. My fingers dipped between our bodies to glide over Jaxson’s thickness each time he withdrew. He shuddered at the sensation.
“Fuck me harder.” I shuddered. The next time he pulled out, I scraped my nails on his flesh, slick with my juices. His reaction was immediate. He kicked off the trousers tangled around his ankles, taking his boots with them. He thrust in hard, then hooked his arms under my knees and stood up. I squeaked and wrapped my arms around his neck. “What are you…” The words were cut off on a moan as he gripped my ass and glided me up and down while holding me suspended. I was helpless. I could only hold tight. I couldn’t move, tangled up around him, as he worked me like a rag doll.
I tossed my head, red hair sliding across the muscular forearm that cradled my hips. Restless, Needy, desperate. I was so close, and so beautifully full this time.
I clenched around him as he pulled on my hair, tugging my head back and kissing me. I lost time as I slowly came down from the soaring heights he sent me to. The moment I came back to myself, I noticed he had laid us back on the sofa. Without warning, I kicked him off. He landed with a thud and a muffled curse, then he began laughing.
I stared down at him. “Why are you laughing?” I asked incredulously.
“I’ve been kicked out of bed before. But I’ve never been kicked off a sofa.” He wiped tears from his eyes and put his clothes back on.
I stared at him mouth ajar. “Did your mother drop you on your head?”
He grinned and nodded. “Yup. Three times actually.”
I covered my face with my hands, groaning. “I fucked the village idiot.”
Jaxson cackled. “You didn’t mind earlier.”
My face heated with all the force of the sun as I thought about my behavior. The things I said. The things he made me feel. I had wanted to test out my new staff. Now was the chance. I picked up the staff and aimed it at him. “By my command, focus, congeal, solidify, channel. Air Shot!” A condensed orb of air shot from the gem at the top of her staff and flew at Jaxson. With lightning reflexes, he summoned a large tower shield. He caught the Shot on the shield. The force of the attack sent him flying out the window, but other than that, the shield protected him.
“By my command, repair my target. Minor Repair.” The glass and window frame repaired itself. In moments, it looked good as new. I opened the front door and glared at Jaxson as he stood up. He was smirking at me. “I teased you too much.”
The cocky smirk infuriated me and turned me on all at the same time. I leveled my staff at him menacingly. He raised his hands, still smiling, and began backing away from me. “I’m going. Call me sometime. My price is the same.” He winked at me, then vanished. A moment of panic engulfed me till I realized he must have used his Return Home spell.
Why the hell was I worried about him? I Shook myself with disgust and walked back inside. I slammed my door shut and looked over to the sofa where we had just been. Heat suffused my body and once again I felt heat pool between my legs. I wanted him again. I shook my head. No. I would not be that woman. I’m not in some cheesy romance novel. ‘Technically, you’re inside a video game.’ A little voice at the back of my mind whispered. I huffed angrily and marched down the hall to the bathroom. A nice cold shower would help.
It didn't matter if I was in a game or anything. I would not be some needy woman, and I certainly would not fall for him. Hard pass!

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
