Chapter 11 A Potential Fahtier
[Boom!] “Woah!” Selene almost stumbled back on her plush bottom after an intimidating bodybuilding woman invaded her breathing space. Viv was her name. Her body was overrun with muscular substances. The domineering aura exuding from her gorilla complex could shrivel up the ball sack of many virile males. I doubt that there were many men out there who could sexually satisfy this hunk of woman.
[Thud! Thud!] Viv came closer to Selene which forced her to retreat her back against the tall tree present at her rear. Looking up to this bulky monster, Selene identified that her countenance wasn’t that scary. She was moderately good-looking, only her muscle mass was enough to scare many people away.
“Well, I asked you a question, little lady. Do you have the gift or not?”
“Gift? What are you talking about?” Selene’s voice was kind of muffled when she spoke. She didn’t want to offend this gorilla woman who could easily crush her entire body with a flick of her wrist.
“Erm?” Viv was disappointed by Selene’s weak answer. She screwed her face into a disgusted expression while glaring down at her prey. “You don’t know what I’m talking about?”
“Of course she wouldn’t, dummy. Get back.” Babe stepped forwards and dragged Viv away from Selene’s breathing space. “Don’t feel threatened by her, Selene. That’s Viv. She might look and act really tough but the truth is she has a heart soft as a bunny inside.”
“Hey, Babe! Watch what you are saying about me! Who are you calling soft?”
“Calm down, calm down.” The other two women who came along with Babe prevented Viv from running amok.
“Huh?” Selene glanced over Babe’s shoulder, looking at the angered giant who was moping about. “What gift was she talking about? I don’t understand. Babe, what is the real reason why you brought me here? You don’t honestly expect me to believe that you are Good Samaritan do you?”

Hearing how violently Selene sounded, Babe admitted: “You’re right, I didn’t rescue you on a whim. Truth be told I was at that restaurant to recruit you. I had no idea that the FPD would show up though. That was unexpected.”
“What? You were there to recruit me? How long have you been spying on me?” Selene wanted to get to the bottom of the truth.
“Our meeting wasn’t accidental.” Babe stated. “Our organisation have been keeping eyes on you ever since the onion incident that happened in middle school which surprisingly didn’t alert the ears of the vicious media.”
“What?” Selene’s heart jolted when she heard this. What Babe was referring to was a past event that Selene sequestered in the back of her mind because she didn’t want to remember.
A decade ago at a private middle school in Bay City, a violent incident took place which got swept underneath the rug. It all started when Selene was playing outside with her girlfriends at recess hour. The cute little brats had a weird game they usually play during that hour. It was called Dare-Dare Puppy.
The involving students would sit around in circles; spun a bottle in the middle. Whoever the bottle cork pointed to would be the person to receive the other kids’ dare, that person was the puppy. Once the contents of the dare have been proposed the other kids would vote on it to pass or not.
During a lunch break, Selene was unfortunate enough to become the puppy. Her classmate stole a whole onion from the cafeteria and dared her to eat it. At first, she wanted to refuse but these cute little brats had a punishment set in place for whoever pulled out on their dare. The next day when that loser came to school the entire student body would pick on them, jeered them, and mocked them, calling them all sorts of derogatory names. The loser would become the centre of torment for the student populous.

Selene had no choice but to comply with the kids’ request and completed her dare. She hesitated for a long while before taking a bite of the peeled onion. [Chomp!] She wanted to stop eating after one bite, however, the cute little brats coerced her to finish it. By the tight grimace on her face, they could clearly see that Selene was suffering from the horrible taste. Selene squinted her eyes in disgust and toughed through the devouring of the entire onion. [Chomp! Chomp! Chomp!]
“Woah!” The cute little brats were amazed by how fast Selene finished eating the entire onion. From that day onwards, she would become the champion of the Dare-Dare Puppy game they usually played at recess. However, during the children’s cheer of accomplishment, Selene felt an unsettled nature rousing in her tummy. She quickly excused herself from the crowd and ran into the nearest Pooper Module outside.
[Bubble! Bubble!] Selene spent half an hour relieving herself inside the Pooper Module. Recess was long over and classes had already begun. A teacher came to retrieve Selene from the Pooper Module so that she could head to class. Upon approaching the Pooper Module near the garden, the teacher heard strange noises inside. She rushed forwards in alarm and was about to knock the door when she felt a trembling vibration and heard a loud bang.
[Boom!] The door belonging to the Pooper Module Selene was in blew off suddenly and crashed directly into the alarmed teacher. Following closely behind the teacher who was flying far away with the severed door still pressed against her body, was a violent storm of poignant vapours laden with palpable onions.
Due to the majority of the children being in classes at that hour, they didn’t witness this mind-blowing spectacle, otherwise, Selene would have been the unpleasant talk of the town. Only the teacher who got mildly injured and few gardeners who were cutting the lawn witnessed what happened.
To keep this incident from reaching the ears of the FPD, Selene quickly notified her father who visited the school the same day and buried the issue deep underground by using his high connections and steep pockets.
Presently, Selene stared at Babe dumbfounded after finishing her memory trip to the past. “How did you people find out about that incident? My father should have prevented loose lips from spilling.”
“Fhm.” Babe smirked at Selene ridiculous expression and replied. “We have eyes and ears everywhere. That’s a known benefit of being a part of our organisation.”
‘Tsk, these people are troublesome.’ Selene didn’t want to affiliate herself with these rebels who had no respect for privacy and knew too much about her past. Now she wanted to create distance from them more than ever.

Journey of my Core
I have a hard time referring anything that I write to as 'Original'. The longer we as a species exist the harder it is to be truly original, I am certainly influenced by all that I read and watch Including but not limited to J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, and all of the stories here on Royal Road. From the start the MC is only able to comprehend the most basic of what is impacting it with very little to no understanding of the MC's surroundings. There may be updates in the future, but I am in no way a consistant writer. I will never claim to be the best artist, but I drew a representation for my story. Procrastination... Procrastination... Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
