《Kana Adventure》Chapter Eleven: New Information and Freedom!

Kana was suddenly awakened by a strange sound. She heard it again as she slowly opened her eyes. Her eyes widened when she found herself in a different room.
'Was I kidnapped?' she thought, bringing up her knife from underneath her pillow. 'This place looks familiar,' she thought.
"Finally, you woke up," a familiar voice told her.
“Max, why am I here, did I die again?” Kana asked sadly.
"No, child. You have not died. I brought you here to tell you a few things of importance," he stated seriously. "Other creators seemed to have interfered in the world I sent you to, most likely to capture you. They are the spacewalkers, and they need your soul to do vile experiments. I did not notice this until a short time ago," he said slowly with anger in his voice.
"Uh, so what is going to happen then?" Kana asked curiously.
"We will beat them at their own game! They caught me off guard because I was not expecting it, but now it is time for revenge!" Max said with hatred. "From now on, you have no time limit. You must train hard and destroy the spacewalkers. They will be important to increasing your power," Max declared.
"Really? Yay, now I can have more fun!" Kana said in joy.
"Yes, you can, but remember, others are hunting you, so be careful. I will give you a little help since they were scheming against you first," Max said, enjoying this. "It seems you have gained more soul power. Make a wish child, any wish you need," Max said to Kana slowly.
"Any wish, huh, then I want…" Kana sat there thinking. 'What do I want? Freedom, power, love? No, what I want is to see new things and live new lives.’

"You told me that after I'm done with this world, you would bring me to another one. Instead, I wish that I had the power to travel to any world I wanted to, and if I could start as a baby or a teenager, I would!" Kana stated clearly. It was a strange wish, but she always wanted to live different lives in different worlds.
"I can do that; I will also give you immunity to poison or disease since your wish was not that big," Max said. He pointed his hand toward her, and a strange light enveloped her body, after ten seconds, the light faded, and she felt strangely stronger.
"When you travel to a new world, time will be stopped on your current one. Of course, that is only because your current world is weak. A stronger world would have its time slowed or would have no effect at all," Max explained kindly before a light enveloped her again.
"See you later, child. I hope you grow faster, they are planning something, and I can't protect you forever," Max said silently, remembering something from millions of years ago.
"Ow, my head hurts!" Kana shouted out. "Gah, the pain!" she yelled before she sat on the floor and waited for it to go away.
"Kana, what happened? Why are you suddenly yelling out?" Kuko asked with concern.
"It is nothing," Kana replied, gritting her teeth through the pain.
"Are you going to be okay?"
"She is alright," a random voice said out of nowhere
"Don't be too overjoyed, girl. I am here because Max wanted me to help you since he can't always be there for you. Once the pain subsides, I'll tell you why I'm here. For now, stop screaming like a little bitch, you are hurting my ears," the voice said rudely.

‘How dare he call her a- ‘“Gah, it is back again!" she yelled out in pain.
Two hours later…
"I am fully recovered. Yay, no more pain. Thank you, whatever god there is!" Kana said joyously.
"Yeah, yeah, that is great, now time for introductions, though I would love to leave you if I have to keep seeing you squirm like the worm you are, “the rude voice said in her head
"You bastard! What did you call me? You wanna go, huh?" Kana said, finally snapping. "I am complaining to Max the next time I see him for sending me such an asshole!" Kana snarled out.
"Whatever, my name is Kopurete. Max sent me to give you information and help," Kopurete said displeased. "Now, you know Max gave you more powers, right? Well, I'm here to help you understand those powers," Kopurete said seriously.
Kana stood there listening intently to what was said, while Kuko was confused about what was going on.
"Now, whenever you kill a being, your soul power gets stronger. Now by itself, this soul power has little use, but if we use imagination and a little bit of creation power, we can turn that into something else that embodies you," Kopurete stated.
"I see," Kana told him.
"Looks like you are not dumb, after all," he snarled as her face twitched in anger. "I am also here to tell you how much soul power you have in case you want to know. You currently have twenty-seven,” Kopurete said to Kana.
"Huh? I thought I used it all when I asked for these extra powers from Max?" Kana asked, confused.
"You did not. Listen here, although soul power may not seem important, you must remember to have at least one in your body, or you will die, but don't worry, we will monitor them for you, "Kopurete said, making her understand that she was a little reckless, and those wishes did come with consequences.
"I see…" Kana said, finally understanding when Max said he couldn't give her full immortality. It was because she could have died if he attempted to do so.
"Max gave you a little of his own soul power for that wish, you know. Even creators need soul power to increase their powers further. That is why others want to capture you," Kopurete said, letting her know more important details.
"You are special, girl. Every other living being can only get soul power from either the faith of their believers or taking it from others. You are different because when you kill, you take one hundred percent of their soul power. Even creators cannot do this except one other person who disappeared years ago,” Kopurete told her.
"I see, I need to be careful then, well, at least I don't have a time limit anymore. Now I can truly have fun," Kana said with joy in her voice.
"Don't relax your guard, girl. Anything could happen in this world. Now I will be sleeping, wake me when you need any powers or other help," Kopurete said before his voice went silent.
"So, are you gonna explain anything?" Kuko asked after Kana appeared back in her room.
So, Kana spent the next few minutes explaining many things and getting Kuko off of her back, for now.
"Now then, off to the tent for our mission!" Kana said, bolting out of the door.

Raul The Reality-Reshaper
Raul Medrano had believed he was a normal human his entire life until the day he turned 21. The night before his 21st birthday he had a strange dream and acquired something dubbed a "system" that swore it would help him adjust to his status as a "higher being" and a "reality reshaper". And so began Raul's life as an immensely powerful adventurer who has and uses a variety of powers to change his world, and the grander omniverse for the better. This story features an overpowered protagonist who meets and faces off against other overpowered entities, but it begins with the protagonist in a small world where he swiftly becomes one of the big dogs so conflict, in the beginning, isn't going to be especially challenging. This story also mixes elements from my own distinct setting, the multiverse in which "A Solitary God" takes place, with elements from the settings created by people over on the NSFW CYOA (Choose your own adventure) subreddit, such as TroyxPage, and specific CYOAs such as "Goddess of Mankind" and "Love Azathoth" into one distinct, wholly original story. When relevant I'll post links to the CYOAs a chapter references in the author's notes section. Image credit: I got the image for the cover from Pixabay. This story was posted originally on ScribbleHub and will continue to be posted both there and elsewhere.

Only under certain circumstances (dire situation, family visiting so I don't have time to make anything, miserable day, etc.) will there be no new chapter. (I'm gonna be really busy with important stuff so don't expect any new chapters for 2 weeks)
