《Revival Factory & Other Novellas》Revival Factory (Ch.13)

Evening had already come to life. Kids had started returning to their homes. Boone spotted some of Ian's friends strolling. He knew the fat kid pretty well because he had come to his house several times just to watch little chicken.
He would often come for school projects. Boone did not know how the kid felt about him because every time he had come to his house, Boone had a knife with him.
"Kiddo!" Boone waved at him.
They walked towards him without feeling uncomfortable. None of them appeared sad by any means.
Don't kids have empathy? He asked himself.
When Boone began to talk about Ian then all of them burst into tears. Their smiles left their faces and everyone tasted tears. Boone felt something bubbling inside his stomach too.
It was not hunger but sorrow trying to reach his head. He walked away from there without uttering a word and went straight to his home.
There he, again, sat on the small paper with pen and paper but with the same confusion. He could not decide who deserved to be revived. In the mission of finding who was more saddened among two groups, he realized he was the one hit by it the most.
Over midnight, he kept on writing Stacy, crossed it and Ian, crossing it as well. He was clueless on how many paper sheets had gone in vain.
Boone ran out of ink in ball-pen. He tried to scratch some words with it but failed. At last, he went on to smash the pen into the wall. His eyes fell on the clock during the aggravation.
Hour hand was pointing at 27.
"Goddamn it!" Boone rose from his chair but it was too late.
Some souls had already appeared inside his house. They were some of those medieval ghosts who played a weird sport.

"Back off." Boone began pleading.
"You find souls scary? Very surprising indeed." A ghost came with a mockery.
"You're here to kill me, aren’t you?"
"And what do you think is stopping us from doing it?"
Boone couldn’t answer.
"Intention." Ghost said, "What you did has caused quite a ripple among us. Langer and Ivanov are worth forgetting now. I believe you are sentenced to be erased. But we also know how the rule works. We just had no business with revealing the rule."
"Woman in Blue is still after me?"
"Yes. Once you get hit by the axe's blade, you will be gone for good. But you don’t need to fear that scenario. She had sent us to find you. You know we are good at keeping our mouth sewed."
"What do you intend then?"
"Revive us."
A soul picked up a pencil and began scribbling names while the spokesperson kept on rambling, "If you don’t revive us tomorrow then you should be scared of us. We can be very nasty sometimes."
Every one of them dissolved in air when names were put down on paper sheet. The souls were done with their words and awaited Boone's actions.
Boone spent majority of the time left to dawn by writing those names individually on papers and putting them in separate envelopes. When he was done doing so, he was left with pile of letters.

Wizard's Tower
The humans call me Nemon Fargus. They call me wizard, and [Elementalist] and [Enchanter]. They call me teacher. They call me adventurer. But I don't care. Not anymore. For more than a hundred and fifty years I've served the Kingdom of Sena. Through four Kings and a Queen. Two wars and a rebellion. I've founded and taught at a magic school. I've fought against beast waves and dungeon breaks. But now? Now, the one close friend I had left has passed. So, I'm done with their politics and their economics. The short and busy lives of humans are more burden than benefit on the weary soul of this half-elf. Now, I'm looking for a refuge, a place that can well and truly be my own. Away from the growing cities and the bustling markets, away from the pointless wars, away from the eager students and the arrogant adventurers. It's too much. I'm seeking the peaceful life of a wizard in his tower, studying magic to advance my spellcraft. We'll see if that happens. *synopsis covers book 1 / ac 1 Author's housekeeping: This story is a rough draft. Surprisingly, in the fantasy LitRPG genre. A girls death forms the foundation for a plan centuries in the making. But when she shakes off their control, and forces the plans of beings millenia old to change, can she avoid being tied up as a loose end? With only what she could take with her in her mind, and a new body with surprising depths, she begins her new life in a world unlike her own. This is my first writing project in almost a decade, so there is going to be a lot of improvements from me as I shake off the rust. And of course, as the world I'm creating comes to life! So if you like the concept, please bear with me, and hopefully I'll reach the high standards I know you have. Edit (04/04/2018): Witness the power of my complete lack of any artistic talent! There is now cover art for this fiction. Its just barely better than the default, but hey, minimalism is in, right?

The Island Princess (Edmund Pevensie x Reader)
EDMUND X READER"Edmund, I... I like you" I confessed. Fiddling with my fingers. My eyes were looking at everything. Anything. Anything but him. "I just wanted to know how... how you feel... what you feel about... me. Us."It was silent for a few moments. I finally looked at him to find out why he was so quiet. The moment my eyes landed on his face, I was able to see his expression. He had the biggest smile and his cheeks were red. Like red red."Y/N," He said my name. That alone made me feel butterflies. He chuckled, "You really are clueless."Edmund stood up and took my hands. He stood me up gently. We were now standing in front of each other with the sunset behind us, hitting the right features. Our eyes were fixated on each other."This whole time," he said, "did you not even have one passing thought that I maybe have liked you too?"I blushed. Redder than cherries."I never got to think about it" I answered. "Why?""Because," he said as he cupped my chin gently, "I like you too."You, move into a new town in England and meet the four Pevensies. You accidentally enter an enchanting new world you've never been to.ALL CHARACTERS BELONG TO DISNEY. I DONT KNOW HOW THIS WORKS BUT THE CHARACTERS AND NARNIA BELONG TO DISNEY. THE STORY BELONG TO ME.
