It was around 11 PM when my phone rang inside bedroom. I was forced to awake just in order to answer the call even though I didn’t want to. Is it Joey? I asked myself as I turned on lights to see the number.
It wasn’t my son's number. I seemed to have forgotten him but someone else had remembered me. The call was straight from phone booth.
I picked the receiver, "Rick Tarot here."
"Good it's you. I'm Dormer." He gasped.
"Speak to someone else. Make new friends to speak to. Even if you want to speak to me, don’t call me in such time –" I was annoyed.
"Something's urgent. I'm coming to your house right now."
"Wait! Wait! You aren't" I was surprised with him in a sudden.
"Yes I am. I already am on the way."
Damn! "Why would you come here?" I yelled at him.
"This is nasty Tarot. This has gone nasty now. Someone sent me a letter inside my house and there was written that he had seen me bury the corpse. He says he will inform cops about it."
"Then what's the point in coming here? You want to hide or what?"
"He has named you in the letter as well. I cannot speak everything on phone. I must be there." His voice became more and more frightened.
It gave a jolt to my body. Sleep flew away out of the window.
Dormer resumed, "If I had met him in person then I could have convinced him but here is just a piece of paper with threat scribbled on it. I am coming there right now whether you want me to come or not."
"Come as fast as you can." I said and put the receiver back on dial pad. Then I went to my bed and sat with hands clutching my bald head and sweaty forehead.

I got up, removed night gown, dressed up in a casual way and began to wait for his newly made friend. I didn’t know what time it was going to be when Dormer would alive. I had no idea if he was coming by foot or had hired a cab.
Hire a cab, you son of a bitch. I cursed Dormer.
Half an hour later phone again rang.
"Dormer! Are you an idiot? Why didn’t you come here?" I raged at him.
"I'm sorry. Your new friend isn’t coming there now." He said.
"Why wouldn’t you come?" I questioned Dormer after remembering how much hurry he was in when he had called him half an hour ago. And now he was saying tat he didn’t need to come here anymore.
"Because he's dead." The answer came.

Adventures of the Goldthirst Company
Get the quest, kill the monsters, grab the loot, don't die. How hard can adventuring be? When the party is a fashionista wizard who'd rather stare at her reflection than dirty herself with actual combat, a thief that picks locks by ripping them apart, a paladin trying to do the right thing, and an archer that's better at talking to plants than people, then even a simple quest can prove a challenge. Hired for a variety of tasks, from retreiving the legendary Dragon's Veil to bodyguarding the wealthy, thwarting apocalyptic prophecies, or uncovering not-so-abandoned elven ruins, the problems in their way may well prove their undoing; lonesome medusas, sticky-fingered psychopomps, agressively passive golems and fearsomely violent geography stand in their way, as well as the minor issue of simply not actually trusting, or even liking, each other! Releases twice weekly, generally Tuesday and Friday (Art by Sin Soppitt)

Seeker Of The Ether
Synopsis in WIP (same for Tags). In this world there are people able to wield amazing power, they are called Arcanist. The path to becoming one is not an easy one and there is always a new step to reach. Our story starts in one of the Tower where Aspirants try to become Arcanists. It's the story of Nikolaï, his struggles, his hopes, his journey ... in a word his life. A small WARNING from Ben: English is not my native language. I'm pretty confident in my ability to read it and understand it but there is a big gap between that and being able to properly write. My grammar being already "not so great" in my own language it makes sense to not expect a flawless one in another one. I'm getting better at it and invite readers to suggest any changes on the matter but if it's a deal-breaker for you you should pass or come back at a later date.Possibly in the future, I will look for someone to help me but if you read those world it's not the case yet.
