“It goes without saying you’re a great fighter, a shockingly great fighter in fact” Navin says, “so how about we make a deal, I'll let the old man go and you come join my unit.”
As soon as these words left Navin's mouth Leo's face twisted in confusion and anger.
“Captain I don't think-” Leo was silenced once again with Navin’s raised hand.
“He was in the select fighter, was he not? He clearly has great potential and I want to fulfill that potential”
“Captain” Leo says “If he says who he is and he's technically a fugitive who attacking our soldiers, including your brother”
“My brother is a coward” Navin replied nonchalantly “If it weren't for my mother, I wouldn't even have bothered helping him out.”
“But captain” Leo says but was once again interrupted by Navin.
“But nothing, the only soldier that remembers the incident is my brother and he's an idiot. If I vouch for him in my brother's place then it's all done and solved.” Navin stated.
“Although I agree with you” Vita spoke up “There is still the matter of Sir Era”
This caught Akilah’s attention, ‘Era, did he just say Sir Era?’ she thought.
The captain sighed “True there’s that little twerp. He has always been a pain in my back. I don't know why the king favors him so much when he-”
This time Leo interrupted Navin “Captain I don't think you should be talking about these matters in front of a stranger” he said whilst looking at Akilah.
However, Akilah was not planning on letting this opportunity pass her by. She had finally gotten some information about Era and she was not planning on letting this be. She would even join the unit if that meant that she could extract her revenge. Although she knew it was foolish to get involved, she could not stop herself as her thirst for revenge outpowered her logical mind.

“Why would he be against it though?” she asked before quickly correcting herself “I mean except for the part about me beating up the soldiers, but you said you could resolve that, right?”
“Yes, that’s right that part I can resolve. But you see Sir Era is a noble. In fact he's one of the few nobles still in power since the previous king was defeated. He was of course permitted to live because he aided the king in defeating the previous King.” Navin said as he stood up from the chair.
“Of course, he only did that because it granted him a high ranking position within the new kingdom” Navin said under his breath while getting up.
Leo cleared his throat loudly in order to interrupt Navin’s tangent. Navin looked back at Leo, understanding his message “Ah yes, of course the point of this story. The point is that Sir Era still has the values of a noble, he does not like to associate with commoners or people he deems low class.”
“He is also in charge of recruiting every single one of the soldiers on the southern units” Leo interjected “And he selective with his picks” he said while looking at her with a look of disdain.
Although Leo hadn't fully finished his explanation, Akilah knew with this meant “So he won't allow me to join because I’m a commoner, is that what you're saying?”
“Gotta hand it to him, he's quick to catch on” Vito said.
“So what happens to my deal?” Akilah asked, not willing to let this chance slip past her.
“The deal is off, right captain” Leo said and looked at Navin.
However Navin seemed to be contemplating something, “How about this kid, a new deal” Navin said and looked at Akilah

“I let the old man go, but in 5 days Sir Era will be here to check up on the situation with my brother. Show him your abilities then, I’ll plan a fight for you.”
Leo was about to interject but Navin stopped him “If he approves of your abilities and enlists you then consider your crimes forgiven. If not, then you will stand trial for your crimes, deal?” Navin said and extended his hand towards her, waiting for a handshake to seal the deal.
Akilah looked at him with a smirk before shaking his hand “Deal”.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Bedrock 巖盤 Ganban
Not everyone is born equal. In a world where everyone is born with an ability, some people get the short end of the stick. Kazuki is one of these people. He is one of the few people born with an F class ability, an ability so weak he is powerless against any foe. So weak that he holds the title of bedrock, a title that literally means “at the bottom.” But sometime very soon he will discover his true abilities and become the strongest adventurer in the land. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New version at https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/27723/bedrock-ganban This is the official version again. The output for chapters should be amped up after AP exams are over. ~October 20: Edited previous chapters some and re-wrote chapter 17 as it was terrible and didn't deserved to be released.
