Adara was in furious state; rightfully so; she felt completely and utterly lied to and betrayed by Akilah, someone who she had put her whole trust into. This was a state in which Akilah had never seen Adara been in before. Akilah had always thought that an emotion like rage was something Adara was beyond, as she had never expressed it before no matter how dire their situation had been. However this only proved to Akilah how hurt Adara has been by her actions.
Adara wanted Akilah to give a detailed explanation as to what had been going on, how she got tangled in all of this and how she managed to be in two places at once. Akilah was hesitant finally gave in and told Adara everything regarding Era, captain Navin and the fight. Akilah told her that she had been able to do all of this using magic, from using a clone to occupy Adara’s attention to forcing Era into the duel. She had however left out the bloodbath part during her explanation because she felt that it would have worsened Adara’s already broken image of her.
Adara then confronted Akilah regarding the fact that she said that she wouldn't use magic outside of their home carelessly. Bringing up Rae and Etila’s situation months back and how Adara had practically forced her into helping. Adara wondered what could have been the reason for Akilah’s sudden change, she pushed and pushed Akilah for an answer until she eventually confessed.
After a great deal of hesitation Akilah told Adara the truth, she told her everything she had secretly been hiding away from Akilah, her plans, and ideas for the future but also her worries recording the connecting life threads.
Akilah explained how her motivations behind this fight was simple, revenge. She wanted to humiliate and embarrassment Era the same way he had humiliate and embarrassment Adara in their past life. Akilah had also planned on using this fight as an opportunity to get information from the king regarding Dogn.

Adara stayed silent after taking in everything that Akilah had just told her, after contemplating everything. Adara explained how she was mad about the fact that Akilah had hidden all of this away from her. Adara stated that she had a right to know these things, it wasn't just Akilah’s she was playing around with but was everybody, including Adara’s. Therefore she stated that she should have a say regarding her future.
Their conversation lasted a long time, in the end Akilah confessed to the truth and Adara got to se what she had been planning behind the scenes. When the sun had set and dusk settled over their house in the woods, they finally felt like that conversation had come to an end.
It had been decided that Adara accompanies Akilah when she meets that king, as she had not been able to do it after the fight, because her clone had notified her about Adara being missing. Akilah had reluctantly agreed to this plan, as she did not see the point in Adara accompanying her. But because she of her current predicament Adara was very adamant about accompanying her and Akilah wasn’t really in no place to argue against it. They had come to the agreement that Adara would come along but wait outside while Akilah had an audience with the king, since Adara would not be allowed in anyways.
The following morning Adara had been sure to wake up before Akilah, as she did not want her to sneak off without her. Akilah tried to plead with Adara one last time but she did not budge. Akilah signed deeply before preparing the portal for them, Adara was going to accompany her to see the king, she just hoped that the king wouldn’t see her.
