《A Fool's Wish》Chapter 7 Page 5 - Reconciliation

Akilah and Adara returned home, and as per that King's request they waited ideally by until they got called and by him. This had been the first time in a while for Akilah had just been at home since the expedition and once Akilah actually settled down and observed everything, she noticed that atmosphere between them had considerably changed. Akilah had noticed that Adara kept herself at distance now, this was something that Akilah had never witnessed Adara do, not even in the past life no matter how upset she was.
This really got Akilah thinking, did she really go through everything that she had in order for their friendship to be this cold and rigid. No that wouldn't do for Akilah. She decided to take advantage of the time they had together and spend some quality time with Adara. Adara was of course a bit caught off guard by Akilah’s sudden approach she welcomed it, and slowly but surely, they reconciled with each other.
However they decided that it was about time for them to sit down and have an actual talk about their feelings thoughts and ideas and to try to understand each other and explain their point of views.
Akilah started off explaining her actions and why shared chosen to keep it a secret from Adara, it wasn't supposed to hurt our Adara but instead protect her from the ugly truth. Akilah also explained that she got two caught up in her own plan and started spiraling more and more out of control, to the point where even she didn’t fully know the whole scope of the plan.
Adara stated that now in hindsight she understands Akilah’s actions and thought process and why Akilah might have thought that in order to protect Adara she needed to keep everything's secret. But Adara also expressed that she was deeply hurt by Akilah’s actions, especially since growing up together as close childhood friends and never kept secret from each other, so the fact that all this time Akilah had gone behind her back and not be truthful had really hurt her.

The conversation that Adara and Akilah had was a hard one, but also a much needed one, in order to be able to start repairing the cracks and friendship. However Akilah could see that there was still something that Adara was not telling her, she nudged her a bit on the topic and Adara eventually confessed. Adara explained that that day during Akilah’s fight she had snuck into a room and met a handsome stranger, and she had met him again before Akilah meeting with the king. Adara explained with a bit of awkwardness that she had developed slight crush on him, but she had tried to contain her feelings since she knew that it would be farfetched for them to be together realistically, since he seemed to be a high class individual while Adara was a simple commoner.
Akilah thought this out for a bit before she answered. She had in fact wanted Adara to meet someone and to fall in love with him so that she could escape from the kings clutches. And from the way that Adara had described this man he seemed to be some sort of combat specialist, Since there were a few combat specialists they had attended the meeting, this would also make sense as to why he had a private lounge to watch the fight. Either way class struggles or not, this man seemed to be a much better option for Adara, and Akilah intended for her to know that.
Therefore much to Adara’s surprise Akilah actually encouraged Adara’s romantic feelings towards this mystery man, Akilah even stated that she was now happy that Adara was going to accompany her to the banquet so that she could meet this man again. Although this was only a half truth since the other reason was to get Adara way from the public eye and the kings eye. Akilah was sure that Adara’s beauty would gather much attention. But if Adara were to just sit idly and wait for her mystery man and away from the public eye that would be a best case scenario for her.

Therefore Akilah told the Adara to wait for her mystery man at the bouquet, for he was sure to come and meet her, she encouraged this romantic union with much enthusiasm. However this decision was something that Akilah would come dreadfully regret in the future.

Getting reborn as an Orc
MC gets reborn as an orc. He is going to grow in strength, going to gather his followers build up his clan then crash, slaughter, and humiliate the humans, elves, dwarves, and such. This is a kingdom building story with litrpg elements. Litrpg works well when we talk about single character focused story. But in my story MC eventually going to lead his troops against other people. So I invented something called the tier system. It is similar to the grading system other game light story's use but with much more clear and understandable rules, also uses a very simplified stats system. When you hear someone's tier you could easily understand what to expect. MC is a crafty guy, he usually uses tricks and shady tactics instead of brute force to achieve his goals. He gets ailed with unsavory humans to reaching his aims. So MC going to have a lot of dealings with society's criminal underbelly. I warn you, my English is miserably bad. If you seeking a kingdom building story with a crafty villainous lead who outsmarts his enemies you are in the right place. If you seek something written by someone competent in English please pass this story and please just don't write a review.
