At the room

Luffy was bandaged all over his body. He just looks like a mummy but he was still asleep. After a long moment, he finally opened his eyes and looked around. He saw Zoro, Nami, and Usopp waiting for him to wake up.

"Hey guys, how long did I take to wake up?" Luffy sat on the bed and start talking with a big smile on his face.

Zoro and Usopp were silent, Nami walked near him and gave a slap on his head shouting out loud "Idiot if you could defeat him so easily then why fight so hard? If you really wanted to practice, can't you practice with the Usopp or the Zoro?"

"Sorry, sorry" Luffy was knocked out by single a strike; he puts his hand on his head and said sorry.

"Hey Captain, I know you are really in a hurry but there is no need to put yourself on risk. Nami is right. Though it would take a longer time than by fighting it would be rather safe." Zoro also supported Nami trying to convince Luffy.

These made Luffy silent for the moment and at this moment Usopp talk "Luffy, I may not have been long in this crew but I also support Nami and Zoro on this one. You need to think about your crew members too, you know."

"Time is too short" Luffy finally shouted gritting his teeth.

"Time,?" Zoro, Usopp, and Nami looked at the Luffy and didn't understand what he meant.

"Three Admirals, Seven Shichibukai, Four Emperors, we can't lack behind. If we got late then, someone will take it, I must become strong. If I don't defeat them, then I can't become Pirate King" Luffy shouted, making the whole room silent for a moment.

Zoro reached near Luffy and poked his Luffy's head with his sword saying "What do you mean by 'I'? It should be we; if we can't become strong then you can't become the Pirate King on your own. You don't even have proper navigation skills nor are you a swordsman? You can't even lie, so how can you become Pirate King on your own?"

Not to mention Luffy, even Usopp and Nami were speechless. Luffy was speechless because this was the same sentence he gave to Arlong. As for Nami and Usopp, they were speechless because Zoro could use such convincing words. In their mind, Zoro's image was like Sword Idiot.

"Puff, haha, you are right. I can't become Pirate King on my own" Luffy out loud in front of them then he continued "So we all have to get stronger"

"Luffy, how can you let you navigator fight?" Nami made puppy eyes begging Luffy to not let her fight any enemy.

"Because we won't recruit any more than ten members excluding me, so you need to get stronger" Luffy pointed his finger and Nami and said

"But,?" Nami didn't give up still trying to convince him, as if she really thought herself as Luffy's crew this time.

"Don't worry, it's not like you have to face a strong enemy. You just need to clear that extra baggage for us" Luffy smile and patted her shoulder.

"I'm so dead" Nami squats on the ground, crying.

"Don't worry Nami, I'll make a better weapon for you" Usopp clicked his tongue and tried to comfort her.

"Really,?" Nami asked in disbelieve then once again changed her tone saying "You are lying"

"No, I forget to tell you. I have fifty years' experience in making weapon" Usopp patted his own chest with a proud expression, trying to get a strong impression on himself.

"Wow!" Luffy shouted excitedly then asked "Usopp, why can't I see your grandchildren?"

"Puchi! Haha, Haha" Zoro and Nami laughed when they heard Luffy making fun of Usopp

"Hey," Usopp slapped air to announce his innocence.

"Well, I know you have great skill in making weapons. But you need to upgrade yours too, you know. Unlike your father, you use a slingshot which makes decreases offense. But if you can improve your bullet like instead of using normal marvels, if you use marvel with spikes on it. As for other attacks, you need to figure it out yourself" Luffy explained while taking and examining his slingshot.

"Yes" Usopp nodded his head

"By the way Luffy, we got ourselves a ship from Kaya," Zoro said while indicating to leave this place

"Really, then we need thank Kaya for that." Luffy starts taking out his bandages and being comfortable. Then he looked at Usopp and said "Get ready, say goodbye to Kaya and meet us at the same place when we arrive here" Saying so, he turned away and leave with Nami and Zoro.

Usopp also started packing his stuff. Then he walks toward the Kaya mansion.

"Usopp" Before even he reached the gate, he heard Kaya voice from the side

"Kaya, you are out" Usopp didn't expect to see Kaya out

"Shh" Kaya signaled him to shut up and caught his hand. Then he started running towards the north.

"Hey Kaya" Usopp was confused about Kaya's actions.

"You are going out, right?" Only after they reached seashore little far away from Luffy's ship, Kaya asked

"Yes, I am going on an adventure with Luffy and when I return, I'll have tons of story to tell" Usopp happily with laughing face said

"I know, you'll someday go out. It's just that I didn't think, it would be so soon" Kaya also make a smiling face but her eyes were on the verge of pouring tears.

Usopp looked at her eyes with love and boldly declared "One day I'll help Luffy to become Pirate King then I'll return. Once I return home, will you marry me?"

Tears started pouring out of her eyes, she really believed Usopp to do such a thing but she didn't expect him to purpose herself. She shyly said in low voice "Yes"

"Then I shall say goodbye to you" Usopp slowly turned around and start walking away but he stopped when he heard a word from Kaya "Stop". Then he turned around, at this moment, he felt soft lips on his own lips.

But the second he realizes and tried to say something, Kaya already ran away due to embarrassment. Then he also smiled and move towards their ship.

While at this time,

"Wow! This ship is great" Though Luffy already knew, he still shouted excitedly but that excitement comes from his soul. He wants to feel and go through everything Luffy went but unlike the true story, he would change something.

He won't let his crew getting helpless in front of admirals. He also won't let his brother Ace die even though he knows, he can't stop Ace from chasing black beard but he had planned something to prevent his brother's death.

And no matters the cost, he will achieve that. Without full confidence and spirit, he moved towards his ship.

"Nami, did you give her any name?" Luffy asked

"Though Kaya's butler gave us the suggestion, we didn't choose it without your consent" Nami replied from the control room, she was checking everything inside.

"Then" Luffy touched his very favorite sit, then again continued "Call it The Golden Merry"

"Yeah, from now on your name is The Golden Merry" Nami also shouted from the control room

"Haha" Zoro laughed from the back

"Hey, guys" Usopp who was running towards the ship with his bag shouted.

"Usopp comes fast, we have named our ship" Luffy shouted when he saw Usopp running towards them.

Then finally everyone was on the boat. Kaya was looking at the ship. Her face was still red but she also had tears on her eyes.

Luffy looked at his crew. They also looked at each other, Luffy raised both of his hands and shouted "Let's set sail"

"Yes Captain" Zoro, Usopp and Nami, all shouted at the same time. Zoro and Usopp climbed up to set the sails while Nami ended up in the control room. Luffy went on ahead and sat on the Golden Merry head. This was his own position and he liked it.

It was morning time and the sun was blazing on the sky. On this day, The Golden Merry set sail in the endless seas.

Usopp noticed Kaya but he didn't look back because he knew this will be hard to part way from her. If he looked back then he felt, he might run back and live with Kaya but he can't do that. At least not now, he already had decided to make Luffy the Pirate King and he won't go back on his promise though he knew this will be a very hard journey and they might even die in the middle.

But he didn't look back because he didn't want to regret it. He wants to keep on moving. He won't slow down, with his own goal to meet his dad and become the great warrior of the sea.

Still, one thing he couldn't stop. The only thing that he couldn't stop was his own tears. While the golden merry sailed on the seas, Usopp had his face covered with tears. No one on the ship comforted him because they knew, he needs time to recover.

On the island

"I'll wait for you Usopp and when you come back I'll be a great doctor" Kaya clenched her fist while saying it then she moved towards her home. But she didn't notice except her, three children to whom Usopp said goodbye a day ago was still crying looking at Usopp's departure.
