《God Chef Rordon Gamsay》God Chef Rordon Gamsay Chapter 2

I awake in my bed after having a nice rest as the sun shines down on me from my left, slightly warming me. I get up from my bed and walk over to the desk in the room to start thinking of what I’d do today. I start to think after I sit down, “I suppose I should head downstairs and get some form of breakfast. Then I’ll ask if there is some form of adventurers guild and where it is.” I get up from the desk and make my way downstairs when the smell of meat and potatoes fills me. I quicken my pace and head to the dining area of the inn. After I make my way there, I see a few people scattered about at the various tables leading me to sit down at a lonely table. A lady asks, “Room Number?” Causing me to reply, “Room 213, mi-ah I mean sir.”
“Feel free to call me miss, any day boy!” The very buff man in a revealing and tight dress replies. I quickly turn my head back to hide my embarrassment and bewilderment. I wait for a few minutes listening to various conversations, after a while my food is dropped off to me, by the man in a dress. He tries to blow me a kiss, and I make sure to avoid it at all costs. The aroma of steak and potatoes fill me up to the brim as I grab my knife and fork to begin eating. I chop off a bit of the steak, get some potatoes, and put it into my mouth. An explosion of flavor happens right at that moment, great combination of well-cooked steak and the crispiness of the potatoes. After the initial bite, I quickly finish off what was left on the plate, and once again the man comes back, but this time to collect the plate. I ask where the adventurers guild is, and the man replies “It’s just a bit of a walk down the street, honey.” I regret asking that immensely, but the information was useful. I get up from the table and start to make my way to the adventurers guild.

After a quick walk, I find myself in front of a large entrance into what is the hall of the adventurers guild. The guild bristles with activity, many people are inside loitering around what seem to be request boards. A large group of people walks out after talking to a woman with auburn hair. I make my way over to her as the group of people who she was talking to head off past me to the door. “Hi, may I help you?” the young looking woman says.
“Hi, I was wondering how I would go about registering as an adventurer?” I reply.
“Oh that’s easy!, Follow me and I’ll set you up. Do you already know how things work here, or is this your first time?”
“It is my first time here, to be honest.”
“No problem, my name is Marcy! I’m always willing to help, in more ways than one!” She winks at me.
Her blunt and surprisingly lewd reply throws me for a loop, but I push that out of my mind and continue to follow her.
“By the way, I haven’t asked your name yet, stranger!”
“Ah, my name is Rordon.”
“Nice name, anyways follow me to the testing room!”
We proceed to the slightly small room, I get slightly distracted by the fact her breasts were swinging about. But I regain my composure and sit down opposite to her.
“Anyways Rordon, here are the basics of being in the adventurer’s guild. There is a basic rank system, where you start is determined by the test I’ll administer soon.”
“Alright seems simple enough, so I assume doing requests and such will raise my rank in time?”
“Ah, you’re already getting the hang of it! Please keep in mind that you can only do requests that are within one rank of yours, that way we don’t have people who are Recruit rank, doing quests meant for those that are Master, or Advanced rank. Oh, that reminds me, do you know about the ranking system?”

“Can’t say that I do, miss Marcy!”
“Oh don’t call me miss, I’m not that young!” Marcy’s face blushes a little. “Anyways, the ranking system here is pretty simple. The ranks are, Mythic, Legend, Hero, Master, Advanced, Regular, and Recruit. Mythic is the highest rank one can go, very few people of this rank exist, easily under 10. Recruit is the lowest rank, and the easiest to get out of.”
“Seems simple enough, let’s get to this test shall we?”
“Alright Rordon, keep your pants on!” She pulls out a ball that’s purple and looks like it’s made of some form of glass. “Put your hand on this, and it’ll start to read what you’re capable of!”
“Alright” I place my hand on the ball and it starts to glow, a purple light radiating onto Marcy and I. It continues to glow brighter and brighter until the ball shatters underneath my hand. It all collapses into a pile, instead of glass shards being sent everywhere.
“Holy fuck that is not supposed to happen!” Marcy says bluntly.
“I am so sorry Rordon, are you hurt anywhere? If you are, I can kiss it to make you feel better!”
“I am quite fine, Marcy thanks for being concerned about me!” I reply quickly, slightly stunned by her lewd jokes.
“That really isn’t supposed to happen at all, I’ll start you off with the rank of Regular to compensate for this since you do seem capable enough! Of course, you’ll probably die, but try to come back safe now. I already have a quest picked out for you, general goblin subjugation, just come back to me with some proof of the goblins deaths!” she practically commands as she rushes to get me out of the door. I start to head off to where the sheet of paper she slipped me reads. For some reason, I can understand the language, but it is probably a gift from Jim to make my life easier, and more entertaining for him.
After walking for an hour, I find myself in the forest for the subjugation quest. I decide to sit down for a bit and take a break. I start to check over my equipment, I have a basic iron sword in its sheath on my back, some leather armor, and various preserved foods. I pull out a bit of bread and start to eat it to relieve some of my hunger, but my time eating is cut short when some creatures off in the distance make their way over to me. As they come closer, I can see that they look like goblins, green skin, wood clubs, and one even has an iron sword. I pull the sword I received out of its sheath and aim it towards the goblins. They get closer and I run towards them, readying my sword. I arrive in front of one of the goblins who wielded a club and brought down my sword on him. It sliced into him starting at his ear and traveling diagonally through his head. Blood spurted into the air, startling his friends, but not enough to cause them to run away.
I ready myself again, but this time the sword-wielding goblin tries to rush into me. I say, “Not the best idea, you shit-eating son of a whore” and as he rushes towards me, he runs straight into the tip of my sword, his face eating it as he slows down, and eventually stops. Blood trips down my sword as his head is slowly cut off by gravity pulling him down. He falls off, his head split, fluids begin to dribble onto the ground. The last two who watch their friend die try to run off, but they meet their end by my sword quickly cutting them down in one swing. I sit down against a tree to rest for a bit, not noticing the slowly encroaching group nearby who heard the fighting.

Join Dan in his adventures through this fantasy world! This is an offshoot to my other series, Bunnymancer. Past that though we will get into a new plotline, though if you've already read through bunnymancer I would suggest starting at chapter 7 when reading through this.
