《End Game[EG]》Ch 9:First step

"Yato, I got it!!" Sakura exclaimed. She had just managed to make her first spell, a water sphere. She had already built her energy core, so now she was learning elemental magic. Sakura was currently specializing in the water and air element. She found these two elements to be the best fit for her.
"Very well, now try to improve your mastery of using magic as quickly as possible." Yato replied.
"Understood!"
-
"Fufufu, Yato, See see!!" Sakura made several water spheres around her. She had already left the training room; however, her spirits did not diminish. She was so excited that she started pestering Yato.
"You did well. Your speed was faster than Keiichi's." Sakura took 5 days to build her energy core and 15 days to learn basic elemental magic.
"Does that mean I'm in front of him?" Sakura felt like a veteran. She was a little unsure when Yato told her about Keiichi. Even though she wasn't very competitive, she didn't want to be left behind.
"No, despite his magical ability and versatility being greater, his destructive power is still dangerous for you. You are tied." Yato replied. Sakura was much more versatile than Keiichi and she had a better grasp of magic than he did; however, Keiichi's destructive ability was far superior to Sakura's because he had the Hell Flame. Yato also balanced their learning speed in the training room so there wouldn't be any absurd advantages between them.
"I see… I need to train more to be able to use my unique ability, it's still very difficult for me." Even after increasing her magical knowledge in training, Sakura still couldn't use her unique ability very well. She couldn't even do the basics of what her skill was capable of.
"Don't be discouraged. Your unique skill is very good, despite being complex." Yato said.
"Un." Sakura nodded. She would strive to be the group's veteran.
"Are there still more people in the group? And how can we communicate?" Sakura asked, curious. She had no idea how to communicate with Keiichi. She also didn't know what the system's criteria were when selecting people.

"You will be able to communicate when you manage to unlock this function in the system. About other possible members, either you will make the invitation or the system itself will do it." Yato replied.
"I understand." Sakura was curious about how to unlock the system's communication function, but she felt that Yato wouldn't answer her question.
"Come on, check your status." Yato said.
"Status."

General Description: A great advance. You are growing up as fast as your syndrome.
Sakura pursed her lips as she read the description of the system. She actually thought Yato had some influence on the description of the system; however, she wasn't sure about that, so she kept quiet.
"Superhuman?" Sakura was curious about the classification.
"You have the power to destroy small buildings if you try hard. At 100% you can destroy a medium-sized building, for example a factory." Yato said. The power rating is not only rated by destructive power, so Sakura was in the same rating as Keiichi, despite her having a weaker destructive power.
"I understand." Sakura found her evolution to be satisfactory. She was just a normal human until recently.
"I think I can start my plans now." Sakura thought about her next steps. "I will make my first app; however, it will be difficult to increase its popularity without my family name…"
Sakura wouldn't use her family name for anything. That was a rule she imposed on herself.
"Yato, can you help me with this?" Sakura asked, her expression complicated.
"I can help; however, my price is 150 points." Keiichi and Sakura could ask Yato for favors; however, they would have to pay for it most of the time. He didn't mind helping Keiichi and Sakura with minor things; however, that doesn't mean he would help them whenever they asked.
"All right." Sakura didn't think the price was too expensive. She opened the system and went to check her current point count; however, she was shocked when she saw her stitch count.

"Ehh?!"
"You've spent all your points. 1000 points in the training room (magic core training) and 500 points in the second training room (magic training)."
"B-But…" Sakura was so excited when Yato talked about magic that she didn't care about spending points in the training rooms.
"Yato… how do I earn points?" She asked, with a confused expression.
"Daily Missions." He replied.
"I had forgotten about that!"
"Wait! Do I have to go through that again?!" Sakura didn't want to run from a bunch of monsters.
"That was a mandatory daily quest, this kind of quest appears with low frequency. The other daily quests are optional and they give you points if you complete them." Yato replied.
"I see…" Sakura felt better about not having to go through this every day.
【Daily missions】
>It travels 460km in 1 hour
Prizes: 100 points, physical boost
>Solve a puzzle
Prizes: 50 points, mental boost
>Do magic training for 1 hour
Prizes: 100 points, magic boost
"How the hell am I going to run 460 km in 1 hour?!" Sakura was shocked when she saw the system's first mission.
"Your body was strengthened after your energy core was formed. Running 400 miles in 1 hour is not impossible for you." Yato said.
"W-Well… I still prefer to do the other two first." She thought the other missions would be easier. Sakura started training her magic for an hour. The training was simple, she just tried to make better use of mana. She couldn't do more complex workouts because she was afraid to destroy her room. After an hour, she started doing the puzzle mission.
"A magic cube?" Sakura looked at the 3x3 magic cube with a confused expression. "Do I just have to fix it?"
"Yes." Yato replied with a smile.
Sakura started to solve the magic cube. She didn't find it very difficult to solve a magic cube; however, when she was about to complete it, the magic cube simply changed its colors.
"What the hell?! Isn't this a normal magic cube?!" Sakura tried to assemble the magic cube again, but the colors were switched again.
"This magic cube will change its colors every 10 seconds, try to assemble before that." Yato replied.
After several attempts, she managed to finish the magic cube.
"Finally!" She never thought assembling a magic cube would be this complicated.
"Now… I'm going to do the last mission; however, how am I going to run at 460km/h without being noticed?" People would be scared if they saw a human running at that speed.
"You don't have to worry about that." Yato said. He could solve this problem easily.
"OK, let's go."
-
Sakura ran through the streets at an incredible speed. Despite the fact that she was running at a speed much faster than the cars, no pedestrians seemed to notice her presence.
"This is amazing!" The feeling of running at that speed was incredible; however, Sakura's tiredness was also evident. Sakura decided to do a 230km course going and 230km coming back. That way, she could go back to her house peacefully.
-
"Ah! Ah! I'm too tired!" Sakura lay down on her bed, her expression tired. That marathon had left her body completely exhausted.

"Yato, I got the necessary stitches." Sakura said.
"Well, I'll fulfill your order."
"How will you do this?" Sakura's country media was dominated by big families, so mass promotion was very difficult, considering that Sakura's app has huge potential, big families will try to get possession of it. The only way Sakura thought of avoiding this problem was to ask her family for help, but she didn't want to do that. Sakura lives in a country called Istan. Istan is on the Sepia continent.
"Information manipulation." He replied. Yato —can manipulate any information at any scale.
"This skill is very useful." Sakura said.
"Well, I'm going to start making the app and preparing the company purchase." Sakura was going to talk to her sister about this matter.

Through Mist, Veil, and Summer
Anna Lawrence is a quiet girl who'd rather sit and write poetry than bustle about with her peers. After an incident resulting in a panic attack and a trip to the hospital, Anna's foster mother sends her to stay with her aunt and uncle for the summer. Upon arriving in the small mountain town of Glenwood, Anna finds herself caught in the machinations of another world on the other side of the fog: warring witches, animal-headed skypirates, and the boldest, bravest, most interesting girl Anna has ever met. THROUGH MIST, VEIL, AND SUMMER is my homage to Studio Ghibli films. It's a fantasy romance with a dash of adventure and a sprinkling of self-contemplation. It's a story that moves a little slower, a little quieter. It is my fourth novel, written between October 1, 2017 and January 6, 2019.
