"Here" Balkan said to Gen and threw something in his direction.

Gen took the object and upon observing it he saw that it was a transparent egg-shaped vial with a chain that served to use it as a necklace, the vial itself was the size of a thumb, and inside it Gen could see a light green liquid that filled half of the vial.

"What is that?" asked Gen not knowing what the object was.

"It is a resurrection egg. That is my gift to you." Answered Balkan.

"What? A resurrection egg?!" Gen asked in astonishment.

The Resurrection Egg is an extremely rare object, this is due to the fact that nothing that composes it is normal, the chain is made by someone with mastery of the essence of the metal, the transparent bottle is made by someone who dominates the essence of the container, and the liquid inside it is nothing more than an essence that focuses on healing in a liquid state, similar to the amber of essences, but unlike the amber that aims at understanding, the essence inside the Egg aims at immediate action.

"Why are you giving me this Balkan? I can't accept something so valuable." Gen said.

"Well, I already gave it to you as a gift, if you don't want it just throw it away." Said Balkan with a serious expression.

"Keep it Gen, you never know, you might end up needing it in the ruins." Said Anna.

Hearing Anna's words and seeing Balkan's expression, Gen knew he wouldn't be able to return the Egg, so he hung it around his neck and said, "Okay, I'll keep it, thank you very much Balkan, I'll never forget this."

Balkan looked at Gen, smiled and said as he laughed, "Hahaha! No need to thank me like that Gen, we are great friends aren't we?"

"It's true." Gen said with a smile on his face.

Soon after Gen held the Egg while it was still hanging around his neck and asked Balkan, "What is the essence inside it?"

Balkan was about to answer, when he realized that Lina was waking up and signaled Gen to leave it for another time.

"hmmm ... how long was I in a trance?" asked Lina.

"About five minutes." said Anna.

"Were you able to understand anything in that time?" asked Balkan.

"Yes, look." said Lina, and then immediately leaned over the counter to get a spoon and a knife from behind it.

First she held the spoon in her hand and after a short while she passed it on one of her fingers, soon after that a cut appeared where she passed the spoon, then she took the knife, which was a knife with saws, and passed it with force on the palm of her hand, but despite this no cut appeared.

"See? I finally made it to the second level of lethality." Said Lina very proud of herself.

"That was great progress." said Balkan.

"What about the essence of beauty?" asked Anna, "Did you have any progress?"

"Unfortunately not." said Lina half annoyed.

"Don't worry, at some point you will make progress on it too." Said Balkan comforting her.

"Yes, it's just a matter of time, 'beauty' was the hardest thing for me too." Said Anna.

"hmm, ok." said Lina, and soon after asked, "And you Gen, when do you plan to go?"

Hearing that Gen stood up quickly and said, "That's right, I had even forgotten about the time, I have to go now, I want to enjoy as much sunlight as possible, and I still have to stop by the weapon store, and the tailor."

"Finish eating at least," Anna said.

"ok" Gen said sitting down and eating as fast as she could.

Lina looked at the backpacks on the counter and asked, "Are those your backpacks? Why so much stuff?"

"I'm meeting other people," Gen said half evasive.

Hearing this Anna and Balkan shook their heads negatively, unseen by Lina.

Lina looked at Gen and saw that he was a little tense and said with a teasing look, "You seem a little nervous, if you want I can give you a goodbye kiss."

Lina made sure to say that sentence loud enough for everyone in the bar to hear, and with that everyone started paying attention to the two of them.

"Two shows on the same day, today is really a lucky day," said one of the men at a table while drinking a beer.

"Don't say that, I feel sorry for Gen. Lina is always on his tail," said another man at the bar.

"That's right, I feel sorry for him too, but that's doesn't stop it from being fun." said a woman with short brown hair.

Hearing this everyone around her nodded in agreement with what she said.

Gen looked at Lina and said seriously, "Lina you shouldn't joke about this kind of thing. I know you and I know it's a joke, but someday you might end up hurting someone."

Lina looked him in the eye and spoke with a provocative look, "And who says I'm joking?"

Balkan was doing his best to hold back his laughter, and Anna looked at her daughter and thought, 'That girl never changes.', and then said to Gen, "You shouldn't let her play with you like that Gen."

Gen thinks about what Anna said, but decides to stay calm, 'It's not worth the stress' he thought, but soon afterwards Lina continued.

"But I already said I'm not joking" she said looking at her mother seriously, and then at Gen with the same provocative look.

Seeing this Gen thought about it again, and decided to play along with her. 'Okay then, if you want to play, then let's play,' he thought.

Gen turned to Lina and said, 'Ok Lina, since you offered, I'll take the kiss goodbye,' and then he brought his face close to hers to the point of almost touching nose to nose.

At this almost everyone in the bar fell silent, and some whispered.

Anna was surprised and thought, 'This is going to be much better than I expected.'

Balkan looked at the two and decided to go into the kitchen thinking, 'I better go get some bandages.

Seeing Gen's reaction Lina was a little surprised, but then she laughed nonchalantly and brought their faces closer together, to the point where their mouths were almost touching, and said as she looked into his eyes, 'Come on, I'm waiting, do you have the courage? You know that if you do this it won't come cheap for you."

Looking into Lina's eyes and seeing the reassurance in them Gen pulled away and said, "It's really not worth it."

Hearing this Lina also stepped back a bit with a smile like she had just won a battle and said, "I know you better than you think Gen, I knew that -" but she was interrupted in the middle by Gen who quickly moved towards her, pulling her close by the arm, and kissing her before she could react.

Bam, Plac. Those were the only noises heard in the bar, and they were the sounds of several glasses falling on the table, and cutlery falling onto plates. Several people were open-mouthed and had no reaction to what had just happened.

Even Anna was taken by surprise and was thinking, 'What is taking Balkan so long? He's missing something incredible.

Lina was wide-eyed and stood for a few seconds without reaction, but soon after she recovered and tried to move away from Gen.

Gen realized that she was trying to get away and thought, 'It's not going to be that easy! You wanted to play with fire, and now you're going to get burned!'. Gen moved even closer to Lina and held her in a hug.

Lina was annoyed with the situation and started to use all her strength to get loose from Gen, but unfortunately she was not succeeding and thought, 'Where is he getting all this strength from?!'

At that moment Balkan returned from the kitchen with a first aid box, but as he looked at what was happening he dropped it. He went towards Anna and asked her, 'What happened while I was in the kitchen? How did things get to that point?"

"I'll tell you later calmly, you better enjoy the show while you can." Anna said laughing.

Right after Anna spoke this, Gen broke away from Lina and said while looking into her eyes, "I guess you don't know me that well."

Lina was looking at him still in shock, not quite understanding what had happened.

He then hurriedly picked up the backpacks from the counter, put one on his back and said goodbye as he ran to the door of the bar, "Bye Balkan, bye Anna, bye Lina."
