Amidst the shocking confession, Ethan firmly grips the empty glass on his hand. Not letting it go while telling Lucas something important one after another.

[Ethan: When my mother passed away, he began to change.. My father... Is the one who legalized something vulgar.]

This is the first time Lucas seeing Ethan like this. Controlling his anger, he returns the empty glass to the table. Things got complicated for Lucas, he's hesitant to even asked more about his past. The thing is.. Ethan doesn't really talk about his life before. That's the reason why Lucas, didn't know anent Ethan's family..

[Ethan: Anyway, I'd help you for that.. But you'll be the one who shines, take the credits. I'll arrange the sequence of event in the shadow. So make sure, you follow me.]

He begins to walk away from him towards the door. Lucas can't even think straight with what he's been hearing lately.

[Lucas: Hey wait! Are you really sure with this?...]

Ethan stopped at that moment, he turns his head to Lucas. Nodding to show his last resolve before going outside.

[Lucas: Damn it. I just can't understand you Ethan..]

He slouches on the sofa alone as he ponders what to do next.. Facing the ceiling, he closed his eyes to concentrates in his decision once more.

All of a sudden, the door crashes on the other side of the wall connected to it.. Making a tremendous ruckus as the girls trip consecutively.

[Lucas: Hey.. What's wrong?]

[Charlotte: Uh.. Uhm... Y.. You.. Look so.. Disturb.. I... So we.. Hide first...]

[Lucas: .... (I've caused them too much trouble today... I should just let things loose first for now..)]

Lucas stands up from the sofa, directly helping the girls to rise. Lucas can feel their soft small hands. With some reason, he quickly helps them to get up...

Someone outside the door knocks continuously, Olivia heard it first. Thus, she opens the door and she sees an imperial messenger from the castle. He gives a bag containing something to Olivia and left afterwards. She went inside to give it to Lucas. It was a reward(bag of golds) from the mission they completely finished. They were all astonish on how big is the bag. Lucas carried it using his left hand to determine how many golds they obtained, it was roughly about 100 golds.

[Lucas: What happened to Silhouette Crimson?]

[Charlotte: They.. Already left using Mr. Ethan's shadow magic..]

[Lucas: (Oh well, perfect timing) Anyway, you have your free time this day. So, you can go shopping or whatever you want.]

After saying that, Olivia was the first one who went outside after taking 2 golds from the bag and thanked him. Charlotte took 4 from it while Lily took 3. As for Hazel, she only takes 1 gold.

[Lucas: Are you guys serious? You can have fun outside you know..]

[Lily: It's fine, Lucas! We're just slaves, we're already blessed with a good, kind-hearted master. We are thankful with what you've done to us.]

[Charlotte: Y- Yeah! We lov..... I mean... We're truly thankful to you! This is more than enough.]

Lucas blushed for a second after taking some compliments. Hazel hugs him tightly to express her gratitude towards him.

[Lucas: I guess you're not mad anymore...]

[Hazel: Hmm?..]

Hazel looked up to him. Her gazes are quite harsh as she tilts her head sideward. Lucas thought of an idea on how to cheer Hazel up.

[Lucas: Here you are!!]

[Hazel: YEEYYY!!]

Lucas carried Hazel all the way to the top. He piggybacks her and runs about 5 laps to the living room. Amusing, It was enough for her to forget what happened.

[Hazel: What about Micaela?]

[Lucas: Oh.. I promised her that we'll be going out{Chapter 4, Mission Investigation part 2}, she doesn't know this place much yet so I'll accompany her.]

[??!?!]

Lily and Charlotte heard him clearly.. Lily begins to fantasize of what will happen during the happiness of Micaela's time.

[Lily: You're going on a date?!]

[Michaela: Wha-?!]

[Lucas: Now, now. I just want Micaela to experience of what normal people enjoy during the day.]

[Charlotte: I.. I see..]

Before he passes through the door with Micaela.. He told the rest to lock the doors and the gate outside before going out. Lucas noticed that they're still wearing maid outfit. He asked them to change clothes since it would be an eye-catching to the citizens. They went to their respective rooms to change....

[Lucas: Hey guys!! We're going out now!]

Lucas shouted for them to be able to hear it. For the reason that Micaela was done changing.. It was last time, Olivia gave her a beautiful long sleeve dress. The design of her skirt is flowery and is long enough to cover her thighs, she's wearing it now.

[Lucas: Let's go, Micaela!]

[Micaela: Yes!]

They have gone outside the residence. Filled with joy and happiness. Micaela holds the hand of Lucas. She immediately averts her head before he faces her.

[Lucas: I guess we need to hold hands. You might wander around, Leaving me alone after all.]

[Micaela: Th- That's not true!]

Lucas smiled at her while she pouted as she holds his hand firmly, not letting it go even for a moment.

[Lily: Ahhhh!! T- the- they- hold handss!! (Somehow, I managed to let them join. Hehehehehehe but my god, Micaela is way better than meee.. Though I'm not giving up easily.) ]

[Charlotte: M... Mi.. Micaela is so bold...]

[Hazel: What are we doing here? We could just be with them and enjoy this day.]

After locking the doors and gate, The 3 of them decided to tail them. Hiding around the corner of a shop that sells fruits, Charlotte bought 3 apples for each of them.

[Lily: Oh thanks. Come on! Let's go!]

They continue to tail the two from a distance. Not letting Lucas notice that someone is stalking them.

(Earlier)

After changing her clothes into a cute polka dot midi dress-like, Lily approaches Charlotte as soon as she gets out of her room.

[Lily: Hey, Charlotte... Why don't we.. Uhm.. Follow Lucas and Micaela?..]

[Charlotte: What... A-are we allowed to?.. Lucas.. M-might get mad at us...]

Lily was having a hard time convincing Charlotte, she thought of another way for her to join and that was to convince Hazel. She told Hazel it's for Lucas's and Micaela's safety, so they need to look out for them. Thus, Hazel accepted her proposal. Charlotte eventually joined them for the reason she's being left out, Lily's plan worked...

(Now)

Lucas and Micaela went to store one after another. Enjoying the products as they please. First, they went to a clothes store. Buying Micaela a new pair of clothes. After picking some, she decided to go inside the changing room. Lucas was there sitting on a bench, waiting for her to change.

After changing, her looks combines with the clothes she's wearing is truly magnificent. It can reveal her stunning beauty. The second one is a bit... Seductive.. She immediately changes to a different one. A cute clothes with suspender that connects from the mini skirt... But it seems she's having a hard time adjusting the space on her chest part..

[Lucas: (Well.. It's too big, the suspender would probably be detached from the skirt.. Rest in peace, suspender..)]

Although it didn't happen, Lucas murmurs as he fantasizes a bashful Micaela in his mind. Micaela asks him to get further away as she looks on the underwear section... They went outside after buying some clothes she tried...

Lily's group on the other hand, finds themselves buying some souvenirs near the clothes store. Thereafter, Charlotte saw Lucas about to go out and alerted the other two. They promptly hide behind a mountain of boxes..

Micaela cheerfully follows Lucas while holding his hand. They went to a cafe that Lucas visited a lot. It's not that stylish, yet they can feel a satisfaction with the atmosphere around the place. People are enjoying their light meals as they chat.

[Hey Lucas! The same order yet again?]

[Lucas: Yes please. Micaela what's yours?]

[Micaela: Uhm.. hmm... I'll order omelette rice.]

After ordering, the cook skillfully cooks the ingredients before them. Making Micaela amazed of what she's been viewing.

Conversely, Lily and the rest look inside the cafe. Charlotte is drooling over the food that she's seeing, she keeps looking at Lucas to avoid it, but her eyes tend to move on the meal. Hazel can't stand it anymore. Thus, she attempts to go inside but Lily stops her by grabbing her right hand. Because of Charlotte's clumsiness, they all slide on the tiles the time when Charlotte accidentally tumbles on her feet, making a scene on the spot.

[Lucas: What happened to you?? Why are you here?...]

Lucas rushed and saw them lying on the floor. Again, he helps each of them to get up.

[Charlotte: Uh... Uhm... eh... A.. Lily! You go explain!...]

[Lily: (W- why me!?) Uhm.. kyahahahahaha it's a coincidence..]

[Hazel: Don't lie Lily.]

Hazel pouts as she informs Lucas of what happened before that and the reason behind of it.

[Lucas: Seriously?? Why tailing me? You could just be with us in the first place.]

[Hazel: Told ya Lily.]

[Lily: I'm sorry!!]

Lucas sighs as he lets them go inside the cafe. Allowing them to order whatever they like... The foods they ordered are all ready to serve. Charlotte mumbles through a mouthful of steak, while Micaela keeps shoveling another bite of eggs into her mouth. Lily eats the pasta one after another while Hazel happily chews the kids' meal on her mouth. Lucas takes a bite of the cheesy burger he always ordered. The soft, creamy texture of the cheese that melts into his tongue can make him feel sanguine. They all enjoyed their time eating in the cafe.

[Lucas: Thanks for the food!]

Lucas paid before going out with them.. After paying, he walks towards Micaela to hold hands but she bashfully declines it, she felt someone's gaze upon her causing her to back down.

They went to a park to sightsee the blooming of the flowers. It was the perfect season for them to bloom. Not just far away, Lucas saw Evelyn sitting on a bench alone. He approaches her, as the gaps between them gets closer. Evelyn noticed Lucas going near her. Her mousy behavior begins to take affect as she sees Lucas walking with 3 women and 1 young girl beside him...

[Lucas: Hello there, Evelyn!]

[Evelyn: Good day, Lucas..]

They exchange greetings while Lucas smiles at her. Micaela asked what's their relationship out of interest.. He told her that she was a friend. Lucas introduces the 4 afterwards, it was for Evelyn to feel at ease at least. He told them to go easy on her. Befriending her in an instant as if she was already part of them. They all stroll around without a destination in mind.

[Lucas: Oh right, why are you here in the park Evelyn?]

[Evelyn: I.. I'm just getting some fresh air here..]

Beside Lucas, Evelyn answered his question in a state of anxiousness. Lucas noticed that there's something wrong with her, but decided not to pry deeper and just enjoyed the scenery before them. They were stunned to its beautiful petals as they bloom around the landscape.

[Charlotte: So... So pretty..]

Charlotte brings out a blanket from her bag for them to experience the word "picnic".

[Lucas: Woah, you're prepared, hahahahaha that's awesome! I'll buy something to eat then.]

[Lily: Ehh, but we just ate not long ago.]

[Lucas: It's fine, just think of it as a dessert.]

Lucas let them sit first, he grabbed his pouch in his pocket to go buy some drinks and snacks. He looks around to see if there's any shop available to order. A stall that sells ice cream are thronging clumps of kids. Hence, he tries to search for another stall...

It took him much time to have the things he wanted to buy for them. When he returned back, he notices Evelyn gradually becoming comfortable talking with the girls. He joined to them instantly, not wasting even a second.

After enjoying the park, they went to a game booth together with Evelyn. To make it fair and equal, they are not allowed to use any kind of magic(obviously). They spent their day with a smile on their faces. They continued to stroll around the places that are interesting until the sun goes down.

[Evelyn: When it gets fun, the time we spent together are typically fast, they say.. I wonder if I could do this with them again...]

[Lucas: Don't worry.. We'll do it again.]

Evelyn mumbles as she frowns her eyes. Lucas who's alongside Evelyn, accidentally heard her soft voice and replied. That statement makes her heart filled with delight. She bid farewell, hoping she can spend time with them again.

Their last destination before going home was... His master's grave. Lucas, together with Micaela, Lily, Charlotte, and Hazel paid a visit to her.

[Lucas: Whenever I successfully help someone, I always go here to tell it to her.]

Lucas puts some flowers he took(he asked permission first from a gardener) from the park onto her grave. He easily notices that there are already some offerings for her.

[Lucas: Hahaha.. I guess master really is famous.]

The girls at the back of him were silently praying. This was their first time seeing Lucas's bright smile as he talks about his short story, sitting beside her gravestone.....

[Lucas: It's unfortunate, Olivia isn't here.]

[Micaela: Where do you think she went for?]

[Lucas: Uhm.. Dunno, maybe helping someone again. It's part of her characteristic.]

As they return home, they talk about Olivia's kind deeds. She's a woman who supports and helps each of them from the moment they began to deviate from the chosen path.

As soon as they went inside the house. Olivia was there waiting for them to arrive. They all thank her out of nowhere, leaving Olivia confused. She just greeted and told them to eat dinner that she prepared.

The evening has come in stately fashion, with all the grace of a breeze in repose.
