Chapter Three: Mines
"Fucking spider webs everywhere!" Andrew screams while taking a web off of his ear.
"What did you just say?" AvatarPyro looks around.
"Spider webs!" Andrew yells.
"Fuck." Wundah pulls out his sword.
"Great, just fucking great." AvatarPyro draws his sword as they walk into an opening, the walls are filled with webbing, the floor is a huge web. The space is dimly lit, there are Tezara skulls scattered about, a rancid smell fills the air. The walls begin to vibrate with movement, screeching fills the air.
"Ah this fucking floor keeps getting me stuck!" Andrew yells, swinging his hammer wildly, fending off small spider scorpions called Neza, hundreds of them swarming, trying to get flesh.
Wundah cuts the webbing loose, slicing wildly, cutting many Neza into shreds, "This fucking sucks!"
AvatarPyro slices through rows and rows of them with his sword. They begin to retreat back into the crevices and walls of the ceiling, "Oh fuck this can't be good!" He looks around.
"What can't?" Wundah asks, the three stand back to back.
"Remember in The Lord of the Rings when they were in the mine and all of the small goblins started screeching and ran away?" AvatarPyro stares at the ceiling.
"Yeah? So what? Oh yeah! Fuck!" Andrew's eyes widen.
"That's when Balrog awakened and fought Gandalf!" Wundah screams.
Two giant fangs pierce through the floor beneath Andrew's feet. He jumps and deflects the massive venom-oozing fangs and flies to the wall, jumping off to return with his powerful attack, snapping both fangs.
The massive Elder Neza screeches as Wundah cuts its legs off and AvatarPyro drives his sword through the monster's body, cutting it in half, green goo oozing everywhere.
"That was way too easy." Andrew chuckles, the massive body fills the whole room.

"I think we're just really good bro." AvatarPyro chuckles.
"Let's take every fight serious though." Wundah sheathes his sword.
So many items fill the inventory. The three Adventurers walk through the exit to the next cavern.
Fifteen Tezara corpses are scattered around the room, pieces of meat falling from the ceiling. A complete massacre. Wundah glances at AvatarPyro, "Lawa?"
AvatarPyro shakes his head, "I don't think it's her man, she wouldn't be this messed up?" He half doubts himself.
"After what happened? The dude died in her arms man, like I would go insane if that happened to any of you." Wundah clenches his fists, pushing away the thought of how much pain she must be in.
"True shit, let's just keep walking." Andrew nudges them, and our Adventurers continue on their journey.
Down through dark caverns they walk, it seems endless, mine shaft after mine shaft, a cavern full of slaughtered Gyzex, a cavern of slaughtered Graza.
After some time they find a small clearing and decide to rest for a bit, a pile of rocks scattered on the ground.
"How long until we reach the end?" AvatarPyro asks the guys who are throwing rocks at the wall.
"I have no idea dude." Andrew bounces a rock off of the ceiling.
"Same." Wundah chucks a rock.
"I just thought of this super attack!" Andrew stands up and tosses a rock in the air, and hits it with his hammer. The rock flies into the wall making a loud crash.
"Super Rock Attack!" AvatarPyro screams.
"This could work!" Wundah yells.
"Fuuuhh!" Andrew puts his hammer away, "You guys rested?"
AvatarPyro gets up and dusts off his pants, "Yeah, I feel like the next boss is going to be bad, let's keep on our toes."

"It's starting to get hot too." Andrew scratches his stomach.
"Let's use Cold Pills only when we need to, who knows if there will be any merchants along the way." Wundah starts to look at one in his hand.
"We might be able to combine some items?" AvatarPyro begins to walk.
"We don't even know how long they'll last." Andrew stretches.
"Well bottoms up." The three Adventurers bump fists as they take a Cold Pill, the heat and flowing lava surrounding them has no effect on their bodies, they continue onwards in search for the exit. There is an opening up ahead, a vast cavern. The ceiling is high, lava flows from the top of a cave wall, a gust of wind hits the wall as the massive alligator dragon Akazo aims at a team of four Dual Blade wielders, who are clad in samurai-type armor. The wind from the Akazo knocks two of them against the wall, the other two rush to heal them, "Let's go." Wundah says, pulling out his sword and charging into battle.
"Fuck yeah!" Andrew sprints with his hammer in his hands.
"Throw a Flashbang!" AvatarPyro yells at Wundah, who searches through his inventory and flings a Flashbang right next to the Akazo’s face.
"You guys get out of here we got this!" Wundah yells, running up the Akazo's leg and slicing its eye.
The four guys scurry through the opening on the other side of the cavern and disappear.
"Jump!" Andrew yells at AvatarPyro, who dashes off of his hammer and soars high in the air. He crashes down on the Akazos's forehead, while Wundah shoves his sword in the other eye.
Andrew holds his hammer by his side for a few seconds, he can feel the energy surging into it, he focuses and pushes off of the ground leaving a crater, releasing all of that energy with his swing. The impact makes a loud thud in the air, the Akazo lets out a scream as it gets sent flying across the cavern into the wall, a hole punched through the body. Items appear in their inventory.
The four Dual Wielders come screaming into the cavern, "We're here to help! You guys?" They stand there scratching their heads in confusion.
"What the fuck are you guys?" One of them asks.
AvatarPyro bumps fists with his friends, "We're just gamers man." He says while laughing and sheathing his sword.
"Glad you guys are okay." Wundah checks his inventory.
"Charging really works, holy fuck!" Andrew yells.
One of the four holds out his hand, "Thank you so much, we're in your debt." They all shake hands.
"No problem, just be careful out there. This isn't a game." Wundah says, walking towards the exit.
"We want to get out before the Cold Pills wear off." AvatarPyro explains.
"You guys are smart." One of the guys says, "We're heading back to the Insect Fields, we need to train more. Good luck out there!"
The three Adventurers give a thumbs up, "Don't die!"
They head through the corridor and it leads them to the surface where they see nothing but ice caverns, mountains and snow, endless snow, "Well I hope we have enough Hot Pills." Wundah says, checking his inventory.
"True shit." Andrew says.
"Let's hurry then." AvatarPyro throws a Hot Pill in his mouth and the three begin to jog through the falling snow.

Glitch — Alpha [Swedish] [Svenska]
********* For English readers: (Might as well add this information in English to save the lovely souls looking through our works some time) I probably won't translate this work, but I'm working on another translation within YA, if that's something you'd be interested in. This one's horror/thriller, so.. yeah. Maybe sometime in the future. Otilia works at a daycare when a child disappears. Seconds later, the child reappears, like nothing had happened. She thinks she's worked too much, but when disappearences start to happen all around the globe, she and her boyfriend realize that something has gone really, really wrong. When they get an idea about what could be the cause, no matter how unbelievable, they will do everything in their power to get the information to the right people. This was my first-ever-novel and my first gamelit story (though I had no idea that was a thing/genre at the time). This novel contains a lot of violence and blood and can be uncomfortable to read for some people. There is also some violence from, and off-screen violence to, children.
