I really don't know how to start this.
What we just witnessed, what just happened...
"Mr. Davenport" has just doomed the very city he built with his own hands.
As much... As much as I want to throw away my reptuation, throw away my 50/50 facts and opinion balance on everything I cover... I can't. Because unlike that egotastical monsters, I know my words have power behind them.
So. Why not give the man of the hour he's somehow deserving of?
Elias "Mr. Davenport" Samson, the tycon thypoon that came from nowhere. He surprisingly has kept his past to his chest, but he's made various ventures, conquests, and influence since the late 80's. What were bold, erratic business decisions all came together in founding the Island City of Davenport.
The city was once a failing port town, very effected by the embargos and interrupted trade routes by the Shift Noumena, which gives you an idea about how... Theatric this man is.
Davenport is the crowned jewel, a physical representation of his idea that progress is the live blood of humanity. He's a humanist, he loves humanity, he wants humanity to finally help itself, humanity, humanity, humanity.
So why, for humanity's sake, did he do what he did just now?
Why did he cause a near crush of people, with 20 people being injured?
And who knows what else the international response to what happened will be?
... I still maintain what I said before.
It's when things like this happen when what I've said before really, really mattered.

Explanation for the tags; Action/Adventure/Fantasy: These don't really need an explanation, Comedy: I'll try to be funny hopefully I won't fail miserably, Romance: I like romantic sub-plots, LitRPG: No explanation needed but I am using my own system, Reincarnation/Summoned Hero: Not sure which one applies here I'm inclined to think both so I put both, Reader Interactive: I put this one here for my own amusment I'll allow everyone to help create the MC's love interest and maybe a few other things we will also hold a few contests.. Male Lead: self explanitory, Magic: Also easy, Strong Lead: Think of this as more of a weak-to-strong tag the MC will be OP but not till later in the story. Warning: Since this fic is labeled as 'Strategy' I believe that the readers should know as much as possible about the situations presented in the story so they can reach their own conclusions about how a fight could have been won or lost. That means: there are a lot of information dumps early on. I don't know how long I'll be able to write this fic but I promise to keep my few readers informed in case I decide to drop it or something.

In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.

I hate my (new) life. Who the hell sticks a man in a tunnel with flesh eating insects an unknown amount of distance beneath the ground with the nerve to say they're offering you a 'better chance in a second life' with no further explanation. If I ever find the HR department responsible for this ridiculous relocation I will simply punch all of them in the face multiple times- actually screw that. If I ever find any of these idiots i'm not just gonna punch them in their face, I'm gonna head-but them in their soon to be bloody, crooked as can be noses.
