《KFC》Chapter 16: A genius is coming!

Princess Min climbed out of her palanquin as her guards moved out to secure the space around her she walked over and sat down at a table and then instructed her assistant to get tea and snacks. The small restaurant faced the sky port and she could watch as the skyships arrived and unloaded. The Blood Sword's skyship was one of the largest of its kind and with its blood-red paint wouldn't be mistaken for any other ship. She looked around and then called out, "Wei Fang, did any of my older brother's people come?"
The handsome man shook his head, "The crown prince did not send anyone here."
Princess Min grinned and then asked, "Did we manage to come here without attracting any flies?"
Wei Fang shook his head again and then said softly, "Princess Jing sent her man to follow us and your younger brother Xiao Lei sent one of his men to follow us like normal. Assuming we are careful they won't see anything out of the ordinary when we meet the genius."
Princess Min was looking out over the clouds and smiled, "They are here." A blood-red skyship burst through the clouds and slowly slipped into the Skyport. A dozen men in red tang suits with the tell-tale markings of the Blood Sword sect moved into action tying the great ship to the dock and moving a large gangplank into position. Once the ship was safely secure Two sect Elders lead the way off the gangplank followed by a young man and three beautiful women.
The woman at the back looked over at Princess Min who dropped her teacup and then stood up and pointed at her, "Wei Fang, why is one of my sisters on that ship?"
Wei Fang looked over and frowned, "I don't recognize her, but her seal is the brightest I have ever seen, that includes your Imperial Father."
As Princess Chen walked down the gangplank everyone that saw her immediately dropped down to their knees and kowtowed. Princess Min called out to her people as she started walking over, "Let's go."
Princess Min felt a cold sweat on her back. Could this genius be one of this new sister's people already? Princess Min walked right up to Princess Chen and smiled, "Sister, I don't think we have met before. I am Jiang Min."
Princess Chen looked surprised, "Oh! I am Tutor Chen from Baichi, my mother left the capital when I was a baby so it's not surprising that you haven't met me before."

"Did you say that you are a Tutor?" Princess Min looked confused.
Princess Chen took out her official Tutor's medallion and then nodded, "This is my husband Tea Dubuya, and his other wives Bai Xiao Yin and Zi Chyou."
Princess Min smile and gave them each a bow then she looked at Tea Dubuya, "I have heard many good things about you. The Blood Sword sect even sent their skyship to pick you up. That's quite an honor."
Trampas could tell that this Princess didn't just happen to show up at the dock the moment their ship arrived. He shook his head and then looked at his wives, "Nice to meet you, your highness, if you don't mind, we have to be on our way out to the sect."
Wei Fang who was standing just behind Princess Min started to sweat and looked at the group in fear. He hoped that Princess Min wouldn't do anything to anger any of these people but unfortunately his wishes were not answered as Princess Min smirked and said loudly, "Sister, do your husband's concubines not understand that they need to bow down to Royalty when they meet us?"
Fairy Bai and Zi Chyou looked confused. Trampas looked annoyed at the Princess. Wei Fang tried to get Princess Min's attention but she brushed his hand off her arm as soon as he touched her. Fairy Bai simply asked, "I'm sorry, did you just call me a concubine?"
Princess Min ran her hand through her hair and smiled, "Sister, your servants need to be taught a lesson. Wei Fang, break her leg."
"You. Are you Wei Fang?" Trampas asked the handsome man behind Princess Min.
Wei Fang nodded. "Alright, let me tell you how this is going to go down. If you so much as breath in my wife's direction I'm gonna shove your head up your ass." Trampas explained.
Princess Min looked shocked and then turned her eyes to Princess Chen who was facepalming and trying not to laugh but failing.
Wei Fang gave a martial arts salute and then bowed to each of them in turn, "I would never dare to offend you, seniors. Her highness just didn't recognize who you were."
Wei Fang whispered into Princess Min's ear, "Each of these people is already a cultivator that I can't see through. Which means they have the cultivation of at least the Spirit Gathering realm. Including your sister."

Princess Min frowned and said, "That's impossible. My sister is 25 at the oldest and these other girls look no more than 19 and her husband looks like he is 18 at the most."
The Elders walked up to the group and quickly dropped down to their knees and kowtowed to Princess Min. Elder Li smiled and said, "Your Highness. Thank you for coming to greet us at the dock, it's an honor. Did you have some business with our Blood Sword sect today?"
"I just wanted to meet my sister but her husband and his wives didn't feel the need to show me any respect." Princess Min puffed out her chest and stood up straight looking down on the group.
Elder Song smiled and then respectfully spoke, "Ah, but your highness. I think you forget the family of a Royal family member is also part of the Royal family. This man and his wives are all members of your Royal family and not required to show the respect you are seeking from them."
Princess Min looked furious, she snorted and then turned to Princess Chen, "I'll be seeing you around then, sister." She grabbed Wei Fang and marched back to get in her palanquin for the march back to her palace home.
Trampas scratched his head and made a face as the Princess and her people walked away. "What in the hell, man? We are here in the capital for less than five minutes and Royalty is already making things difficult." He looked at Elder Li, "I can see why you'd not want to be mixed up with that bunch. You say there are hundreds of Princes and Princesses like that?"
Elder Li watched as the Princess left, "Like that? No, there are only 10 like that. That is Princess Min. She is one of the favorite children of the Emperor."
Suddenly a group of soldiers fanned out all around them and then one of the soldiers shouted at top volume, "His highness the Crown Prince!"
Everyone around Trampas and his wives quickly dropped down and kowtowed in the direction the soldier was looking. "Well, well, well it looks like I have another sister in town. Whose daughter are you? One of the consorts? One of the concubines?"
A foppish young man a couple of years older than Trampas walked down to the Skyport followed by an entourage of middle-aged men. One of the middle-aged men carried a book and started to flip through it. He got near the last page and said, "Your Highness, the only children her age that your father produced would be daughters of servants."
The Prince smirked, "Oh, I see, so it's one of my forgotten sisters." He looked her over and then looked down at the Blood Sword sect elder, "So your Blood Sword sect is finally taking a side, eh?"
Trampas rubbed his forehead and then gave a loud whistle, "Hey, Prince whatever your name is. My wives and I are busy right now, we'll come over to the palace for the family reunion later. Right now we just want to get over to our new home and get settled in."
"Who is this man that dares to speak to me like this?" The Prince went red in the face.
The middle-aged man with a book flipped a couple of pages and then shook his head. "So, a nobody then."
Elder Li and Elder Song both stood up and laughed, "A nobody? I wouldn't say that. A genius? A future True Immortal? A future Divine realm martial artist? That's probably the better way to describe Young Master Tea Dubuya. Oh, and he has already married your sister and is also a member of your Royal family. Have I mentioned that aside from Young Master Tea Dubuya even his wives are martial arts geniuses? The four of them are already at the 7th layer of Spirit Lake gathering."
The people following behind the Prince all had strange faces and then the middle-aged man with the book asked Princess Chen, "Pardon me, Your Highness, but can you confirm your identity and that you are truly at the Spirit Lake Gathering 7th layer? I need to report back to his majesty."
Princess Chen made a face and then sighed, "My name is Tutor Chen, an official Tutor of Baichi city. My mother's name is Ah Fei. She left the palace 24 years ago while still pregnant with me. I am indeed at the 7th layer of Spirit Lake gathering."

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
