《Debts Come Due!》Day-7 A Healer and a Thief make a Pact.

'Got to get that Healer from somewhere and a Thief will be needed. Why does life have to hate me so much? I guess nice hat man will be the first of them that I get, who knows maybe if I get them both to make pacts it will go much smoother. Probably not though.'
The thief was at the adventures guild but I know for a fact that he would never talk about the things that we need to talk about there so where else could I find him. Prehaps at the thieves guild if I knew were it was but that is a bust. How about in a place where there is plenty of marks for the thief to take from unnoticed.
Near the churches. He would be near the churches to take from the rich as they come out of the services. A good thief would only need to walk down the street and comeout rich. He was a good thief for me to notice and him to notice me noticing. It could also be near the bizzare if he wanted to take some risks and get easier to move goods. Gold instead of jewelry would be much easier to move even if it cost less that is for sure.
The services are almost over so I will check there first and see if I am right. Now lets go and see if I can catch a thief read handed or not. It is going to be a good day I can just feel it in my bones.
"I love the sound of church bells ringing. It is one of the few good things that I remember happening every single day when I was a member myself." Said Sasha while gently rocking back and forth to the silver bells song.
While thinking on her duitys to her god, The God of Broken Chains, she decided to go forwards and see what the day might bring her.
Walking through the crowds a few Paladins bump into me and jostle me around. I hear one of them say something about a 'dirty knight' before walking off. It actually reminds me of somethings that happened back when I was still an active memeber of my own church. Maybe I shall start my own branch one day, it would be so funny to see their faces afterwords.

'Is that him, no. How about over there? No! Why is there a prostitute on the arm of a decan of the church of virtue? Probably better not to ask questions that you do not want the answers to.'
"I do not think that he is here. Maybe he already hit this place and is laying low but it is likely that he alternates where he strikes to reduce risk. I shall check the bizzare and try to find him there. If I am being honest with myself I think that if he was this easy to find he would be worthless as a thief so at least there is that."
Walking away from the churches Sasha hums to the rhythmic dinging as they each make their own gods divine tune. It reminds her of her childhood in the church and the friend that she made there, few though they were. Good times long gone as they were sent to the front of a great war that they never asked to fight in and died. All of them died. Never had a ghost of a chance to make it out of that hell, just sent in to pile more bodies on the funeral pyre.
With the barest hint of tears leaking from her eyes Sasha bumps into a girl and knockes her down.
"I am so sorry just got lost in my own thoughts there for a minute." The dark skined stranger says while looking at Sasha and sticks out her hand to be picked up. "You do not have to worry about the little bump that I got if you are willing to help me with a task."
"Of course what can I do for you" Sasha says to the girl after helping her up off the ground.
"I need to move some creates of whine from the bottom of the celler. I got roped into doing it and could not get anyone to trade with me so I am stuck doing by my self. Any help from a big strong Paladin would be much appreciated."
"Of course and what do I call someone like you that bumps into complete strangers and then asks them for help with manual labor."
"Where are my manners my name is Drassisa and what is yours?" The now named Drassisa says while laughing along kindly.

Something is wrong. I do not know what it is but something is wrong, I feel it in my very bones but I need to figure out what it is. Is Drassisa dangerious or is it somthing else. Is she in danger, damn it I hate not knowing.
What is it!
Think girl think. What has happened to set you off like this.
You met her, talked and she called you a Paladin. Went.... She called you a Paladin, why would she do that when you look like a dirty knight. This is a trap!
It has to be but the question is do I want to walk into it or spring it from the out side? Is this the church coming to get me back? Did they act this quickly? No, it is not them. This is not how they operate. Must be someone else.
We decend below into the celler and I let her take the lead. Saying that I do not want to trip and fall down all the stairs. No reason to break my neck when I can just step where she steps right.
There they are the creates of whine. Just got to get them and then my hands will be full. The perfect time to strike so what happens if I flip the script.
"So this is where you plan to ambush me is it?" I say as nonchalantly as I can.
She takes a moment to pause and then spins around saying "She made me, help!"
Out walks a dragonborn with a rather nice hat.
"How did you catch my sister her acting is impecable. She never lets her mask slip." Says the tall Dragonborn while holding his hands on the dagers at his side.
"She called me a Paladin and even other Paladins can not catch on that easly so I knew something was up."
"Quite, well I hear that you are in need of a thief and a healer would not go amiss. Is that right or have people been telling lies. And remember that I already know that you made me from our first introduction at the guild." Says the Irrate Dragonborn.
"I heard about that and actually find it pretty funny. 'Is anyone being suspicious in here?' Who would have thought of doing something like that, it gets the kind of attention that you want and makes those that would give you the wrong kind of attention think that you are just a wierdo, it creats its own cover."
After some more talking about the paticulars of the deal I come to the hard part. Trying to convince them that makeing a pact would help them out and not just make them a great big old target for the less then desirible church sorts.
"As a warlock you will get access to some magic and improvements to the body. The Lady of Bargins does not request anything other then you pay your debts and she always collects."
"But why should we do something like that" the odd pair of siblings say at almost the same time.
"Because it give you the chance to improve and because by doing things that the Lady asks for or would binifit her you will grow more powerful. Just by being yourselves and taking from your enemies along with healing other people you shall advance. You will basically be paid to do things that you were already planing to do anyway." States Sasha while trying to look impressive.
"We will need some time to talk about things and decide on where we would like to go from here. Maybe a minor pact so that we can get out of here, the heat is getting a little to thick if you know what I mean. You see my sister is also a fense who moves stolen goods. She is great at making things disappear into thin air."
"The Lady can help with that and with giving you some high value targets. I can call on her for one that is within the city and then we can all go out to my cabin. It will work even better if we prepare to hunt some trolls or something to make money. We can even get a system set up where we make out like bandits for profit on top of profit." Sasha says rather excitedly.
"We will make a pact like that if it does not come with anymore strings attached. At least for a start."

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
