As I ran towards the girl Jeff cast a stone spike as it stabbed the Griffins wing it starts to chase after him. I grabbed the girl and run to the crowd of people as they backed away from me I set the girl down as I turn around Jeff is flying towards me as I catch him are you ok "I think so my side hurts a little" as I see he was bleeding the Griffin ran at us.

I set Jeff down and ran at it as my broken arm was healing I jumped at and kicked at it as It hits me with its wing. I hit the floor hard as the wind was knocked out of me it stood over me looking at me with is one eye. Jeff leaped on to it's back and started to bitting its neck. Then it hit him with his tail throwing him to the floor next to me.

As it looms over us a smoke screen went around us as we started too well sleepy the It all went dark.

As I open my eyes I'm in a hospital with Jeff in the bed next to me "oh good your up" as I sit up I see a man in a gray suit with a clipboard. Hello, who are you "hello I'm a MID case manager I'm here to find out what happened at the mall a couple of hours ago." I look over at Jeff "he is just sleeping now tell me everything."

As I told him everything leading up till now he wrote everything down. "Ok thank from what we have you and him did and you did not break the rules and will not be punished but I must warn to not do this again and we know that the gods want you dead so the department is already giving you a little wiggle room on fighting but be careful." With that, he leaves as mom, dad, and Hoshi comes in.

"Esmond I'm so proud of you for saving those people but also mad that you did that too." I'm sorry mom. Hoshi came over and punched me in the ribs "you idiot do you know what would have happened if you lose" I would have come back to life. "I'm not talking about you look at Jeff he's is your friend and you put him through this."

I look over at him see he is wake I'm sorry "no it was my choice to help." So what happened to the Griffin? "It seems it ingested something that made It go crazy." It has to be the church I saw one run away before it happened. "That's not good they are getting bolder after the news station incident."

So what are they going to do about it "the rumor I'm hearing is all monsters are going to be aloud to fight in defense if a church member comes near them." The news came on the TV in the room"good evening folks this just in a virtual video on line" the video shows Jeff and me fighting andsaving people. As we turn off the TV why is that still online?

"We try to take it down but it just pops back up" as we leave the hospital we head home as we drop Jeffrey off at his house. "Here we are, Jeffrey, I'm sorry for the hell we put you through" "it's ok guys I'll see you tomorrow we can go training.
