'Jett thank you.'
Hearing these words I was shocked but wasn't given any time to think about it before that damned butcher bought that axe down towards my head I wasn't given a moment to respond what was I a man covered in blood without my lighting magic nor any of my gear on me supposed to do against a man twice my size.
As it was nearing my head I could see it suddenly stop as a blonde haired man walked out from within the crowd.
“Jett Lord of Sunset Valley you're sentenced to death for the murder of your fellow man and aiding The Demon God in his escape.”
Instantly that axe came upon my head taking it clean off slowly I could see people I knew within that crowd The Old man, that elven youth and even my wife yet they held no sadness in their eyes only anger seeing that my heart started to jump yet before I could let it out my mind started to fade to darkness.....
User: 2o1 wishes to reincarnate you Yes:No
….User reincarnate what the hell does that mean? Screw it I got nothing to lose.
“Yes!!”
I blacked out once again, when I awoke all I could see was total darkness this lasted for a while during which I entertained myself by thinking back to when I worked on the farm with my parents and seeing my daughter grow up from when she was just a child thinking of that made me want to shed tears but none came out I got neither depressed nor happy something about my body changed I felt myself being able to move more and more parts of my body as time passed my surroundings were also wet and slimy but as I got more and more hunger I started to eat that wet liquid it held a sweet yet sour taste.

When I ate and drunk more and more of that liquid I started to feel stronger a weird sensation was moving around in my body I tried controlling it yet when I did I would pass out eventually I would awake in which I would restart the process after what felt like months I was able to move it around as I pleased when I tried to move it from out of my body I felt my energy drain yet I could move it around within a limited range after repeating this for a time something happened.
Basic Mana Manipulation Gained!
Basic Mana Manipulation Changed to Basic Dark Mana Manipulation
'These boxes again what are they? I'll ignore it for now but it seems that what I'm using is magic of some sort still Dark Mana only the horde can use that unless can't be.'
Pushing those thoughts to the back of my head I once again got back to trying to control my mana and use it within different ways I absorbed the mana surrounded me and released it trying to increase the amount of mana I can withstand, I repeated this for a few months into something strange happened.
Giant hands grabbed me pulling me from my shelter, instantly the light from outside got into my eyes when I blinked a couple of times and looked at the one holding me it was a red eyed pointed eared man with a hint of platinum blonde hair while the rest was a shining silver and his eyebrows were pointing up while his eyelashes were longer than usual for a man beyond that he had a slender build yet giving off an imposing aura, from what I saw during my travels and dealing with a couple of bandits I would say that this man was a dark elf his shining red eyes and pale skin fit completely.

He held neither a smile nor a frown on his face instead it was only indifference from behind me I could hear a woman shouting her lungs out at the man, she had long black hair and bright Lavender eyes enchanted by her beautiful sunny skin and pointy ears even with tears rolling down her face it was unable to decrease her beauty if anything it only helped boost it.
I wasn't able to understand anything the woman nor the man said due to them speaking in elven and not the human language, but whatever they were talking about must be an important subject since The Sun Elf kept crying in anger at The Dark Elf only sending him insults, then she turned towards me and chanted some words in an ancient language Blessing Of The Sun God Gained! expect he didn't even wait for her to finish before he grabbed me and went towards his horse, pulling down his cloak and hiding me within it before he he set off.
I saw the sun falling down revealing the moon in which The Dark Elf man's skin started to glow he also like her started to chant some words in another ancient language Blessing Of The Moon God Gained! we traveled for over a day into we arrived in a chaotic and sand covered area nothing like the place we were at previously with it's shining sun and it's beautiful flowers instead this place was it's polar opposite Red Skies a Black moon and sand everywhere alas as the dark elf was heading towards the gates I could see two figures wearing armor with pitch black eyes pupils and iris alike they looked like they belong to the The Black Eyed People race an evil bunch filled with petty murders and thieves.
The Elven man only flashed a badge giving off a chilly yet deadly aura shocking the two black eyed men next to each other yet they managed to quickly bow and move out of the way the elven man only casually walked into the castle carrying me in his robe due to how small I was, still my orginal body was never this size and I don't seem to be missing a head I must have been reborn again if what I'm thinking is true then this man is my father and that elven woman must have been my mother.
'Shit! Out of all the races I'm reborn as it's an elf with their weak bodies it'll take me ages to relearn all my former swordsmanship, what's worse is that I'm part Dark Elf hopefully I don't resemble them much otherwise it'll be troublesome when I leave the Horde Continent.'
As I was lost in my thoughts the elven man who I assume is my father handed me over to a maid with crimson hair enchanted by her fox ears she bought me into a room with a bunch of screaming and crying brats I saw creatures of all sizes some were two handled like myself while others had three or even four arms, let's not even mention the giant orc babies in the room pfft.
Rather than drooling on myself like the rest of these kids I'll better spend my time training I haven't forgotten the smirk on that demon bastard face yet.

Cycles of Ruin
Civilizations rise and fall. Kith build them up and monsters, led by powerful dungeon keepers, bring them to ruin. For three thousand years the cycle has been maintained by the Guild of Chaos and its endless hordes of minions who—in absence of their long lost creators—have taken it upon themselves to keep the realms of the universe in balance. The Guild has grown efficient at this task, but some among its ranks have begun to ponder the utility of a universe that has been robbed of the very possibility of change. Basil von Doom is one such dungeon keeper working for the Guild, leading an army of loyal minions from one conquest to the next; burning civilizations and sifting through the ruins in search of forbidden knowledge that the races of kith were never meant to possess. But having spent more than half a century in pursuit of glory and fame—trying to live up to the legacy of his father—Basil has grown indifferent towards his work. Desperate for a worthy challenge, but bound by his duties as a dungeon keeper, he has turned his mind towards uncovering the ultimate fate of the previous master of his house and the secrets that were buried with him. Now the young Master of House Doom must balance his growing interest in pursuing the trail of his father with the responsibilities that come with running a dungeon in service to the Guild of Chaos. To remain in good standing with the Guild, Basil has even accepted the task of mentoring an apprentice dungeon keeper, a young succubus named Elnora. It is at the tail end of her apprenticeship that the story begins; with a civilization poised to fall—its greatest heroes gathering for one last assault on the heart of darkness—and Basil striking up a conversation with his apprentice that will set into motion the unraveling of the universe. ***This is a rewrite and continuation of my story that was first posted on RoyalRoad a few years ago.
