《Re:Savior Or ærdéaþ》The Pit! I'll Devour You First!

POV Kaiser Dragontooth
'My name is Kaiser Dragontooth an orc and proud sub-general of the horde as usual at this time of the day I was in charge of training the four-ten year old horde children inside the pit depending on how well they do I would mark em down as a potential horde recruit of course we don't just accept anyone to join the horde if we did then most would die to Maneating insects or desert sandworms only those who proved themselves worthy through battle bathing in their enemies blood and earning the respect of their peers with some merits under their belts would truly be able to call themselves part of the horde.'
*slash*
'In the bottom of my eye I saw one who stood out the most to me among the bunch at age four armed with a spear unlike the rest of the weaklings around her she held neither the strong build of an orc or the overwhelming arm strength of a Cyclops though what she did possess over the others was intelligence and her swordwork I'd dare say that she was taught by a master if I didn't know better though I'm unsure of who exactly she's the spawn of from the looks of her she seems to have Kitsune blood in her veins though her vampiric skin and crimson eyes makes me unsure, I'd say she would make a powerful warrior if developed properly for now she's much too bony and pale giving off the feeling of needing to be protected with another year of training she'll be ready for the pit death matches.'
*boom*
'As I was focusing on the Kitsune I noticed that one of the wooden dummies were blown to pieces turning towards it was age five Jarogniew the one with the most potential among this group he was a halfbreed fathered by one of our orc chieftains and one of his whores, his eyes and skin alike were a deep green while his hair was completely white he held scars all over his body yet the most noticeable one was the scar near his cheek that he gained from fighting one of the bear clans boys heh the battle was amazing filled with blood and gore he should honor that scar with pride it's filled with glory so much glory that our former lord even personally named the boy.'
(Example of Jarogniew> http://i.imgur.com/rW14oPf.jpg?1 )
'And last but not least that disgusting dark elf brat his kind shouldn't be anywhere near my pit here we train our bodies and swordsmanship not magic tricks, hmph...eh can't be he's trying to lift that iron greatsword HA! At that age I could barley carry a wooden greatsword after weeks of training let alone an iron one on my first try, it won't hurt to watch him horribly fail then I'll step in and give him a speech of how his race isn't meant for close combat otherwise if the opposite was true how would the Dark Elves even gotten close to conquering the horde, if not for that arrogant bastard on their side with his abnormally powerful magic they would have been stopped at our front doors, alas no point in crying about it The Dark Elves reign will soon be over once The War begins again.'

Jett POV
'From my time in the horde continent I have to say that it's much different from my human kingdom rather than taking care of their young they throw them in either the Pit or Nightshade Tower in which they'll practice either close combat tactics and train their bodies or practice dark magic and summoning the worse part is that we aren't even given names unless we survive our training in the Pit or Nightshade Tower'
'That orc Kaiser who hates my guts for whatever reason mostly said that only The Strong have a right to a name and the weak should just disappear therefore he makes all the recruits fight against each other to leave only the strongest alive lucky for me I haven't had to fight in any death battles mostly because only those age 4 and up fight as for myself I have been in these pits since I was 1 day old that silver haired man who I assume is my father hasn't come to visit me in years.
'That reminds me right now I'm three years old in a month I'll be turning four therefore I have dedicated myself to strengthening my body and to be able to wield the greatsword again before the time comes for my first life and death battle of course I could send the dark mana inside myself towards my arms to boost my arm strength but I would rather train my own body strength if my magic is ever not useable I learned my lession in my past life when I was unable to use my lighting magic when that butcher robbed me of my head.'
'All the wooden greatswords were taken therefore I simply went towards the Iron one I'm confident in being able to wield a wooden sword but iron is another matter but as they say you can't tell how good you are without facing a hard challenge, I grabbed it with all my might pulling it off the ground a couple inches before I dropped it due to lack of strength, as I spit on the ground I only let out a couple of words that those near to me could hear.'
“Shit!”
'As I was cursing in my mind I saw that orc coming towards me with a smug smile on his face no doubt trying to rub it in my face telling me another one of his shitty stories about how I should go to the Nightshade Tower to learn magic, but then a funny idea came to me how would he react if I a mere three year old was able to lift an iron sword at this age.'

'I closed my eyes drawing out that dark mana that's sealed within me taking from that large pool of energy sending it towards my back and arms feeling myself empowered with strength I reached towards the iron greatsword lifting it far above me.'
POV Kaiser Dragontooth
'As expected that brat wasn't even able to barley lift the Iron greatsword off the ground feeling in a graceful mood I made my way over to him preparing a speech on how puny creatures like Dark Elves weren't made for swordsmanship something unexpected happened with a glint in his eyes his hands ran towards the Iron greatsword easily lifting it all the ground, I couldn't help but to whisper a few words with shock in my eyes.'
“Im...impossible....how..how could you a three year old let alone a dark elf lift up that Iron sword it took me into I was ten to lift it with such ease....” (Do you even lift bro?)
'The boy only looked me in the eyes with a smile on his face that had pride written all over it saying a few words.
“You were the one who said that Dark Elves weren't made for close combat fortunately I'm an exception, you really need to brace up on your knowledge don't you teacher?”
'Hearing those words I was enraged humiliated by a mere child and in front of my men with those other brats laughing as well he must learn that there are those you cannot offend it seems I'll have to punish him somehow, hmph we'll see if he's still so high and mighty tomorrow.'
Jett POV
'Heh it was worth it seeing that fat orc run off with his tail between his legs was satisfying, but enough of that I drew too much attention to myself I should get back to training.'
“So you can also use an iron sword huh? How about a spar?”
'As I was doing pushups I saw a white haired boy over me he looked like an orc yet resembled a human his eyes were filled with excitement yet he looked to be much older than me as my body is right now I'm not confident in being able to defeat those who can lift Iron swords without replying on magic such as myself.'
“I would love to spar with you but unfortunately I'm afraid that I lack the experience.”
When I said that a look of disappointment flashed in his eyes but it quickly disappeared.
“Is that so huh? Well I guest I should introduce myself first I'm called Jarogniew Lionheart son of Vagrungad Lionheart.”
'As I was about to tell him my name I remembered that only those who proved themselves in the Pit are allowed a name.'
“I haven't earned a name in the pit yet, but you can call me Jett if you'd like.”
“Well met Jett I'm sure with your talent you'll be able to earn yourself a name as well one day.”
'We talked a bit more and then bid our farewells, going towards my small room that barley had the items needed to survive I laid down onto my fur bed and embraced the darkness while slowly training my Dark Mana while I rested.'
"Wake up weaklings! Head to the yard a few of you're going to enter the pit to do battle."
'Hearing one of the guardsman shouting about a few people heading into the pit I hurriedly woke up.'
'As I grabbed a couple of pieces of meat that were left on the table for everyone to eat I heard an announcement from that orc Kaiser.'
“All those with their names called out shall battle in the Pit first... Jarogniew Lionheart! Vlad The Impaler! Demien Keeling! Grim Fade! Pitchman Greytooth! Violet Morgan! Ymo Blackwood! Raphael Kellman! Samuel Morelli! Norrix Moriarty! And last but not least The newcomer of Elven Blood! The Dark Elf"
'Hearing this the piece of meat in my mouth fell right out I knew that I wasn't ready in the least to fight in the pit without my magic so I strengthened my resolved and decided to go all out you want to devour me then I'll devour you first!.'

Magitech Awakenings
In this world of Terrapia, myth states that Dragons are caretakers of the chaos wheel, a band of energy that encircles the world, penetrating through the very fabric of the dimension. They tame and convert it, not only to fuel their primal magic, but also to gentler forms that man and beast alike can tap. But now they have faded away, being sighted less and less the past couple millennia. With magic weakening, science has taken root and in many cases merged in a symbiosis with magic. Guppy Bright, a 17 year old young woman, is a technomancer apprentice living in the bustling city of Nolusburg trying to make ends meet. Apprenticed to the enigmatic and somewhat crazy Technomancer Friedrich BrassTuner, she participates in an experiment meant to tap a new rich source of energy. However something goes horribly wrong and a rip in the very fabric of reality opens in the workshop, sucking in her mentor and ejecting a dying white dragon. The dragon, after examining her, takes a gamble and entwines their souls, an act that causes the dragon, Barthurthalomalew Dresnarian Kratomanger Harrowhew Objuslorow, the 5th, aka Batty, to regress into a baby dragon, sealing much of his powers and memories in the process. This act also has profound effects on Guppy, her own magic is now crazily changed in ways no one, least of all her, understands. Guppy is suddenly plunged into a world of mystery, intrigue and politics, where everyone either wants to control, or eliminate her. Armed with little but her courage and unpredictable newfound magic how will she survive and protect herself and those she loves when everyone from techno radicals, magic purists, politicians and guttersnipes are out to get her. And those may be the least of her problems if Batty's fragmented memories are any indicator.

#Call Cthulhu
An eldritch comedy. After Cthulhu is summoned into the world, the whole place goes to shit. Things really got out of hand after Cthulhu got nuked. Alex and Julius, a pair of brothers, try their best to make it in a North America reshaped by an eldritch apocalypse. “Stop right there Philip!” Julius interrupted, the vein on his temple starting to throb. “I do not want to hear another simile about what magic is. I have had magic explained to me by three cult leaders, a wizard, and a cannibal. I've heard that magic is like a rainbow, all its parts blending together. The human unconsciousness, powerful and unknowable. A body, you don't want to eat the heart straight away. I am sick and tired of people telling me what magic is. I know damn well what it is.” He drew a breath, interrupting his rant. “Magic is a bad joke. A whole lot of setup, for some nonsense punchline. This whole god-damned apocalypse is an eldritch comedy.”
