As Morgana is searching for Barone, another battle was taking place. This time, it is inside Musa’s castle.

Yuuno, Moto and Yuulah are staring at a bandit. Although the bandit managed to sneak in the castle, Yuuno’s timely detection forced him to reveal himself.

“The master brought me here to obtain your treasures”.

“Who are you?”, asked Yuuno.

“My name is Kildrath. I am going to have fun in destroying you.”

Drawing his knife, Kildrath went on the move and started to attack Moto. However, the attack was intercepted by Yuulah, holding a small sword.

“You will not harm him”, said Yuulah

Yuuno then charged towards Kildrath and punched him at his chest. However, Kildrath did not appear to be concerned about the punch. Noticing something, Yuuno decided to kick him. This time, Kildrath dodged the attack.

I knew it

Yuuno whispered something to both Yuulah and Moto. After hearing it, the two of them nodded and prepared to go after their opponent. Kildrath then drew more knives and started to throw them across the room. Noticing the tags on the knives, yelled,

“Close your eyes and stick together!”

BOOM

Explosions were heard across the room, and smoke emerged. After the smoke cleared, he is relieved since Yuulah is still beside him. Same with Yuuno. However, the bandit is nowhere to be found. Sensing something wrong, Moto leapt towards Yuulah, drew a small sword and held it behind. A clash of metal was heard, and Moto’s instinct is correct. Kildrath is right behind him, throwing his knives.

Suddenly Kildrath dashed past Moto. He went straight to Yuulah, attempting to stab her. But before he could do so, Yuuno jumped towards the attacker and kicked him to the wall.

“No one goes after my daughter!”, yelled Yuuno.

Kildrath held his abdomen, wondering why the kick managed to throw him off.

“I know that you are currently wearing a steel plate your waist. You are wondering why my kick managed to dent it, aren’t you?”, said Yuuno.

Kildrath, angered at his opponent simply snarled. Drawing two knives, he dashed towards Moto. With his arms outstretched and the knife pointing at Moto’s chest, Kildrath smirked. But then, a clash was heard. Blade meeting a blade. Yuulah’s sword has blocked Kildrath. With a determined look in her eyes, Yuulah is not yielding to her opponent.

While Kildrath and Yuulah are engaged in a battle of strength, Moto snuck behind Kildrath. Pulling out a small sword, he stabbed his opponent, causing him to bleed. Injured, and desperate Kildrath, pulled out a small knife and motioned his hands to stab Yuulah.

Anticipating the attack, Yuulah prepared for the worst.

SPLASH

A splash of blood fell on Yuulah’s face. Looking at the source, she saw Moto, who grabbed the edges of the knife with his bare hands.

“I’m glad I that was fast enough.”, said Moto with a smile.

Seeing Moto bleeding, Yuulah’s eyes are filled with rage. Upon looking at her eyes, Kildrath attempted to flee, but was grabbed by Moto with his other hand. With Moto holding Kildrath tightly, Yuulah is free to attack her enemy. With anger in her eyes, she swung her sword at Kildrath, wounding him. Now bleeding heavily, Kildrath, placed an explosive tag on himself, intending to blow up the castle.

Sensing the danger that the three of them are in, Yuuno used his magic to strengthen his leg. With his full might, he kicked Kildrath through the castle walls. The strength of the kick knocked Kildrath out. Now flying outside the castle, the tag in Kildrath exploded, causing him to fall to the ground. Looking through the huge crack, Yuuno, Moto and Yuulah saw Kildrath’s unconscious body. They sat down, relieved that the ambush had failed.

KILDRATH DEFEATED

While Morgana is wandering around Toghasto, Lance and Barbarone are engaged in a tight battle, with neither giving an inch to the other.

“Why did you let your sorcerer go? You’re underestimating me?”, said Barbarone.

“No. I’m overestimating Barone.”, said Lance.

“You’re overlooking your opponent. You might bite dust with that.”, said Barbarone.

“Probably, but I’m going to win here.”, said Lance.

With his eyes glowing, Lance put his energy into his mace. Ready to attack, he charged towards Barbarone. Raising his mace towards his opponent, Lance hit Barbarone.

SMASH

Expecting his opponent to flinch, Lance is surprised that Barbarone simply shrugged off the attack against him. Smiling towards Lance, Barbarone punched him in his face. The force of his attack managed to push Lance towards the ruins.

His body is like an armor. Guy is super strong

Running towards Lance, Barbarone yelled,

RUNNING FIST

With magically enhanced fist, Barbarone managed to knock Lance off his feet. With his knee on the ground, he struggled to get up. Clutching his chest, Lance looked at his opponent.

“You cannot hope to take me down. Hahahahahahaha.”, taunted Barbarone.

Barbarone then thumped his chest, showing how strong he is.

He is right. I can’t simply go after him in a strength duel.

Lance slowly got up. With his mace on one hand and his shield on another, he got up, ready to fight again.

“Just give up”, said Barbarone.

“If I would become the strongest Knight in the lands, I need to beat you.”, said Lance.

“Bring it then.”, said Barbarone.

With his mace raised, Lance went on the offensive. Dashing towards Barbarone, he swung his mace towards his opponent. Placing some magic on his swings, the mace glowed. With force behind his attacks, Lance attempted to defeat Barbarone. To counter Lance, Barbarone simply used his large arms to block the attacks from the former’s mace.

“Do you have enough?”, taunted Barbarone.

Without any other options, Lance decided to place his shield in front of him, he then yelled,

SHIELD SMASH

The attack was enough to move Barbarone a few inches backwards but is unable to put him down. Barbarone’s wicked smile unnerved Lance. Once again, Barbarone raised his arms and in a precise strike, managed to hit Lance straight in his armor, pushing him towards some of the walled ruins.

In desperation, Lance threw some rocks towards his opponent. Although contact was made, Barbarone’s body managed to resist the attacks. After throwing multiple rocks, Lance noticed something. With an idea, he found a large pillar. With his strength, he pulled the pillar and threw it towards Barbarone. Easily, Barbarone repelled the pilar. But Lance is expecting that. Using his strength, Lance yelled,

SHIELD SMASH

Quickly dashing towards his opponent, Lance managed to knock Barbarone off his feet. Finally, he was able to knock him down.

Light of fury, give me strength. Provide me your glory and destroy my enemies

MACE OF LIGHT: STRIKE

But before he could hit his opponent, Barbarone dodged the attack. Directing his fist towards Lance’s face, he yelled,

FISTS OF DESTRUCTION

At the last second, Lance dodged the attack against him, but the punch managed to destroy the walls behind him, causing debris to scatter across the battlefield. Without a second to spare, Lance hit his opponent with his mace, managing to injure his left waist. However, Barbarone counterattacked with a punch towards Lance’s chest. The attacks pushed the fighters a few meters away from each other.

Battered and bruised, Lance and Barbarone fell to their knees. Both are clutching their abdomen. Slowly getting up, the two locked their eyes towards each, intent on winning this battle. Panting, Lance told Barbarone,

“I know your weakness. I’m kinda glad that we fought at the ruins of an old city”

“Hmmmm. Please tell me about my so-called weakness.”, said Barbarone

“You cannot defend against consecutive attacks. Weak attacks, sure. But stronger attacks would keep your guard and magically enforced armor down, am I right?”

“Hahahahahahahahaha. Good job kid. If only you weren’t my opponent.”, said Barbarone.

“I enjoy this fight, but the way you go after helpless people is something that I cannot tolerate.”, said Lance.

“Me and my brother had a hard life. What do you know about helplessness.”, yelled Barbarone.

“You’re not the only ones who had a hard life. Other people had hardships in their lives, but they don’t go after innocent people”, said Lance.

“Who’s to say others are innocent? Your words are nothing. Beat me and my brother first.”, said Barbarone.

“We will.”, said a confident Lance.

Charging towards his opponent, Lance poured forth energy towards his shield, ready to attack his opponent.

WEAPON OF LIGHT - SHIELD BOOMERANG

The shield spun quicker than the previous attacks towards Barbarone. With a sidestep, he dodged the initial attack, but was confronted by a charging Lance. With a chant, Lance yelled,

Light feel me with sanctuary, surround my body with your blessing, go forth give me your veil

ARMOR OF LIGHT

Lance dashed towards him, intent on using his armor as a weapon to knock down Barbarone, Anticipating the attack, Barbarone activated his magical armor. He yelled,

MAGICAL ARMOR: VEIL OF STRENGTH

Covered in magical armor, Barbarone managed to stop the charging Lance. They are engaged in a battle of strength and will. Both of them are unyielding, and both of them determined to defeat the other. With their eyes locked at each other, it is simply a battle of wills until one of them falls.

The stalemate was broken when the shield boomerang hit Barbarone on his back, causing him to pause temporarily. That is enough for Lance who put all of his force behind his charge and knocked Barbarone down. Pouring all of his strength in one final attack, he chanted,

Light of fury, give me strength. Provide me your glory and destroy my enemies

MACE OF LIGHT: STRIKE

With one final swing, Lance finally managed to knock out Barbarone. Beaten and bruised Lance walked towards a damaged wall and took a rest.

BARBARONE DEFEATED

Suddenly, bandits showed up in the scene of the battle, all of them with the intention of killing the person who defeated their boss’ brother. With their swords and knives aimed at Lance, they began to attack him. Exhausted from his previous battle, Lance could do nothing but lift his shield.

Suddenly a flash appeared, slicing down bandit after bandit.

It was Vul’Kish.

“Thank… You….”

“Can you walk?”

“Yes…”

Lance leaned on Vul’Kish who helped him walk towards a friendly camp. There, some members of Fil’Gharn’s guild were healing injured sorcerers. One of the healers approached Lance and told him to simply rest for the battle.

While Morgana is still in the battlefield, looking for Barone, the latter is engaged with Musa in a fight.

A FEW MOMENTS AGO…

The runeblade of Musa is clashing against Barone’s Earth Blade. With neither side giving an inch, Barone stepped back.

“There’s way too many distractions at this area. Why don’t we fight mano-a-mano on the top of that hill.”, said Barone.

“Why should I believe you. For all I know, there could be an ambush for me.”, said Musa.

“Yeah, you shouldn’t believe me. But if you do not follow me, then I will send more men to your castle.”, said Barone with an evil smile.

“What do you mean more?”, said Musa.

“I instructed Carlone to send her commander to your castle. After all, I’m still after your treasure.”, said Barone.

Angry, Musa charged towards Barone, who simply yelled,

EARTH SPIKES

Spikes of the earth emerged from the ground, targeting Musa, forcing him to retreat. And with that, Barone ran towards the hill. With the intention of chasing him, Musa followed suit. Eventually, they reached the top of the hill. With no one in sight, the two of them prepared to battle. Placing his energy towards his blade, Musa yelled,

RUNE MAGIC: SHADOW STRIKE

Musa slashed the air, slicing the ruins in the hill, but Barone had already put up a barrier to protect him. Angry and determined, Musa charged towards Barone.
