With a huge swing, Musa managed to break Barone’s barrier. Summoning earth blades on his hand, Barone matched Musa’s attack with his own. During the clash, Barone is clearly outmatched by Musa in swordfighting. His earth blades would usually shatter during the clash.

Withdrawing from the fight, Barone chanted,

Gaia, aid me. Give me your power. Assist me in my times. Provide me with your will

EARTH MAGIC: HEAVY DUST

A heavy dust engulfed the battlefield. Musa is unable to see his opponent. Utilizing the dust, Barone created some smaller Earth Orbs. With a swing of his hands, Barone directed those towards Musa.

Musa heard Earth Orbs charging towards him. By swinging his runeblade, Musa was able to slice some of them. However, some of those orbs reformed due to the dust cloud. With a wicked smile, Barone moved his hand, splitting one large orb into smaller ones.

EARTH BULLET

The multitudes of mini orbs hit Musa. The size of the orbs was small enough to evade Musa’s swings but was also small enough that it only managed to score a minor hit on Musa.

“Is that all you’ve got?”, yelled Musa.

“Hahahahahaha. Of course not.”, said Barone.

Suddenly, an Earth Orb hit Musa’s back, causing him to get knocked down on his knees.

“You got distracted.”, taunted Barone.

Musa easily stood up and dashed towards Barone. In a stabbing motion, he went on the attack. Barone, easily blocked the attack after raising the earth in front of him.

EARTH WALL

The sword managed to pierce the Earth Wall, shattering it, but Barone simply disappeared. Just then blades made of Earth cut Musa’s left side, giving him wounds. Now wounded, Musa decided to retreat.

“You fool. Weaklings cannot beat me.”, said Barone.

Holding his abdomen, Musa stood up, aimed his sword at Barone, and defiantly, he said,

“Oh, but I will. I will destroy monsters like you.”

Pulling out his tongue, Barone mocked his opponent. Summoning earth spikes on his hands, he attacked Musa. With their swords clashing, Musa increased the speed of his swings, hoping to defeat Barone. Breaking the Earth Spikes, Musa saw an opening and scratched Barone, giving him a wound.

Seeing blood emerge from him, Barone used his energy to summon earth spikes from the ground. Sensing danger, Musa leapt away from Barone. With enough distance between them, Barone aimed his staff towards Musa.

Gaia, provide me your blades, your strong and steady will and your blessing. Stab my enemies

EARTH MAGIC: BRICK SPIKES

Some of the ruins levitated towards the air, and with Barone’s magic, these ruins turned spiky and turned towards Musa. Now aiming his sword towards the spikes, Musa swung his blade, and yelled,

RUNE MAGIC: SHADOW STRIKE v2

The spiky strikes were destroyed by Musa’s attack, but by simply pausing, Barone managed to sneak behind him. Summoning a small earth spike, he stabbed Musa on his back, giving him additional wounds. Afterwards, Barone kicked Musa, knocking him down.

Now bloodied and wounded, Musa slowly stood up. With an angry expression on his face, he sprinted towards Barone. Drawing out his sword, he yelled,

RUNE MAGIC: SHADOW STRIKE

The strike managed to cut the ruins behind Barone, but the sorcerer is quick enough to evade Musa’s attack. However, the bladesman changed the direction of his swing. Swinging to the air, his attack hit Barone. The attack was strong enough to give Barone a scratch.

However, Barone also saw an opening now that he is in the air. He yelled,

EARTH MAGIC: GROUND SPIKES

Suddenly, spikes emerged from the ground, limiting the movement of Musa, with some of them piercing him. With more wounds opening, Musa swung his sword around him, flattening the spikes around him. Jumping away from Barone, Musa channeled his energy towards his sword. With the runes on his sword glowing, Musa yelled,

RUNE MAGIC: SHADOW SLASH

A straight slash hit the battlefield, cutting the ruins and some of the trees. Barone crouched to evade the attack from Musa. Now raising his hand towards Barone, he yelled,

EARTH ORB LEVEL 5

Earth Orbs emerged from the hand, forcing Musa to assume a more defensive stance. With a swing of his blade, Musa cut the Orb of Barone. Distracted from the previous attack, Musa is stabbed by Barone using his Earth Blades.

“Hahahahahahaha. We have a huge gap between our skills.”, said Barone.

“I can close the gap.”, said Musa.

“How? You’re injured, and I only have minor wounds.”, said Barone.

“I will defeat you.”, said Musa.

“Hahahahahahaha.”, said Barone.

Retreating a few meters away from Barone, Musa prepared to charge towards him. With steely determination from his eyes, Musa went on the offensive. Pouring his energy into his attack, the runes of the blade glowed. With an increasing speed, Musa went for the kill. He yelled,

RUNE MAGIC: SHADOW CHARGE

When Musa is near Barone, he swung his sword, giving him a large wound. Blood was spilled on the ground. Now blooded, Barone’s confident look changed into one with anger. Retreating to an area a few meters away from Musa, he yelled,

“You are going to pay!”.

Raising his staff to the air, Barone chanted,

Gaia, with your sturdy power, give me your energy. Let the earth flow thru me. Blast forth your enemies

EARTH ORB LEVEL 5 x10

Ten Earth Orbs emerged from the sky. With a motion of his hand, the Orbs hit the ground near Musa, causing debris to launch. With his opponent distracted by the debris, Barone hit Musa with the remaining orbs, crushing him with each attack.

BOOM

A small explosion was heard near the forest beside the ruins. Both Barone and Musa paused at the explosion

I set up tags there, how could someone find out their location

Focusing on his opponent, Barone saw Musa heavily bruised and wounded. Despite his condition, Musa attempted to stand up in defiance of Barone. Angry that his opponent won’t give up, Barone summoned two Earth Blades. Unlike his previous attacks, these blades were composed of stronger rocks. Charging towards his opponent, Barone swung his blades, slashing Musa, causing him to fall on his back.

I’m sorry Saya. I don’t think I can avenge you

Unable to stand up, Musa closed his eyes preparing for the worst. Barone, seeing his downed opponent, raised his staff and prepared a chant, when suddenly a huge explosion was heard. Irritated, Barone saw a young sorcerer. Recognizing her as one of the three intruders earlier. Meanwhile, Musa opened his eyes and saw Morgana facing Barone.

“Oh, there you are Mr. Musa. I’ve been looking for you.”, said Morgana.

“Beware…. Of…. Him…. Barone…. Is…. Strong….”, said Musa as he lifted his finger, pointing at Barone.

“Barone? So, you’re the infamous leader of the Bandits ravaging Kuldro, and Azuran.”, said Morgana

“What if I am?”, said Barone.

“I’m going to defeat you”, said Morgana

“Hahahahahahahaha. You’re just a kid. How will you win against someone like me?”, said Barone

“Because I will be the strongest sorcerer in the world.”, said Morgana.

“You make me laugh. I’m curious though, how did you find us?”, said Barone.

“I was running around the battlefield and got lost in the forest. Somewhere in the middle, I accidentally blew up some tags, sensing danger, I dashed to the nearest place I could find, which is this one.”

Both Barone and Musa were shocked at Morgana’s statement. Musa thought,

She found us by getting lost. Unbelievable.

“So, you found us by pure luck.”, said Barone

“Grandpa told me that sometimes, one has to take luck into account.”, said Morgana.

“Who is this grandpa of yours?”, said Barone

“Merlock, the instructor of Colbarde.”, said Morgana

“Merlock?”, said Barone

With a wicked smile Barone aimed his attack towards the ground Morgana is standing on. He chanted,

Gaia, provide me your blades, your strong and steady will and your blessing. Stab my enemies

EARTH SPIKE: ROCKS

Rocky spikes emerged from the ground, restraining Morgana’s mobility. Channeling her energy towards herself, Morgana shouted,

FLAME ARMOR

Now covered in flames, she flattened the spikes using her arms. Launching herself to the air, she yelled,

FIRE ORB LEVEL 2

Two Fire Orbs emerged and charged towards Barone. Quickly, he placed himself in a barrier of Earth, blocking her attack.

“As expected of Merlock’s granddaughter. You’re not bad.”, said Barone.

“Your quick as well.”, said Morgana.

Releasing the barrier, Barone went on the offensive, he poured energy into his staff, and chanted,

Seeing the Orbs directed at her, Morgana chanted,

Ember Dragon flame, bless us, provide us protection and aid us in our times of need

WALL OF FIRE

With a wall of fire covering her, the Orbs were unable to reach her. Each of them exploded upon contact with the wall of fire. Landing on the ground, Barone charged at Morgana, still maintaining the wall. Arming himself with Earth Blades, he attacked. Swinging his blades, Barone was able to wound Morgana, dissipating the Wall of Fire. But before he could retreat, Morgana’s fist connected with his face, leaving him with a bruise on his left cheek.

Cheeky brat. I will end you

Morgana raised her staff and created a small fire ball on the air. She then chanted,

Flames of hope, ignite my hands and burst forth, fists of fire

FIRE STRIKE: KICK

Charging towards Barone, Morgana attempted to kick him with her fire infused leg. But these were blocked by Barone’s earth infused arms. With her opponent near him, Morgana kicked his chest with her normal leg.

The kick managed to connect with the previous wounds inflicted by Musa, causing great pain to Barone. Now clapping his hands, he summoned Earth Spikes around him. Barone then aimed the spikes at Morgana. With the flick of his hand, the spikes charged towards his opponent. To counter, Morgana yelled,

WALL OF FIRE

The Wall of Fire blocked the attacks, but due to her need of maintaining the wall, Barone found an opportunity. Raising his staff, he summoned,

Still, distracted, the Orb managed to reach Morgana, giving her bruises. However, she is still standing, although she is clutching her left waist. Seeing an opening, Barone chanted,

Fury of Gaia, give me your weapon. Allow me to destroy my enemies with your strength

BLADES OF THE EARTH: CONCRETE

With his arms covered in strong concrete from the ruins, Barone went for the finishing blow. But before he can connect, Morgana flicked her wrist.

BOOM

The fireball that Morgana summoned earlier in the fight had managed to hit Barone, halting his momentum. Furthermore, Morgana now had a clear view on her opponent. Aiming her staff at Barone, she chanted,

King of fire, Give me your power. Heat of the sun, incinerate my enemies

FIRE BLAST

An exploding Fire Ball emerged from Morgana’s staff. Unable to dodge, Barone felt the full force of the attack. Angry, he began to charge his energy. Aiming at the ground, he yelled,

EARTH SPIKE

But a barrier of fire was formed around Morgana, shielding her from Barone’s attack.

“You can use barriers?”, asked Barone.

“Grandpa won’t let me leave unless I have mastered the basic fire spells.”, said Morgana.

“You’re going down”, said Barone.

Aiming his staff towards her, Barone chanted,

Gaia, provider of life, give us your arms. Turn our opponents into dust

EARTH MAGIC: HAND CRUSH

Two Giant Hands of Earth emerged from the ground, prepared to crush Morgana’s barrier. Initially, the barrier of fire was able to resist the Giant Earth Hands. However, the Hands were slowly breaching the barrier. Noticing this, Morgana lifted the barrier and jumped through the air. Sensing danger, she her head backwards. There, she noticed small earth orbs aimed at her.

EARTH BULLETS

Unable to defend herself, she was hit with small Earth Orbs, knocking her to the ground.

Now wounded from the attack, Morgana struggled to stand up. As she is standing up, a fist of earth came close to hitting her. Only through her timely switch to a Fire Armor was she able to counter the attack. Retreating a few meters away from her opponent, Morgana picked up something from her pockets.

Looking at it, she smiled.

“Barone, I will defeat you!”, said a confident Morgana.
