Chapter 5 - New Weapon

Subconsciously, the old man shouted loudly releasing some of his deathly aura.

“Shapeshifting Ring!” Hira immediately summon his spirit to protect himself! Even though it's only a small amount, the aura has forced Hira to summon his spirit and deploy an azure lightning barrier to protect him!

“CAN YOU ACT MORE SERIOUS HERE!?” The old man unable to keep his composure anymore and scolds Hira. This time his shouted had been increased and the deathly aura collide with Hira’s azure lightning barrier! The barrier had even started to show some crevices around it. The might of the old man's shout is too strong for Hira to resist!

Just what realm has this old man achieved!? After a 5 month of meditation and comprehending the “Divine Emperor's Manner”, Hira has some understanding of his own strength. Even a Nirvana realm practitioner wouldn't be able to pressure Hira this much with his azure lightning barrier deployed! This kind of strength must belong to a higher realm than Nirvana realm!

“I just want a stick weapon, is it that weird?” Hira try to start a conversation with the old man to avoid his deathly aura erupted again, or else he might get heavily injured with that kind of might!

“What do you mean by a stick weapon? Can you choose a much more powerful weapon like sword or saber!? Both of them are the emperor of weapon! And you…. chose a stick weapon!? Even though a dagger is still in acceptable range, but a stick weapon!? Don't you understand that you're betting your life in this battle! You should take every opportunity to increase your chance!” Can't hold any of his anger, he vent it towards Hira. His deathly aura unceasingly emit on his voice giving Hira a huge pressure. Even though the old man has lowered the level of his aura, it still made Hira’s azure lightning barrier tremble and seems it will collapse at any time!

“B-but didn't you say to choose a weapon that I most proficient at? I'm much better at stick weapon than sword or saber….” Stupefied by the old man’s huge might, Hira stuttered when asking question to the old man. He can't even imagine a battle between him and the old man. He probably would just die with the old man voice! One of Hira’s knees had fallen on the ground, the deathly aura can’t be resisted by the azure lightning barrier anymore longer!

“Argh! Why did I say that!?” Probably forgotten of what he said, the old man can only succumb to Hira’s stubbornness. It is his fault for saying thing like that. He should just give Hira a top-grade weapon to ensure Hira’s safety. He doesn't want a top-grade diamond like Hira to die miserably, but when he thought about Hira’s spirit, he can only sighed emotionally. It is probably hard to find another person with the same spirit as the Forgery Sage even in thousands of years. Even though the old man had only live for hundreds of years, the encounter with Hira is probably because of luck. Because he himself known how rare is the Shapeshifting Ring spirit!

“This time….ONLY this time! After this I will not give any choices that can lower your chance!” The old man said to Hira solemnly for not having any solution to persuade Hira. His deathly aura finally decreased and stopped colliding with Hira’s azure lightning barrier.

With this, Hira can finally sigh peacefully and his hand is itching to fight a Perfect realm lifeform. He finally can test his strength to it's peak! This would make him understand his own strength perfectly!

“This…..take this….this is the most practical stick weapon in his legacy treasure storage for your realm right now! And here is the best dagger for your realm!” When the old man said that, a grim light suddenly glow in front of Hira and a silvery stick with black line in a bizarre design is carved on the stick. The other one is a fiery red dagger, same as the silvery stick, it has black line with bizarre design carve onto it. Hira wander is this something like a patent or trademark for the Forgery Sage’s crafted weapon?

When he grabbed both of the weapons he is astonished with the weight. The lightness of the weapon is incredible! It even light than the stick he always used! The silvery stick’s length is about 40 cm and the handle is covered with a smooth scale of unknown lifeform! When Hira tried to familiarize with it, he is astonished to found that the stick is very easy to control and used. It immediately became one of his favorite weapons!

Then he grab the fiery dagger, same as the silvery stick, it has an amazing lightness and very easy to control! The dagger hilt is covered with red smooth silk that felt really smooth when touched. The blade of the dagger isn't curved and has a straight appearance. The blade isn't really long with only 30 cm length, and has a shiny metallic substance on it. The metallic blade and red hilt give it a royal aura around it! Hira immediately tried the dagger with some move and become stupefied when a black fire suddenly emit at the tip of the blade!

“This….. “ By the sudden appearance of the black flame, Hira become astonished! Because the black flame gave him a sense of danger! Even he might become injured with his mighty body! Without his barrier or any shield he would surely be heavily injured if he comes into contact with the black flame!

“The dagger is called Red Royalty and the stick is called Silver Ginger! The dagger is one of the weapon that the Forgery Sage most proud of! The Red Royalty can emit the Inner Flame of Forgery Sage that he achieved when reaching the Nirvana realm. He had inserted his Inner Flame when forging this dagger. It had caused the dagger to be able to produce this flame! Even though the dagger still can't be use at it's full potential on your hand considering your strength right now, you will achieved it when reaching the peak of Perfect realm! After that you can even challenge a Nirvana realm on equal ground! For the stick, Silver Ginger, even though it still not remarkable as the dagger, it still win in term of manipulation! By inserting your essence into the stick, you can manipulate the stick length and solidness! It is most proficient in manipulation!” The old man excitedly explained both of the weapon origin and usefulness towards Hira.

A practitioner will be able to produce their Inner Flame when reaching the Nirvana realm! And the flame produced is followed by their talent! Even though at first the Inner Flame will be very weak, when reaching on the peak-Nirvana realm the flame strength will be terrifying! The Inner Flame can also be improved by absorbing a flame from another source. But the old man doesn't want to explain this to Hira because he is still far from Nirvana realm.

“That is amazing… “ Hira’s eyes immediately brightened after hearing the old man. This mean he can be placed at the pinnacle of this continent! He will be able to fight a Nirvana realm! The peak realm in this continent! This will help him to achieve his revenge and dreams!

“Don't even think that Nirvana realm is the peak. There is even much higher realm after Nirvana! Even though Ilsiya continent is placed on middle-rank, it is only because of it's wealth. If you're comparing Ilsiya with other top-ranking continent, Ilsiya can be considered a lowly continent!” The old man immediately poured cold water towards Hira.

“Erm…… well if you said so.” Hira face immediately became discontent with the old man statement. Even though he knew that there is a higher realm than Nirvana realm with many hints that the old man give, he still at least be able to achieve his revenge. Considering his enemy is from Ilsiya continent, with a peak-Nirvana realm might, he will be able to achieve his revenge easily!

“Then let start the fight with an early-Perfect realm immediately. Just make sure not to be overconfident and lose your life in this battle! Be careful and always examine how the enemy move and attack. After this battle you will be rewarded by the Forgery Sage himself! Even though it is only his consciousness, you should be proud to see him!” The old man said to Hira with some advice. He truly doesn't want Hira to die a dog death.

“Got it!” Hira regain his composure and prepare himself to fight an early-Perfect realm! He finally able to experience a challenging battle! All of the beasts in the forest are too easy for Hira to handle and he doesn't experience any life-death experience yet.

“Each of Soul Consciousness contained in Forgery Sage’s legacy is a form of test for his inheritor. The first Soul Consciousness is an early-Perfect realm! The easiest test that you will take! This test was actually for you when you had reached the Perfect realm, but because of your stubbornness, I'll allow you to fight it! ONLY this time! The other Soul Consciousness is much stronger than this early-Perfect realm Soul Consciousness! Each Soul Consciousness is made from Forgery Sage’s own soul that has been divided! Make sure to be careful because his Soul Consciousness is much more powerful than a normal practitioner!” The old man warns Hira unceasingly. This has caused Hira’s own heart felt with warm feeling. He had long become a cold-hearted wanderer that is full of vengeance. But it seems the old man had been able to melt some of the ice in Hira’s heart.

“Yes, I'll surely prevail in this battle!” He shouted loudly, before a grim light suddenly envelope his body and transport him!

*Sigh*

“Even though you had reached the Paragon….. why there always someone stronger than you? Why there always an enmity between you and the others? Why does enemy never stop appearing before you? Your dream is only to live a peaceful life, but this is what you get after becoming strong enough to even shake the higher realm…..With the promise I made before you, I'll guard this realm and nurture your inheritor, even if it cost my life. That is how I’ll pay your grace…. “ The old man reminisce his old memories. In his mind he remembered a young adult man with his wide smile in his face.

When Hira open his eyes, he is astounded to find that he is actually in a different place than previous place. He is in an indoor arena with a lot of different mighty beast statue around him! The statue looks very fierce and terrifying causing him to feel a chill on his spine. Immediately, Hira eyes fix at one of the statue, a dragon statue! It gives Hira a timid feeling when being in front of it! Even though the other statue seems to be carved with a sandy stone, the dragon statue is entirely black! The dragon has two horn on it's head with six wings on it's back! The dragon looks like a combination of fallen angel and a dragon! Hira thought that a real one might be able to destroy a continent with only it's roar.
