Upon her cold gaze, there was a glint of sadness swirling inside her eyes.

Cayle sat on the chair and watched the event unfolded instead. Her gazing figure frightened him and made him felt unease.

Although there were two thugs that seemed to be in their thirties, for some reason, Cayle doesn't feel that the woman's going to lose.

Even if he jumped in, the conversation, he wouldn't be able to defeat the two thugs, after all, they had a greater build than him.

The thugs seemed to be siblings, not only their appearance looked identical, even their clothes, and habits were the same.

The other brother seemed to not notice since his brother was the one being held at, so when he was about to raise a fist, to beat her up, her eyes came glaring, and then his fist became covered in the blazing sun.

"AAHH!!" As his fist continued swimming in the blazing sun, the other brother immediately got worried and took out the purse in his pocket. Handing all the coin he had, the brother which seemed to be the older one, begged her, "Please… I'll play! So, Please! Get the fucking fire out his hand!" although there was genuine emotion in his eyes, a glint of resentment was burning deep under the sea.

Can't blame them, they reap what they sow… That's their fault for cheating. Cayle couldn't help but pity the two brothers, if only they just paid her from the start, everything would be fine.

As he finished handing the coin he had, into her open palms, the two siblings immediately left the scene.

"Now, everyone. Please focus on your meal. The show's now ended." As their gazes fell upon silent, the woman unfolded their worries, by dispersing their gazes onto her.

Although it took time for them to adjust, the customers who paused eating their meal, continued their each own business, with their hands trembling in a cold sweat.

Now that the event has finally ended, Cayle' felt his heart stopped beating… How he should solve his problem now! He knew that she saw him who about to leave earlier, surely she'll give him the same treatment, she gave to the two siblings.

As he was dozing off the desk while staring at it. Cayle was lost amidst his thoughts.

As the sweat on his forehead began pouring down intensely due to frustration, a familiar voice sounded into his side, "Here's your order sir."

Cayle subconsciously took a piece of fries that was in front of him, and threw it into his mouth, as he was lost in thought.

But then woken up, when she realized that the voice of who delivered his order seemed familiar. When he came into his senses, the woman's face was into his side, with her frightening smug, sitting in her beautiful figure.

"Ah…" Cayle almost dropped the piece of fries in his hand, and then soon trembled in fear.

Although he was a man himself, he could feel that he was inferior to her, in the competition of strength.

Is she a monster! A sign of fear showed in his eyes… He never heard of such a frightening creature residing on floor 1 before, even in the information given by Leon himself, didn't say that there was a powerful creature like her.

Upon reading his thought, the woman smiled and introduced herself, "I am an adventurer like you, but someone who stayed here because couldn't find the culprit," taking a seat to the chair in front of him, she continued, "I'm well known outside the dungeon, so you've probably heard of it… I'm Cait, what's your name fellow?"

Hearing her circumstances and her identity, Cayle heaved a sigh of relief. At least, he wouldn't be in trouble of being killed now.

"You can call me Cayle, could you please tell me some information regardless of this floor?"

Cait expressed her shocked expression, by looking coldly at him. How come Cayle didn't know anything despite coming to the dangerous dungeon.

When Cayle saw the face she's making, he immediately cleared the misunderstanding, by speaking up all the knowledge he had so far, "As far as I know, this floor was called the goblin's nest, other than that, I don't further know anything."

"Goblin's nest? Never heard of it… Who told you that?"

"Leon. Guild master Leon."

The moment his words rang into her ears, her face put up a shock of disbelief, clearly doubting his words.

"It really is from him! Take a look." When Cayle realized that talking won't do any further, he took out a slip of paper containing the information about the goblin's nest.

Cait read the content of it, before glaring at Cayle, "How come you're the only one who had this! My brother didn't even give one for me before I entered!"

Shaking, while breaking out of cold sweat. Cayle refused to accept the words he had heard, as he gestured for her to repeat what she just said, "B, brother..!? Could you repeat what you've said..?"

Cait stared at him dumbfounded, "Why? You didn't know I'm his younger sister?"

Cayle shook his head as an answer. How he would know, it's only been a day since he first met Leon, furthermore, they're not even friendly to each other, that before he knew it, he became rude to even his sister.

Now that he had done it without knowing, he knew if he came back after clearing floor 1, he's screwed.

As he was pondering about what would happen if he came back, Cait suddenly chuckled with her eyes full of laughter, "Pffttt!… So… Pfttt!!.... You came here without knowing that I'm here…! Pfftppftttt!!"

Cayle clenched his fist in anger. Although she was Leon's younger sister, he felt like beating her up. If not for the fact that she was strong, Cayle would have punched her right into her face.

Cayle knew that if this continued, it'll only waste his time, so he straightforward asked her something he wanted to know, "Since you've been here longer than I do. Could you tell me what kinds of creatures you've encountered since your arrival?"

"It's only been five days since I've gone here, so I'm only able to gather a few, however the creatures I've seen so far, inside nor outside the town, were only goblins."

Was that why this floor called goblins nest! Cayle thought of it as a theory, but in the end, a theory was only a theory.

As they continued conversing with each other, sharing each one's information, the sun soon hid farewell, as the moon rose into its throne.

As every customer already had gone out, Cayle was the only one who hasn't left yet.

Curiously, Cait asked him what he would do now, "What's your plan? Are you gonna look for them while the moon's up?" she said, with a mocking tone.

"I'm planning on tracking them at the dawn. Leaving at night is dangerous, furthermore, I'm also a newbie just like you?"

Cait snorted at what he said, "Don't lump me in the same category with you. My brother trained me ever since I was young."

Lucky to be you then… Cayle really felt like resenting her. Not only was she the younger sister of the guild master. She's also someone who has been trained personally by him….

"Is that so…" Unfolding the conversation that they had, by saying something awkward. Cayle stood up from his seat and was about to bid farewell without saying a thing…

"Halt." But before he even managed to turn his back on her, Cait stopped him on his track, "Where do you plan on staying the night though..?," her eyes were ferocious glaring a fire on him.

Cayle scratched the back of his head as he tried escaping with an excuse, "A, ah… Er… By staying at the hotel of course!"

Cait stared at him with disbelief, "How much money do you have on you though?"

Now that he had thought of it, an answer like it was the most suspicious one in his current situation. After all, despite starving, he forced to buy the fries instead of switching restaurants, just for his pride. From his order alone, one could tell, the reason he brought it because it's the only one he could afford.
