Tom 21 years old thug of the slums. Austin knew him from childhood as he used to get billed by him ever since . Since Austin was small Tom bullied him when ever he found him but then grandma Ada was there to protect him later since he was child and grandma was old Tom began to harsh and exhort money from them .

Austin remembered everything Tom did to him but he decided to lay low for now and teach him a lesson after he was fully healed. After all he was 14 years old kid who got beaten up recently, Austin was not a emotional hot blooded teen after all he was 27years old .

He quietly backed away and took a different path to return home and slept early after taking medicine.

Next morning he woke up early checking his body which was almost completely healed he looked at himself in broken mirror and he began to do some light stretching . His physics was very average cause of lack of nutrition. His height was around 5.1ft quite short for his age and he was also very thin and scrawny . Light brown hair and black eyes his looks were passable at least .

Then the daily routine of polishing began . Today he closed the business around 12 realising that no customer came after 12 he ended up earning 6 bronze little more than yesterday. Then he strolled around the city for job as Mr . Gordon couldn’t find any today. He walked around whole city for hours with some fruit and cheep bread in hand .

He saw many beast men, elves, and even dwarf but he couldn’t see any lizard men. He also found weapon shops, ins , potions shop, library , church , Adventures guild, etc. He decided to go to library but the entry fee was of 2 silver for 1 month. All he achieved today was rough mental map of the whole city along with some glimpse at the magic technology such as trains with mana engine, carts and wagons pulled by huge powerful beasts, and simple daily use magic devices like lamps, storage bags, clocks .

“Looks like I need to gather more information about power system of the world .” The day was not all unfruitful . In summery he learned that this world was the one ruled by magic. To learn magic he needs to join academy or learn from a mage as a disciple ,to learn sword, bow, dagger etc. one has to join church or army or directly join adventure guild learning himself by fighting monsters but he was tired from Assassination jobs , ‘learning how to spit flames and icicles would be pretty fun' Austin thought.

It was already very dark so he decided to check out adventures guild tomorrow and returned home .
