Opening the encyclopaedia Austin saw more than 1000 types of organisms he began to read whatever he found summering general information.

There were some monsters like goblin, orc, kobolds, trolls, dragons, Griffin, etc. There were also many other common animals from his old world which looked a lot more vicious labelled as monsters but he also found some who looked a lot more cute and fluffy also labelled as monsters. It was a mystery he had to solve so he searched through many books for the answer. After all people won’t fill there books with general knowledge and common sense, will they?

After searching a lot he finally found some answers. The monsters are labelled so because they have rampant mana flowing in them and then they grow powerful that mana saturates into cores which decides the rank of a beast .there are total 9 ranks for beast depending on size and colour of its core and strength of monster. These so called monsters can use bit of magic when the cores form depending on there bloodline and abilities. They use this power as skills naturally and instinctively.

If any monster managed to cross rank 9 they are called sage beast who have unimaginable power and wisdom. Above those exist divine beast with pure bloodline who are in the level similar to sage beast from birth like dragons.

“ If I face such creature I will die Just from there magical fart . How is there such a huge city in the world full of such beasts I need to know about the city first.” Saying so Austin began to search information about the city.

Before he could read more his time was up and he had to leave the library. He decided to return, eat and train his body and mediate . “ can’t live like this need a place to call a home tomorrow let’s ask Mr. Gordon and also Boss if they can help. It would be a lot easier if that greedy alchemist would just let me sleep in the shop.”

Austin went to eat in a restaurant. While returning after having a meal he saw a man getting beaten up in an ally . “Time to be a saviour of justice.” He almost changed his mind when he saw 2 metre tall and bulky bully but he had to earn cough .. help the man getting beaten up. He got closer to collect more information about the bully but when he saw the one getting beaten his eyes narrowed showing the intent to kill.
