Chapter 14

I didn't want to fight him since he was one of Mia's friends, but refusing wasn't an option. Vincent sent his fist flying towards me. I slightly tilted my head to the side and his fist crashed into the wall next to my face causing a sizable dent. That wall was actually the hidden door so it wouldn't be easy to destroy. Sound doesn't transmit through so the people inside wouldn't hear this fight, but I won't be able to keep the monitoring system under my control while I fight.

I grabbed his arm and rammed my knee into his stomach. I used my legs to lock his arm in a hold then broke the arm.

Vincent:"Aaaahhhh!!!"

Cyrus:"If you're gonna be me then you can take a little pain."

I grabbed his other arm then snapped it too.

Vincent:"Fuuuuuuck!!!!"

Cyrus:"Don't worry I'll be done soon."

I released my hold and grabbed his head and shoved my fingers into his skull. They didn't get very deep since he was able to jump back. His arms had already started to heal.

Cyrus:"So you got my healing ability too."

Vincent:"I told you I got everything that makes you who you are."

Cyrus:"We'll see about that."

I lunged towards him and slammed him into the wall. I pinned both his legs with mine and the one healed arm with one of mine.

Scale Mode Activated

I shoved my scaly right arm into his chest and pulled out his heart.

Cyrus:"Lets see how good of a copy you are."

I tossed his heart to the side then tour out his spinal cord and kicked him in an arch. He smashed through the roof and landed on the front lawn. I leapt through the hole his body left in the house and landed a few feet away. He was lying on the ground not moving.

Cyrus:"I guess it was a cheap copy, but it still impressed me. With a little hard work he could be really strong."

I wanted to be thorough so I walked over to him and placed my hands on his head.

Heat Wave Activated

His head started to melt. My fingers melted through the helmet then through his head like butter. Even if he did completely copy my healing ability too it would take a little while to fix this. If the brain is destroyed the healing takes longer.

Cyrus:"I expected more from an SSS ranked omega."

I left his body there and went back to the basement. I first checked to see where they were and was relieved when I found them in the same place as before the fight. They still hadn't checked the monitors so this fight wasn't noticed. I took control again and decided I had to open the door now since it wouldn't be long before someone shows up to investigate what just happened.

***************7 Years Ago*****************

I was told today that they completed all the experiments they planned to do on me. A new batch of kids were brought in to be used. After the last experiment I started to feel like I was never alone. I wasn't sure what this feeling meant so I tried to ignore it. I was told that I would be showing my new power off to some people. When I entered the room I noticed an industrial treadmill and blocks of some kind of metal then I looked towards the mirror wall. I heard a voice play out of a speaker.

Father:"Cyrus welcome to the mirror room. Today you will display the power we gave you."

Cyrus:"Yes sir. Activate!"

This was the first time I activated the suit, but I felt quite comfortable and better then before. I had to run on the treadmill for hours as fast as I could and lift then break the metal blocks. I had to spar with a few people too, but they weren't very hard to beat. They brought in Tony as a test dummy.

Father:"Ok kill him in as many different ways as you can as fast as you can."

Cyrus:"Why!?"

Tony:"It's alright Cyrus. I won't die anyway."

Cyrus:"I don't want to do that to you!"

Tony:"Listen, if you don't do it they might do something to those three you're trying to protect."

Cyrus:"But......."

Tony:"Nothing's gonna change. I won't hate you and you won't hurt me so do it. I'll be here for you whenever you need me."

I stilled my resolve and clenched my fists then attacked. I don't remember how many times I killed him, but there was an amazing amount of blood. I just stood there after I couldn't think of any other ways to kill him.

Father:"Good job. Thanks to your display this lab has a bright future."

I waited there for Tony to finish healing.

Tony:"That last one really hurt."

Cyrus:"Sorry."

I said in a low voice with my eyes fixed on the ground.

Tony:"Don't worry. I'm fine."

He ruffled my hair which made me smile. I always felt better when Tony was around. Fire suddenly covered my vision. The room I was in exploded. Tony pulled me close and tried to protect me with his body. My vision went black as I lost consciousness.

My body was aching as I woke up. Something felt wrong with me so I tried looking around. I could see the room I was in had been destroyed, but it was night. When the display ended I knew it was only 1 in the afternoon so I must have been out for awhile. I forced myself up as pain wracked my body.

Cyrus:"What is this?"

Cyrus:"Do you understand me?"

Cyrus:"So you do know what I'm saying then tell me what happened."

Cyrus:"I still don't understand. Where did he go?"

Cyrus:"I don't understand what that means!"

I felt like I couldn't breath. I knew what assimilation meant, but I didn't want to except it. I had already noticed my body wasn't the same as before. The suit fused me with Tony. My orange hair was now black and I looked older. I also had a scar below my ribs on my right side that wasn't there before this explosion.

Cyrus:"What happened to Tonys mind?"

I went limp and passed out. Tony was gone. When I finally woke up I tried to focus on the other kids. I had to see if they were still alive. I searched and searched, but couldn't find them or their corpses. The suit started gathering information from the labs computers every time we found one that wasn't destroyed. That's when I learned this suit wasn't one of a kind. I had no idea where to find the other suits and at the time I didn't really care.

Cyrus:"Their bodies aren't here so maybe they got away."

Cyrus:"What can you tell me about the attackers?"

Cyrus:"Maybe they were after the research?"

Cyrus:"You could at least give me some ideas. Why do you think they were here?"

Cyrus:"Thanks."

I said sarcastically. The kids were definitely not here so there's a chance they could be alive.

Cyrus:"I'll find them."

Cyrus:"Then why do you think they were taken."

I was raised in this lab and don't remember ever seeing anything else, but it was finally time for me to venture out into the world.

Cyrus:"I'll defiantly find you."

****************Modern Time***************

I stepped inside the safe house bunker. I made my way to the room they had been standing in and pushed the door open.

*I finally found them.*

It was empty inside.

Cyrus:"What!?"

I ran to the monitor room and saw the video was tampered with.

Cyrus:"They must have noticed me at some point and hacked it themselves. Shit! So where did they go."

It must have been during the fight with Vincent or before I even hacked it the first time. They might have already been gone long before I got here. My suit didn't even realize it which means one of there's is a better hacker.

Cyrus:"Now what."

They were already gone and I had no idea where they went. Vincent might heal at any moment so I needed to get out of here. I ran out of the bunker and found Vincent still dead.

Cyrus:"Maybe he really is dead? I thought he said he became everything that's makes me who I am. Guess he was wrong."
