《Awakening》Vidar

Before Avren entered the Martial Training Hall, Ger told him that he would only experience the battles his master fought when he was at the Foundation Realm.
That means Avren’s past incarnation could slay the giant wolf effortlessly while being at mere Foundation Realm!
On the other hand, Avren himself couldn’t even react! If he were the one fighting that wolf, he would die instantly! Even though both were at the Foundation Realm!
That shows how much difference there is between the two. Though, the biggest factor behind this is the different environments in which they grew up.
Avren’s past incarnation was born in a world where normal people practiced cultivation. A world where the strong ate the weak. Comparing Earth with that world, it was as if comparing heaven with hell.
After Avren 'killed' the giant wolf, everything thing blacked out. Afterwards, he found himself in a different place.
In the middle of a vast wasteland, Avren was standing in the middle surrounded by three people. He was holding the same sword that killed the wolf.
'Oh dear. This is going to be tough.’ Avren thought in his mind.
...........................
Outside the Martial Training Hall, Ger was sitting on the ground waiting for Avren.
'Master’s Foundation Realm battle experience should take about one week. Using outside time, it’s about 15 minutes.’ Ger expected Avren to be out in a minute or two.
Ger's master was an absolute genius. His cultivation speed was top notch that only few in existence could compare with. He spent less than half a month in the Foundation Realm! So having one week of battle experience means he spent half his time in the Foundation Realm, just fighting!
One minutes later, the door of the hall opened and Avren walked out. His appearance didn’t change but his aura had drastically changed.
He spent an entire week in continuous fighting. His somewhat naive look disappeared, replaced with a look of a trained warrior!

In his eyes, there was a spark that never existed before. It was his fighting spirit!
On the third day, Avren's fear of battle completely disappeared. He started to enjoy the battles little by little. In the last day, he could remember all the movement patterns and fighting techniques he used. Not just in his mind but his body as well!
Witnessing Avren's change, Ger couldn’t help but revaluate him in his mind. ‘Humph! If you were any worse, All my master’s efforts would be wasted on you.’ Of course he didn’t say that out loud.
Avren began to stretch his body and try some of the moves he learnt. Then he looked at Ger and said: “I want to enter again!”
Ger's eyes sparkled and said: “ Very good. You may enter as much as you want. But remember, every time you enter it will be a burden on your mind. So don’t forget to rest when you’re tired.”
Avren looked at Ger strangely. ‘Since when did this guy care?’ The change of attitude made him puzzled. But he stopped thinking about it and walked into the Hall again.
...............................
At the same time that Avren was in the Martial Training Hall.
Above the building next to the appartment where the Kleitos family lived, A man was sitting at the edge of the building. He was wearing full black clothes. Even his shoes and gloves were black.
This man was Vidar who was ordered by the hospital manager to watch Avren.
The man was staring at Avren's room through the window. He saw Avren sitting cross-legged on the bed and was startled.
“What the...? This posture... This kid is a cultivator? But why can’t I sense any Qi from him?” The man was clearly surprised but puzzled at the same time.
He was also a powerful cultivator at the peak Foundation Realm. He was trained by the clan head since young. His talent was quite good among his peers. After all, peak Foundation Realm at the age of 29 was considered a genius.

But he couldn’t sense any Qi from the man -who seems to be 20 years old- sitting cross-legged in the room below! There’re only two explanations: One, that Avren wasn’t a cultivator and was just imitating that posture. Two, Avren’s cultivation was higher than him!
But how could this be possible?! A Master? And a 20-year-old one at that?!
But how could he know that Avren's cultivation was special? He wouldn’t be able to detect that mysterious energy even if he was at Spirit Realm! Or maybe even higher!
“It seems that the clan head's suspicion was spot on. Mmm should I report this, or watch him for a while?” After thinking for a moment, Vidar made up his mind to stay for a little longer.
............................
Inside the Palace.
Ger has detected Vidar the moment he came. But he decided not to disturb Avren.
‘That insect isn’t a threat at all.’ Ger was also curious to see how Avren would handle that guy.
After a while, the door of the Martial training hall opened and Avren walked out.
That was the third time he entered the hall. Right now, he gave off the impression of a veteran soldier. And his eyes contained a hint of killing intent!
Three weeks of continuous battle. He killed many people and monsters over and over again. It was natural to develop some killing intent.
Ger was curled his lips and said: “tsk, I didn’t expect you to have such frightening comprehension ability. Compared to before entering the Martial Training Hall, you look more reliable right now. Good, my esteemed self is very pleased with your progress.”
When Avren heard his words, he wasn’t angry at all. He smiled and said: “It seems you decided to accept me now. Good! I'll be in your care in the future, Ger!”
Ger frowned and said: “Who said I accepted you? This esteemed one only acknowledged your talent! Besides even if I don’t accept you, I still have to fulfil my master’s wish of guiding you. So, don’t worry about it.”
Avren shook his head and sighed. “It makes sense for you to hate me. But I am still grateful for your guidance. I hope we can work things out in the future.”
Ger gaze at Avren silently for a moment then looked away. “You have entered the Martial Training Hall 3 times consecutively. Go and rest. But before that, there’s something I wanted to tell you.”
“Other cultivators absorb the Qi from the outside world into their Dantian. But you are different. Your Qi, the mysterious energy, is emitted continuously from the core inside your Dantian.”
Avren already knew this but he didn’t know what Ger wanted to say.
“Your cultivation speed is already scary even without you actually cultivating. But if you’re able to make that mysterious core emit more energy, your cultivation speed will be even more terrifying.” Ger said while looking Avren.
Avren was surprised. He never thought about this matter. Actually, he thought that there's no need to think about it considering his current cultivation speed.
“I know what you’re thinking. But keep in mind, it’s not just Earth you should be worrying about!” Ger said solemnly. “You should go now.”
Avren frowned a little. What did Ger mean by it’s not just Earth I should be worrying about? Well, I believe he will tell me when the time comes. He smiled at Ger and said: “Thank you, Ger!”
“Humph! Get lost already! And try to come up with a name for that energy within you. You can’t just keep calling it mysterious energy!” Ger waved his hand and Avren found himself standing outside the palace.

Embers in the Ash
Four ordinary young people from four corners of the Earth wake up on a hill in another world. Here, their very presence is a crime against the Gods. On the fringes of civilization, life is often brief and always violent, but in the Empire's Heartland, implacable hunters seek to rectify their blasphemous existence with Blade and Fire. To return home, they will need to adapt to a place where their life will be earned in steel. But what will they be ready to sacrifice for their goal? Will their flame flicker out like so many others before them? Or will they thrive as Embers in the Ash? Hello, and welcome to my first fiction on this site! Embers in the Ash is an epic fantasy adventure story that aims to span quite a few chapters (I hope!). To set expectations, this isn't going to be a LitRPG or power fantasy-style story. I'm aiming for a fairly grounded story set in a fairly high-fantasy world. I hope you enjoy it! For this first month of publication, my aim is to give you, the reader, something to really bite into. I will be releasing a chapter every day at 9:15 AM EST (13:15 GMT), as well as the occasional double chapter (which will always be announced by a post-chapter author blurb). Check in fifteen minutes after the first chapter's release! After this first month of publication, the aim is to go for either a weekly or bi-weekly release schedule, depending on the sort of time I can reliably dedicate to writing. Either way, settle in for the long haul, and welcome to the story!

Within the game world, he'll have to avoid being 'flagged' by the game world's emotionless AI, befriend the players, escape NPC power struggles, and survive countless near-death experiences...All while forging himself into a new person. -------------- Time, and time again features a weak-to-strong MC who will eventually obtain nearly godlike strength, a heavy dose of character development, moderate LITRPG elements, and a whole lotta' adventure. The story is mainly focused around the MC but contains recurring side characters, mysterious and powerful figures, handfuls of intrigue, and well thought out action plots.
