《Outlaw Teens》Chapter 14

"Come out of the house and surrender yourself. We have surrounded you." The police shouted on the megaphone.
Suddenly, a sports car landed in front of police vehicles. It was silver in colour with a sleek design and a round body. The thrusters at the bottom were more powerful than anything the police had ever even seen. It had a spoiler and flame decals too.
"Stand back, sir. This is a crime scene." The police warned the owner of the car.
In response, the car started its engine and drove straight towards the house. Once it was close to the wall of the house, the car fired a grenade at it, destroying the wall.
The car blasted its way to the hidden passage that led to the vault.
"Need a ride?" a voice came from the car when it stopped behind Billy and Drew who were stealing all the money from the vault.
"Andy? Is that your secret weapon?" Drew asked.
"It is. Get everyone inside. Apply these bandages on Zack and Bogart. Here's something for Judy." Andy tossed him bandages and a disk-shaped gadget - The same one Zack had used on Drew when they met first to remove the effect of Stunner.
Applying the bandage was enough to get Bogart and Zack moving. However, even after removing the effect of Stunner from Judy and applying a bandage on her back, she still seemed to be in a bad condition.
"What is this car?" Zack asked as Bogart urged him to enter it.
"I'll tell you later. We need to go now." Bogart said as he dragged Zack inside the car.
The car had enough space for all six of them to fit inside it. As soon as everyone was inside, Bogart started the car.

Andy passed his car through the trail of destruction he had created earlier until they were outside the house, exposing themselves to the military vehicles and the mixed army of AI and human soldiers.
The soldiers wasted no time in firing at the car. However, the bullets simply bounced off the body of the car.
"What the hell is this car?" Zack exclaimed.
"The best invention of Ava yet." Bogart replied.
"Ava?" Drew asked, "B-But she never told me about it."
"She wasn't allowed to tell it to anybody, not even Zack. This was supposed to be a top-secret. We managed to escape Jim's ambush only because of this car. " Bogart stated.
"But what material is this car made of?" Drew asked.
"Veranium" Bogart replied.
"That's impossible. Veranium is too heavy to be used for a car." Drew declared.
"Not when you mix it with Kerb. It makes it even more stronger and lighter. Adding Kerb also adds shine to the car." Bogart explained.
Military helicopters started chasing them as Andy flew the car as fast as he could.
"Does this car have guns?" Zack asked.
"Of course it does." Andy punched a button and a machine gun came out from the rear of the car.
"You want to fire this gun?" Bogart asked.
"Of course I do!" Zack exclaimed as he eyed the gun the same way a kid did to toys.
Andy pressed a few buttons on the car screen and soon Zack's phone was granted access to the machine gun.
"Now this will be awesome!" Zack cried as he enlarged his phone's projection which was displaying the rear view of the car.
With his phone, he aimed the machine guns at the helicopter and started firing at them.

"This is just like a video game!" Zack shouted.
Within a few minutes, all the helicopters had exploded, unable to survive the heavy firing Zack had triggered upon them.
"Are we safe now?" Billy asked.
"I don't think they'll give up so soon." Drew said.
As if on the cue, more helicopters appeared from all directions, surrounding their car from everywhere.
"I know these helicopters." Drew said, "I read an article about them only a few months ago. If the helicopters can actually do what the article said the could, we are doomed."

Beyond The Game (Abandoned)
Kaine sighed as his foe advanced once more, never letting up, barely giving him time to breathe. He pressed forward as well, excited and ready, welcoming the bloodshed that was to come. His short blade, meeting the bestial warrior's bone-made longsword. Their weapons clattering sound into each of their ears when they clashed. Kaine pushed, as did his foe, beginning the contest of strength. A dance which Kaine controlled the steps of. As their eyes met, both of them weary, but Kaine's expression was resolved...maddened almost. Whilst his foe's was fear-struck, the creature was terrified down to its core. As were its comrades which surrounded them, watching, waiting for an opening to have at Kaine themselves. Seeing many...but they faltered, as the dead had seen the same openings before. Their battered, broken and still freshly bleeding bodies laying sprawled about their surroundings. It is just one... One of them thought in shaken disbelief. Just...Just one man but he kills so many...smiling even! Glancing from the dead, and back at Kaine as he slew another. No...this is no man... Was its panicked conclusion. This one's a monster! As Kaine turned to face it, weapon ready and grinning widely throughout his approach.

Campaign: A Project Starfarer Sidestory
This novel’s lore, story and characters are entirely fictitious. Certain long-standing countries, institutions, organizations, agencies, and public offices are mentioned, but their histories and the characters involved are wholly imaginary. "What will you do with your freedom?"Growing up in a meritocracy, infamous for being lawless, Jordan Astros had been repeatedly asked this question, since times unmemorable. In a society where one's accomplishments and skills were tallied and ranked in order to determine one's standard of living however, Jordan quickly grew to understand that 'freedom,' was a reward earned by accumulating Merit. And so, after his 17th birthday, Jordan departed his Clan's habitat in orbit of Europa to embark on his century-long journey to rise from E-Ranker to S-Rank. And spread his name throughout the Galilean Powers. *** Campaign is a sidestory within its NanoPunk parent series, Project Starfarer. (Yet to be published. Be on the lookout for it!) In which the first transhuman known to humanity, the Starfarer, invokes a plan to seed terrestrial life throughout the galaxy. Campaign takes place around the middle of that timeline and explores the life of a key figure in that universe, Jordan Astros. And explores one of four great nations thriving in the Solar System during that time. A Meritocracy that spans Jupiter and its 79 moons, The Galilean Powers. What you'll find in Campaign: Brutal melee combat in airless and pressurized low gravity environments. A technology based progression system influenced by merit and accomplishments; using tech that's theoretically possible to exist in the near-future. An exploratory perspective of the dozens of Galilean societies, or 'Powers,' from Jordans; and sometimes others', POV. What you wont find: Romance. Harems. An MC who receives shortcuts, handouts, learns things unnaturally fast or has OP plot armor. Jordan is not a special individual. Jordan is not OP and he likely never will be. He's no different than any other citizen in the Galilean Powers and will certainly face as many defeats as he does wins. He'll suffer losses and grow as an individual, while the Powers evolves around him as well. This is semi-hard sci-fi/NanoPunk and takes place in a fictional version of our future solar system. Centered around technology that's plausible in the near-centuries to come. Everything abides by the laws of physics/thermodynamics (As best that I understand them, at least. I'm no scientist.) No artificial gravity, inertial dampeners, teleportation, FTL, or hand-wavy materials will be found in the Project Starfarer universe. Just advanced automation, nanotechnology, cybernetics and AI. Set in the backdrop of space. *I do not own the photo used for the cover*
