They both started to look around them, but only saw people confused, just as them, or running around with seemingly no aim at all.
"Hey Itaka."
"Huh?" He looked at him questioningly.
"Did you notice that everyone, including us, has almost the exact same clothes."
Kyaga was right, almost everyone around them wore the exact same outfit: black leather boots, brown pants, a white t-shirt, and a brown, medieval-looking vest.
"Yeah." Said Itaka, almost as if it was the most normal thing ever.
'What could all of this mean!?' Asked Kyaga himself. 'Is this a dream, or what?'
Kyaga pinched himself to make sure he wasn't just to be sure. "Ouch!"
Itaka looked over to him. "What are you doing?"
"Oh, Uhh… Nothing." Kyaga said while scratching his head. "You've got any plans Itaka?"
Itaka looked away skeptical and thought for a few seconds.
"Maybe we can find out a bit more where exactly we are and how big this place is, because standing here will most certainly not achieve anything."
"Good idea, we should maybe seek out a high building to get a good view."
"Yeah, we should have quite a good view from up there." Itaka pointed to the only high building that stood out from all the others, a church nearby. "Let's go fast."
They both ran towards it, trying to avoid any people. You could hear some cry and some screaming out names, seemingly searching for people. Some were standing together in groups, while others just stood there alone, or ran in any direction.
After the quick, but tough run they both took a breath, and entered the medieval, and magnificent church. The doors were heavy but still pushed open easily. With a loud bang from the doors a big, wide room, with at least 50 benches, a majestic altar, and countless, impressive and beautiful painting on the walls and on the ceiling opened for them.

Itaka and Kanagaki marveled but quickly regained their consciousness.
"No time to waste Kyaga, we got to go."
"Yeah, you're right."
They quickly spotted the staircase which let up to the clock tower. They were just about to take the first step when they heard a loud noise behind them and twitched.
It was the door that opened and revealed a silhouette. They couldn't really make out the outlines of whoever just entered the church, because the light-flooded in from behind the person.
But once it closed, they could make it out very fast. "Shizuka!" Screamed Kyaga as he and Itaka ran towards her.
"Kyaga, Itaka. Is it you guys!?" She said more than happy.
Kyaga and her hugged deep and they didn't let go for at least ten seconds.
"What a relief that we found you." Said Kyaga worried.
"Yeah, I'm so happy." Shizuka was almost crying now.
"Are you okay?" Asked Itaka. "Did anything happen?"
"No, not really. I was just really scared." To see Shizuka, who never was a very emotional person, but rather a brave and happy person, or at least not in the game, almost crying was a shock for both Itaka and Kyaga. "Do you have any idea what's going on?"
"No, not really, we wanted to check on the tower to get a better view and maybe find out something." Said Itaka.
"That's why I got here too, at least we are smart, huh?" She said a bit ironic and they all had a small laugh.
"Is it okay if we leave you here for a few moments, in case Kanagaki has the same idea as us? Me and Itaka will go up real quick."
"Yeah, that's okay, I will be fine."

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
