Chapter 3 - Getting used to the city
I never thought I'd ever see something as beautiful as this, It's a real fantasy city!. Just from looking at it you can feel and sense that this city has had a long history, With its loud citizens talking on the streets, Dents on the walls, And its overall feel to it.
As I was walking through the streets I saw something good that caught my interest, Getting closer I finally found out what it was, Its an arm crossbow; a simple contraption but extremely useful, I got closer and prepared to talk.
"Hey, This thing here how much does it cost?" I asked while pointing to the thing.
"Ah, An arm bow. It is really cheap. since I never saw you before I guess I'll give you a discount! how about 3 silver? You'd never get a deal better than this."The Shopkeeper said
"Mmmm, 3 Silver eh, I guess its good enough," I said while my fingers were on my chin, it's my thinking pose
Honestly, I don't know if I'm being scammed right now but it doesn't matter if I ran out of money I can just steal some from any rich looking guy I see anyway.
I handed the 3 Silver to the shopkeeper and took the Armbow and quickly put it on my left arm. At least now I have something I can use to defend myself in the case of an attack.
Walking through the streets I noticed something, People are looking at me weird then quickly turning away, and I hate it. Now that I think about looking at me, My clothes do seem weird it's still the same green and black tracksuit I had when I got transported to this world.
Well, I still have 7 silver coins so I think I can get some new clothes for myself, Plus it's almost nighttime, And I think it's going to get cold soon.

After strolling around for 10 minutes I finally found a shop that sells clothing, I counted my money and head straight in.
"Hello sir, how can i help you," Said the young man standing behind the counter.
"Ah, I just need some normal clothes and that's basically it,"I said to the young man.
"Oh is that it sir? Well please come right here we got a set of some shirt and some pants for only a silver." He said cheeringly.
I followed him into an empty aisle and looked at the clothes that he's recommending, Mmm not bad looks simple and normal.
"I'll take it,"I said as I picked up the clothes and tossed the 1 silver to the man.
"Thanks for shopping here at our shop! if you need anything else just come again." The young man said as he returned to his counter.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I walked out of the shop. Now what I need to do is find a hotel or tavern that I can stay in for the time being.
As i was walking by i saw two big men and a girl in front of them.
"Come on now, we don't want any trouble. Just give us the gold you stole and we can all forget this all happened" One of the big men said as she looked down at the girl.
"Please! I'm telling you I don't know what you're talking about!" The girl said innocently
"Enough of this, Looks like you just won't just stand by while the thief that stole my money is standing in front of me," The other big men said as got a knife from his sling bag.
Oh fuck, he's going to stab that girl!
'Time stop' I said in my head as I hurried towards the man

I quickly took the knife from the man's hand and threw it across the street as far as i could.

Then I punched the man in the stomach and face as much I could before the Skill ended.

I stood with my back in front of the girl looking like a knight in shining armor, While the man fell down on his knees.
"Bluuurgh" Was the sound the man made as he puked on the ground.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BROTHER!" The other man said as he aimed his right fist at my face, thrusting it quickly
I swiftly ducked and grabbed his arm, and did a judo press throw...
"Why? Why are you helping that thief?" The man on his knees asked.
"Thief? All I see is two big men ganging up on a lone girl" I said while I did a small grin.
As I said that I see some guards rushing towards us,'Well at least I saved a girl today' I thought to myself while I looked behind me.
Shit, she's gone.

I'm still writing the entirety of Volume 2. WARNINGS:-Yes, this contains LitRPG elements after a slow start, promise.-This work is incredibly Slice-of-Life heavy-Also conversation heavy-Also plot heavy (But not in that way, unfortunately)-The pacing in terms of plot is slow -(Edit after a review)- This story is also known as: I honestly don't understand what's the difference between "light" and "dark" stories. I realized that far too late, so this story is... weird. It might be light at times, and dark at times, and in all honesty, definitely has dark undertones. Oh, and prepare to be disappointed or pleased by this story; I understand that this story is polarizing, at least. Cover made by: Fei (@Chippy03966650) / Twitter

Gracie
Good girl, Skyli Bell, and rebel, Wyatt Cook, were neighbors. Nothing more nothing less. That was until a scared girl dropped a baby off at Skyli's doorstep. Now the two have to work together to take care of the little bundle of joy secretly.~"So let me get this straight: your super hot goodie two-shoes neighbor brought over a baby that is not hers and asks you to help her take care of her... and you agreed. But the baby belongs to some random girl who just left her with Sky," he asked. I nodded. He shook his head and puffed out a breath. "And now Sky is practically living in your house and you two are raising a baby together, but you have no interest in her whatsoever?" he asked. I nodded. "Exactly." Davis sighed and rolled his eyes before he was leaning forward with his hands pressed against the table. "This is going to get really screwy, really fast, Wyatt," Davis warned me.
