The buses stopped at an entry gate which was one of many where basic documentation was being checked. Zhang was currently in one of the three buses for his high school, the one in which none of the leads were in, only the other ‘Zhang Fei’ whose body he was supposed to transmigrate into was in his bus. The other Zhang fei was a supporting character in the story where he died while protecting the female lead. Wait if a guy like that is a mere supporting character, then what am I, a background extra? Zhang Fei frowned when he thought about this because the role of most background extras was just…..to be the background in the different scenes and in this story his character was a background character as well although he would be a dead body in the scenes rather than being a living extra.

“Hey fang ning, that was a really amazing idea for a novel, I really loved it, where did you get it from?” the fat kid whose name was Yun long said with amazed expression. When Zhang Fei woke up from his ‘sleep’ he decided to chat with the fellow book enthusiast about different novel and the both hit it off really well. They talked about different novels and different ideas. Basically it was an all you can talk session about stories and web novels where they both shared their thoughts and ideas.

Zhang Fei smirked as he tapped the side of his head and said, “From here, everyone has ideas, they just need to act on them.”

“Yeah you are right, but I have a question although the idea about your story is really good isn’t kind of…….sadistic?”

Zhang Fei looked at him with a confused expression, “Sadistic? No no, No it isn’t sadistic, it is just realistic.”

Yun long scratched his head and replied back, “But in your story the lead destroys everything”

Zhang Fei sighed and tried to explain the story to the confused kid, “Well look at this way, he had power, and power corrupts and the corruption lead to him losing his sanity and destroying the world along with everyone in it in a horrible way”

“Yeah but why didn’t he use his power for the good of mankind?”

“Because that’s boring.” Zhang Fei replied in a manner that stated the obvious.

“…”

[…] yeah okay but why did they all have to die in a horrible way? Coco thought as he heard after listening to Zhang Fei reasoning. He had to admit that his host had a good idea but he couldn’t understand why the lead had to kill everyone so brutally.

The buses entered through the gate and started travelling on the road into the island. As they passed through they could see a lot of hotels and restaurants everywhere on the island and there weren’t just these places, there were all kinds of places for entertainment, an amusement park, pubs, bars, fighting rings, operas, sports fields etc. It was a whole package of entertainment packed into one. They stopped in front of a fancy looking hotel and parked the bus. The teacher went outside and told the students to wait before they sorted the rooms for everyone. The students started filing out of the bus and started chatting about where they would hang out for the one week.

Zhang Fei was also free for one week, the gate to the other realm would be opened on the eve of the official opening ceremony, until then he was free to do whatever he wanted.

“So Fang ning where do you want to go once we get our rooms? I heard there is going to be a gathering for all the school students set up by the some of the seniors, do you want to go there?”

Before Zhang Fei could reply a heavy bag came flying and hit Zhang Fei on the back of his head. His head went forward and his glasses fell off again. Why do I feel like the head of this extra is fated to be struck by flying objects.

“Hey four eyes carry my bag, or else I will use you as a punching bag again.” Zhang fei turned around with an annoyed expression and looked at the person who was testing his patience. There was a beautiful girl with short hair and wore a skirt. She had fair skin and had really bright eyes and had a mischievious smile on her face. She was also one of the beauties of his school and unfortunately she was also his neighbor. The real problem with her was that she had a slightly tomboyish personality and was really brutal. She was a girl who preferred to use her fists to talk instead of well you know talking normally. Also she had an inflated ego and superiorty complex. And hence since he was so ‘close’ to her and was her neighbor, the orginial body was appointed as her errand boy. Zhang Fei shook his head in disappointment. What kind of a wimp becomes an errand boy for a girl.

“Well what are you waiting for? Aren’t you going to pick it up?” Nie chenyu asked as she crossed her arms across her chest and started tapping the ground with her toes as she arched her brow.

Zhang fei had a dead pan expression as he replied, “No.”

“huh? What did you say?” Nie Chenyu said with a confused expression, since when did her friendly neighborhood nerd turn so bold. Did I hit his head really hard last time or something?

“I said no, but I would have said yes if you were a little pleasing to the eye.”

“You punk, did you forget what happened to you last time!?” Nie chenyu fumed in anger as she pulled up her sleeves and marched forward to give Zhang Fei a pummeling. No girl could stand someone talking bad about their looks especially a girl like Nie Chenyu who didn’t hide her anger but rather used it as a driving force to beat the shit out of the insulting party. Zhang Fei smiled as the girl approached him and swung her fist forward. Zhang fei turned to the side dodging the fist and put his foot forward. Nie Chenyu couldn’t stop her momentum and was tripped by Zhang Fei’s foot. She lost her balance and saw how her face was going to meet the hard ground. She was still a girl after all and hence got flustered and closed her eyes in fright and waited for the impacted. But strangely enough she didn’t fall, when she opened her eyes she found herself in the embrace of the person who she wanted to give a good beating to.

He held her from her waist stopped her from falling. Both of them were in a leaning position but the girl didn’t notice it all as she was still processing what happened. Zhang fei gave a calm smile and said in a calm voice as his face came only inches away from her face, “But you know good looks aren’t everything, I would have said yes if you had asked just a bit nicely.”

Coco scoffed at Zhang Fei’s comment .pfft right, the probability of you dying from lightning again is more higher than you saying yes to being someone’s errand boy.

Nie Chenyu was someone of high pride and also had real brutal personality so although she was a beauty, boys usually didn’t approach her because most were afraid of her and those that did, came back with traumas. So this was the first time she was this close to a boy. Nie Chenyu face started becoming red as she looked at Zhang Fei’s face at such close proximity.

[wow host who knew you could be so romantic] Before Coco could continue with his ramblings, Zhang fei let go of the girl as she landed on her bum.

(-_-)[ Never mind I was wrong] Coco thought that something might really be wrong with his cricuits if he thought that his host could be romantic, sheesh if that day ever came then that would be the day when Zhang Fei would be replaced by an imposter.

“Ouch, that hurt” Nie Chenyu pouted and complained

“yeah I know, that’s why I dropped you.”

“hmph, jerk”

“Takes one to no one” Zhang fei said as he walked away.

Yun long came forward and patted Zhang Fei on the back, “Wow bro that was amazing”

Zhang Fei smirked and said nothing as he went forward to pick up his own back and went forward towards his assigned room after the teacher started grouping the students into different rooms.

[So host, is she also a chess piece?]

Nie Chenyu. She was one of the four people of the original group that was supposed to survive through the night of the sacrifice but because of the female leads missing halo she along with the whole group died. Zhang Fei smirked at Coco’s comment. “Seems you aren’t totally clueless”

[hmph, of course not, I’m only partially clueless] wait that doesn’t sound right either.

“you see the original group of four in the original story had only made it out alive because they worked together, out of all the people I can group up with they are the most competent ones because they were some of the few that made it through the night. If I need some meat shields, it would be better if they were at least useful and the original group do fit that role.”

[And why were you pissing the girl off, shouldn’t you be on her good side]

“She is a proud person, she may pose a problem later on with her stubborn attitude so I plan bring her down a peg or two. Befriending her with that huge ego of hers is a huge hassle, so it’s best to just make that ego of hers shatter”

[How?] Coco prayed that it wasn’t the something similar like Xia ruo, where he corrupts another flower with darkness.

“How else? I’ll just have to make her lose against me a couple of times and she will learn her place”

Coco sighed in relief, he didn’t want to leave an additional Zhang Fei in every world that he visited or else the upper management wouldn’t just trap him a box for a million years based on the potential ‘a Zhang Fei’ has to cause chaos in a world.

[that’s all good and well host but you know there is another problem right now, you are really pathetically weak, I could even see your hands shuddering when you were holding Nie chenyu and according to my calculations she is very light, it’s a good thing she didn’t notice that you don’t even have the strength to truss a chicken.] Coco thought even if Zhang Fei wanted to be be the one protecting the female lead based on the physical condition of his, it would be the female lead protecting him instead.

“…” Coco was right, although the body was agile but it didn’t have an ounce of muscle strength. If he didn’t have sufficient strength then he would be even more useless than the typical female in distress on the night of the sacrifice. But luckily he had a solution

“It’s okay, I can just use the ancient strengthening pill” Coco nodded in agreement to Zhang Fei reply, the pill was really high in quality and since he was so weak the effect would be great too. Zhang Fei spent the rest of the day in his room after talking to yun long for a while and then ate the ancient strengthening pill. The pill would slowly strengthen his body and mold it. Although he couldn’t tell the effect right away, according to Coco real time analysis the effects of the pill were already showing. Coco told him that his strength would multiply over the following week and by the night of the sacrifice he would be have the strength to flip over a car with a single hand.

When night came he went outside his rooms to go check out the rest of the leads.
