《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 23

"I didn’t kill Haq.” Mike's words echoed inside everyone's heads.
This was the answer what Camshron had required for a long time. All the things talked by Mike were recorded by CCTV camera in the room.
He, at last, got the answer- Mike's mind was filled with the thoughts that he had killed Haq. He regarded this as a truth as like had he had killed him by his own hands but he was wrong. He had beaten lie detector because he believed murder the truth.
Hence his nervous activities were automatically super relaxed as he was telling the truth. It couldn’t even detect a single lie due to his nervous relaxation. Culprit had planned everything with full accuracy but hadn’t thought the trigger can come at any time out of nowhere.
Real culprit wanted the trigger to be hidden until Mike gets in the jail.
After the imprisonment, coming of trigger wouldn’t mind him. Camshron deducted, attack near Navy on Lorgé, the scandal or discussions about Norton, creation of CIA's internal conflicts, appearance and confession by Mike. He thought for a minute and said, "So, culprit, maybe Bob planned everything to show Norton as a person who had hired Mike to finish Haq…"
Camshron whispered to himself, "So whoever this Bob is, knows a mentalist, knows about papers of Haq, his bad relations with Lorgé and made this plot betraying everyone in his way."
"I don’t know Camshron, I had met him all of a sudden." said Mike in weak way drinking a glass of water.
"So you're sure Bob is the real culprit?"
"I can't conclude. He might also be someone's right hand."
Camshron thought for a while for a question, "If Mike's confession was as per the plan then why the hell someone is in the mood of killing him?"

Asking Mike this question was worthless. It was probably because the plan was going to face failure or was Bob in the mood of killing him? It was also possible that he was getting very near to the culprit. If then, Lorgé seems not connected with this murder in any condition from any prospect of investigation. Then why was he trying to execute Lorgé? He must not have been having somehow a connection with Bob, Mike or anyone.
This all was converting into more and more confusions for Detective Camshron. There was not any concrete decision for which Mike deserved to be believed by them. It was also possible all those events were unreal and put in his mind to confuse everyone.
More than anything else attack on Lorgé was peculiar. Why was Bob ordering Mike to kill Lorgé? Bob had nothing to do with him.
He thought and made logic, then said to himself as usual, "Is Lorgé a danger for Bob or culprit because Lorgé was searching for the papers betrayed by Haq. The papers are gone anyway. There's nothing left as papers other rgab absent note from Afghanistan. Is the papers a reason for connection of Lorgé with this murder?"
"Nathan, let's leave him alone. We should shift him to another room." interrupted the doctor, who was examining Mike's blood pressure, heartbeat rate and sugar level.
After few stressful minutes the doctor said, "He needs well mental rest. Mr. Camshron, would you mind if I suggest you to shift him to a maximum security mental hospital?"
Camshron answered in a dilemma, "No Doc. Try to understand, he has just escaped an attack. It is far better if he goes on crazier than lying inside a coffin."
"Your opinion Mike?"
"A cup of coffee."

The decision by Mike was unsatisfactory for the doctor but who cared doctor in the middle of these? CIA needed to be cold, for this matter. Mr. Fernsby along with Mr. Vinci, suspected the murder case of Dr. Jones was also connected with Bob. But nobody knew who the hell Bob was.
On the other hand, why would Bob want to kill many people and trap a colonel? Still, Camshron doubted him. Whole day he had been walking in his room searching for logic. Camshron thought- If colonel has nothing to do with Haq then why would he try to show him as a person who hired Mike? And what the hell has connected with Haq and Bob?
