《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 30

Camshron could hear people saying what could happen. He could hear people around him breathing, "This man is the killer. This man is going to be hanged soon."
What could it feel like when a colonel's face is on the newspaper's lifeless and his execution would be shown even from CNN?
Nathan Camshron could feel the sensation of hearing the indirect death sentence by a judge.
The moment was never far when the judge could spell death sentence. For now Norton had to expect this as the death penalty. No pending matter…no political background and no extra appealing. What could the helpless lawyer get at least something to defend his client within a week? This matter was just adjourned for a week because judge himself knew how much powerful Norton was. He was well aware how such powerful people can make every un-existing matter of proof into the real one. This was compulsion.
Judge again hammered, but who cared? The room got noisier in a moment.
"Your honor, please extend this case for proof. Oh! Leave proofs but for humanity or sympathy…" the lawyer was pleading his best, but it did not matter.
Camshron couldn’t stand watching all of these in front of his eyes. He knew well what those muscular cops could do to find out about Bob and Walker. Torture was the only thing left to enter inside the truth."
"Sorry Mr. Norton." the lawyer turned up at him at jury box.
Norton was grabbed by some heavy cops and it took them no time for them as well to handcuff him. Lawyer was yelling, "Don’t worry Mr. Norton, I will appeal for the extension of this case. You will soon be out of this."
Camshron saw Colonel Norton being dragged by those cops.
He got out of his seat and started walking towards Norton, who was now just near to the exit door.

Camshron's eyes locked with Norton's. Norton spotted doubtful shame in his eyes.
Camshron noticed something else – wrath.
Lawyer was loud, "Camshron, you think you did everything right huh?" Angry lawyer shoved Camshron.
The push was forceful.
He almost got bumped on a cop. This was also among reasons why Camshron was still very silent. Nobody cared about Camshron Vs Lawyer right there.
He was stiff.
He didn’t talk to any media cameras. He saw Norton being put in the police van with a massive crowd to film and watch all these things happening.
"Detective Nathan Camshron you just found out the culprit. What's your feeling right now?" a reporter asked and soon a dozen of them appeared.
Camshron walked by, pushing everyone coming in his way.
"Detective Camshron…Haq's murderer…Bob…Walker…"
JUST SHUT UP!
He however, controlled himself from bellowing. This all cause had happened in a sudden way, just four days after Walker's point. Norton got no time to understand why he was taken with such dead seriousness.
He did not know how to defend himself.
Every agency was willing for the judge to give him a great punishment. Capital punishment was very possible even he appeals to the president.
Camshron saw MPD head- Mr. Meredink and his senior - Mr. Fernsby having good chats and started shaking hands with each other.
"Camshron, take a picture please." demanded the MPD head like a teenager, neglecting Mr. Vinci, who was near to him.
As Mr. Vinci passed to somewhere then Camshron said, "Sir, it's not time for celebration. Not here."
"Yes Nathan, it's not time. I am thinking to hold a tea party only for the CIA officials-" Mr. Fernsby was saying in satisfied manner.
"Can we just come aside?" Camshron interrupted.
"What?"
"I mean aside. Far from the cameras."

Mr. Meredink did not know about it at all. So did Mr. Fernsby. Camshron was a very mysterious man and he could do anything to catch the culprit. He could take any risk at any level.
But had he once more taken such a massive risk?
They soon emerged in a silent place of Supreme Court where jus four or five people were busy in hovering around without taking interest in anyone's matter.
"What's wrong with you, Nathan?" Mr. Fernsby rose his eyebrows wondering what earth shattering thing detective was going to say, "Bob will soon be in our clutches. We will definitely find the crazy man. So we don’t need to take this matter seriously as you are taking this right now."
"I feel sorry."
"I share the same feeling, Norton. Was this all necessary for him to do this? He had everything money, fame, prestige and many mo-"
"I'm sorry!" Camshron was now pleading to him like he was the killer.
"What the hell has happened to you, Camshron? Haven't seen your face lit up." Mr. Meredink was observing his feelings as well as his face.
"I think this all is getting worse. Worse! Worse! Worse! I have taken a huge risk. If the risk was only on me, then this all was okay, but it will harm another man. Innocent man!"
"Who is innocent?"
Camshron couldn’t speak because the answer was enough to decrease his respect as well as of the investigators, MPD, Mr. Fernsby as well as Mr. Meredink. More than it the regret would be heart breaking.
He said, at last, ignoring what could be happening next, "Colonel Norton."
Both got devastated by hearing Camshron. For both of them the earth had crashed in sun and the men to be burnt first were them.
Both felt like a huge pyramid had squeezed them for the head, crushing them to the toes. No words were enough to express their rage.
"You fucking detective. You think you are joking? Nathan, don’t you have any sense of responsibility?" Mr. Fernsby was thundering in a rage.
"You think you did, right? You asshole." shouted Mr. Meredink.
"Just stop it. Stop it please." Camshron also bellowed who was not supposed to be. Now he was about to be the center of attention for everyone, "I can explain. Van! Why don’t we talk about this matter in our van?"
"I have listened enough."
"No, sir, just give me a minute. I can clarify all this matter."
"Clarify what?" Mr. Meredink was about to shove him, "You will clarify after Norton gets executed? Hanging off an innocent in this serious matter?"
"Sir-"
"Arrest him first and I will appeal to the President for Colonel Norton's innocence." words slipped from Mr. Fernsby's mouth.
"Arrest whom?"
"Former CIA Detective Nathan Camshron."

Mysteries lay in the world of arcane in spades and Max will be the one to find them with his thirst for knowledge. But will Max find the mysteries that lay in his mind, body, and soul? This book is just for fun and to practice my writing skills. My previous book met me with frustration after sitting for hours in a day trying to get words to come out. It became something that just wasn't fun to me anymore. So here I'm going to try and just have fun writing a story I would have loved to read. If you want to read what I write then be my guest. I love to critique and hope that I can get better through writing this story but I don't know if I will be able to keep a stable upload schedule until I get into the flow of things again.

Force Majeure: A web novel
In the Qursan Empire, the grey walls of the city press down on its subjects. It is a highly divided society which is based on the magical strength of its citizens. While the most powerful are trained as Mages, the majority of citizens use their limited skills with essence to power the city in their assigned jobs. Jano is pretty much the lowest of the low in the Qursan Empire. A Class Ten citizen forced into transitory work after having his power restricted. When he gets the opportunity to change all of that, he takes it with both hands. Please note this is an edited version of my story ‘city of captives’. It follows a similar structure but I’ve ironed out some of the kinks. If you read that version, much of this will be similar though there are some differences. This is a slow burning progression fantasy. Please expect at least two chapters per week. I love writing this story but I do have unfortunate things to deal with like work and life outside of writing. I may be able to write and edit more than that, but it will never be less! If you enjoy this, consider following me on Instagram by just searching Crow J Williams.
