《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 37

Camshron went near to the door of the house and paused for ten seconds of mental preparation. He was ready for the worst of the worst. He gently pushed the door, as he knew the door was open.
He was right.
Camshron got in with his fully loaded pistol in his dangerous grip. Inside was dark-pitch dark. He could feel the pistol's magazine in his left pocket. He turned on the lights.
TOCK!
Whole room was illuminated. It was the same hall where he had made enquiry with Haq's neighbors. Nothing had changed there but was a critical difference- room was cleaner than it used to be. It was clean like cleaned last day. He wouldn’t even mind Haq's ghost was there cleaning the house.
He got surprised.
Was this the result of ultimate pressure on him for a month?
He saw a man packing his bag like Camshron was not there. The man noticed Camshron and his gun, but he did not care just like he was alone in the room.
The man had worn hat, coat and had extremely grown hair and beard. His mustache and beard were hiding part of his face under nose and his hair, his ears and half of his forehead.
Just his eyes were visible.
"Going somewhere, Bob?" Camshron asked the man who seemed to be on his own.
"Very right thing." Bob said, not even bothering to look back at him.
"I'm afraid because the place where you are supposed to go doesn’t need bags to be packed like this."
Bob overheard him.
"It would have been better if you had increased your weight or decreased your height. Such beard does not suit you. I think Dr. Jones didn’t care what was matching for you."
"Hmm…"
"Enough!" Camshron pulled his gun at him, "Surrender yourself!."

Bob instead moved to a couch, turning the cushion.
"Put your hand on back of your head and walk straight." Camshron lost his temper.
Camshron heard a metallic click behind him.
Same sound came from three or four sides.
Camshron found himself at gunpoint of some people.
The scariest was the one behind him.
"I bet you didn’t see me coming." Said the man from behind.
"You are true to your name, Phantom Being." Camshron sighed.
Even though Camshron could pull the trigger and serve justice, he knew if Bob was killed, then there was no way to prove Norton's innocence.
Killing Bob meant killing Norton.
And it would mean a suicide for Nathan Camshron too.
"You didn’t come this far with less knowledge." Phantom Being admired him.
Yet his admiration couldn’t stop Camshron's trembling hand.
"You were interesting to talk about." Said Camshron.
Phantom Being chuckled like a kid.
"You are shorter than me. Definitely not around six and a half feet tall man who somehow had access to MPD information."
"Finish him." Commanded Bob in panic.
Now Bob realized Camshron knew more than he had ever thought.
"Wait!" Phantom Being interrupted him.
"Believe me, you will be caught soon, Phantom Being." Camshron dared to say.
"Does the raid in my place make you this confident?" smirked Phantom Being, "Les didn’t get any lead afterwards."
Camshron couldn’t think of something to praise him.
Come on! Think of something. He is a narcissist psychopath. As long as I make him feel superior, he won't shoot me. Camshron kept thinking but couldn’t come up with any admiration.
The fact that he knew about Les made things worse.
In the other end, Bob could feel what card Camshron was playing on Phantom Being.

Bob was getting more anxious with each passing second.
"I hear you never use same gun twice for murders. Why did you use the gun from which you killed Jones to attack Mike? Why would a great assassin do such a thing?"
"Fix silencers!" Bob commanded to the other men, realizing Camshron was controlling Phantom Being.
"Haha." Phantom Being laughed, "I didn’t kill Jones. As long as I don’t kill someone with a gun, I am okay with using it on anyone."
None of his men could find a silencer around.
"You dumb fuck!" Bob lost his sense, "Shoot this detective."
"I don’t work for you, faggot." Phantom Being darted back but didn’t move his hand from the target.
"Do you really want his command to act?" Bob paused, "Before this you seemed to be a brute, but now you seem nothing more than one man's puppet."
Phantom Being didn’t take it in heart.
He could take nothing which could offend or sadden anyone in his heart.
This was why he was unaffected by music or slurs.
"Give me the gun and I will shoot him." Phantom Being stared at him.
"I am searching. Don’t you see?" Bob spread his arms.
"You won't find the gun." Camshron said.
Bob looked at him.
"I had been spying on this house for some days. Phantom Being used to come here in your absence in search of a gun. An antique one." continued Camshron.
"So you hid the gun?" Phantom Being's voice changed.
"I took it with me." Camshro said and pulled Phantom Being's arm.
Camshron spun with Phantom being with his fingers pressed on Phantom Being's finger.
The three goons got hit by the bullets.
Bob somehow dodged it, and the bullet went inside the wall.
Bob ran towards a dead guard in order to seize his gun.
He did not care about the noise.
He just wanted Camshron dead.
Phantom Being began strangling Camshron by his arms.
Camshron just wanted the gun to be pointed away from him, so he never left Phantom Being's arms. Instead, he began twisting it to the other side.
Phantom Being was in pain, but Camshron's face was getting purple due to the choke hold.
Camshron kicked his foot on the sofa which pushed him backwards.
Phantom Being's back hit the light switch.
Light turned off.
