On a world with gears reworked into all manner of technology, a fashionable young woman sat in her corseted dress atop a square of cloth she’d spread across the greasy concrete floor of a factory and drank tea. Her name was Desiree, she had long blue hair gathered into voluptuous twin braids, and her bright coloration didn’t match her surroundings. She had a compulsion for leaving odd things in odder places, and had earned the nickname Crazy Dez.
Steam rose from her cup over impeccably cosmeticized lips as she watched the sun tint through the window grime in golden hues.

Not to mention the Arch-Magus who summoned me, mistimed everything, I arrived 300 years too late, after the fall of the Empire I was supposed to save. The surviving remnants have devolved into Murder Hobos. What’s worse is that the Great Devourer, Ancient Calamity, and Spawn from the Void Beyond Time, Space, and Sanity is now aware of a new world to plunder, a world called Dirt! (Told you this translator sucks) Warning Extra Crunchy Authorial Vebosity! Lots of infodump in the early chapters, but I learn my lesson and it does get better, eventually. So my first time writing a story so bear with me . About a mage named Xare and give or take a few thousand years I'm a bit as old as the earth since I've almost literally been around since the world started forming and this is is my recollection of how I got dragged unto the most stupid adventure of all time. Guys ignore the first two chapter 5 the third one is the more or less finished project.
