Some worlds aren’t friendly. Kits tries, but she doesn’t look like most inhabitants, and some worlds treat that as a reason to greet her aggressively. Sometimes Kaia surely gets the same treatment, but not nearly as often or to the extent as Kits. Kits doesn’t have the benefit of shapeshifting, and as a rule she’s not as scrappy as Kaia when it comes to covering terrain with stealth to avoid a confrontation.

This world apparently loved confrontation. A bipedal individual clad in what must’ve been military attire pointed a weapon at Kits.

“Why are you blue?”

“Why are you not?”
