《No Effort Power Fantasy》Ch 10 Right Hand Person

I teleported the group back to MisBay and materialized the alien spaceship for them so princess X and prince Z can go home. They refused and wanted me to come with them. Princess X said she would do anything to get my help and I reminded her to help me with Kyro. She tells me I should just get married to Kyro and everything would be good again.
Wait what! I didn’t want to get married so soon and asked her to give me proper advice in amending my friendship with Kyro. So she told me to just tell Kyro the truth and everything would work out.
Hmmmmm it will probably work because this is advice from a girl after all.
The alien royalty realized that begging wouldn’t work and started offering me extravagant rewards like being a high ranking galactic official of the milky way galaxy. All of those extra perks and rewards sound like too much work and I rather chill and play ps5 with my bat-people so I declined everything. They soon gave up and went to the local bar to drink more beer. The alien princess and prince sure do like to drink away their frustrations.
I had my bat chefs prepare all of Kyro’s favorite dishes for her to eat when she comes home from her mayor duties, but she never came home. In my mind-map, she went to the local bar where princess X and prince Z were still chugging the endless supply of beer. Kyro was extremely mad at her and blamed her for corrupting my mind while princess X was too drunk to even care about what she was even saying. The alien girl was trying to convince Kyro to drink away her problems like she was doing but Kyro grew disgusted and left.
However, she still never went home to the mega-mansion, instead she crashed at a friend’s house for the night. My plans were completely ruined so I dematerialized all of the dishes prepared for her.

The alien royalty tried persuading me again but I simply teleported them far away from me every time they tried to approach me, it worked like a charm. They should learn how to retake the empire themselves without my help. Otherwise, if I keep babysitting everyone, they will only expect me to do even more for them and become extremely entitled to my powers. At least the bat-people and herbivores know how to take care of themselves and rely on me as least as possible.

I was currently playing ps5 in my megamansion while waiting for Kyro to come back home so I can properly reconcile our friendship. I also teleported to Utopia to visit queen Rachel and check on their progress.

It’s been a few days, Kyro will eventually come back right? Her room next to mine was still sitting empty from her presence. Well if she doesn’t want to see me anymore that is completely fine, I will respect her decision. It just means that I might need a new right-hand person, I shouldn’t have chosen a girl to start with, they are too complicated to understand.
I remembered that Mark had a girlfriend so he probably understands how to deal with girls so I went to see him in his locked-up room. Unfortunately, Mark was hyper-focused on completing the ps5 games and didn’t even give me any attention. Only when I dematerialized his hands, he finally noticed me and cried in pain as blood spurted out from his missing hands. I quickly rematerialized back his hands and demanded him to help me out.
He told me that I should go see her and apologize to her. But it felt wrong because I did nothing wrong. Kyro should understand her position as my right-hand person and apologize to me for doing all of this. Mark told me I was an idiot so I punished him by teleporting him to the vacant alien spaceship and ordered him to lick the entire spaceship clean before he can resume his ps5 journey. He prostrated before me and told me that he was all wrong and that I was completely in the right. It’s too late Mark, you reaped what you sow.
Since Kyro was going to actively ignore me, I went to look for a new right-hand person that is a male this time. Queen Rachel is a girl so she wouldn’t work. Walking all over the city of Misbay, there weren't any bat men that stood out and I wasn’t too sure what to look for.
Then, I had the most brilliant idea to make another tournament where only men can join to determine my right-hand man. I teleported to the bat councilors and they quickly implemented my will. The tournament will determine who is the current strongest bat in our city. Kyro stormed into the meeting and asked me if I was replacing her. I obviously told her that I was because I can’t have my right-hand person be this emotionally unstable and she probably didn’t want to be my right-hand person anymore. Kyro cried as she once again ran away from me. It’s definitely not my fault and all of the bat councilors agreed to my opinion.

Except for 1 bat counselor who was good friends with Kyro and was sheltering her at her home. She told me that Kyro truly loved me and she would do anything for me but she thinks that I hate her and don’t want to see her anymore. I was pretty confused because I never hated Kyro. Anyways I told her that the tournament must go on and I will announce it to everyone in MisBay.
All the bat people gathered at the grand coliseum that was materialized. The tournament format was simply a 1 vs 1 match until only 1 victor remained. There were many entrants of bat men joining for a chance to showcase to everyone that they are the strongest. It was pretty damn exciting to see how these bat people fight without my help. All of them were blessed by me to have great strength and speed. The contestants were able to fight all out without worrying about anyone dying because I can just revive them. Although I did tell them that they should surrender before dying in vain.
Of course, I had the best seat at the coliseum on my throne.
All weapons were allowed like swords and guns. As the fights rage on, and the coliseum becomes bloodied from the battles with me cleaning it instantly every time. Broken bones, torn bat wings, and a body almost split into 2, the battles were gruesome. The high-speed flight and mid-air sword brawl or gunfight were incredible to watch. Everyone was capable enough to follow the fast fights with their blessed eyes. Even the bat children were allowed to watch the gruesome battles being fought.
In the finals, there were 2 incredibly powerful bats. One of them was a master of the swords and the other was the master of the guns. They both never gave up fighting and fought to the very end of their life. The swordmaster managed to decapitate his opponent and the gun master was able to use his shotgun to blow out his brain, resulting in both of them dying and it was a draw. I quickly revived both of them so they could fight each other again to break the draw.
In the middle of the final fight round 2. Kyro flew in between them to stop the fight. Just when things were getting good, she had to interrupt the epic moment. I teleported Kyro to sit beside me without giving her a chance to explain herself. She was stunned at my actions and placed her head on my shoulders as we watched the final battle in silence. Once again, the swordmaster and gun master killed each other for another draw. I decided that the tournament shall end in a draw and nobody will become my new right-hand person.
Prince Z showed up in the arena and challenged sword master bat and gun master bat to a 1 vs 2 duel. I gave them my approval to fight. Prince Z shot 2 blue beams from his hand and instantly annihilated his opponents then he demanded me to make him his right-hand person. I was amazed at how strong this prince Z was and even though he didn’t register for the tournament officially, everyone can see how strong he is. He also had a good point and I made Prince Z my new right-hand person. He rejoiced in pure happiness and went to my side.
Kyro who sat beside me was stunned again and thought she was going to remain as my right-hand person. I was pretty confused at Kyro’s actions so I materialized her favorite dishes for her to eat in which she happily accepted. I followed Princess X’s and Queen Rachel’s advice and told her the truth and gave her good food to eat. Kyro nodded to me as she ate. She did apologize for misunderstanding my intentions and thought I hated her. Yet Kyro remained sad. She congratulated me on my new right-hand person and went away.
Mark’s advice was nudging on my mind and I chose to ignore it. It’s not my fault and I shouldn’t have to apologize. Prince Z wanted me to give him my command so I told him to see if Mark had finished licking up their spaceship. He grew concerned and quickly went to the spaceship.
Today was a good day.

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.

A Broken Kingdom
After fighting a diseased ancient silver dragon, Oskar must solve a mystery that leads him halfway across the world in pursuit of answers. This story is based on a character from a tabletop roleplaying game. I realized that I'd spent quite a lot of time planning out his backstory, and decided to go ahead and write some of it down. Then I wrote more, and more, and realized that I had a lot more than any sane RPG player should write about their character...
