Seems like I have gained my third body and made it all the way to level 4 before my now 2 exploring bodies found anything living except plants.

Still not even an ant.

This is very weird there are plants everywhere but no animals.

I would say that maybe some of the plants release some poison that I can’t detect an am immune to due to being a slime.

But that doesn’t explain the absents of other slime.

I even know that it wasn’t always like this.

Shortly before I hit Level 3 I saw a bird nest in a tree.

So why would all animals be gone?

Well if I have nothing better to do.

Maybe I should get a sort of code name for my different bodies.

The one in the burrow will be Hime, frome Hive and slime, because I’m making a base with that one and as a Hive Mind I think it’s only proper to call my home a Hive.

The first Explorer Body will be Voyager because I plan to just have that one travel as far away as possible.

And that leaves the last one.

I’ll call that one Rover, as in always wandering.

I’ll use that one to explore big spaces, like the forest.

Well I guess having names for my bodies is usefull now, there is some weird red bug the size of a dog staring at Rover.

What is that?

I think it looks like a firebug.

But even more red and gigantic.

It suddenly spitts somthing at me.

Who!

What was that?

Was that acid?

Could acid hurt me.

Now it’s making some weird screeching.

Maybe my ears would hurt if I had some.

It suddenly starts running at me.

Unlike with whatever it spat at me I don’t manage to get out of the way.

It crashes with all of its momentum into me.

And I realy thought I would be knocked away.

But no, I’m currently on the head of the beetle.

Can I dissolve it?

Well that was an anticlimactic first fight.

It’s weird Acid spit did almost nothing to me.

That is to say I’m surprised it’s acid even manage to do anything.

It never reached my core but it’s acid destroyed some of my acid.

Were was I?

Oh right, I was at I killed it.

So I couldn’t do anything to its exoskeleton but I could dissolve its eyes and it’s brain after that.

But when it died somthing weird happened.

I lost as much mass as I lost in the fight against it before it died.

And no it didn’t just spit a lot of acid as it died.

Some of the parts I lost were behind the bugs head.

Anyway I think it obvious what I have to do now.

Time to find out how much bio mass somthing living gives me.

That seems quite simple.

I still can’t gain either of them.

I could gain the Ignisectum one by eating the rest of the corps.

But I don’t know what Ignisectum means.

Maybe it would allow me to spit acid like the beetle did.

Based on the level up bonuses Ignisectum seems to be focust on ATK and MAGI.

I think earth would be more defensive.

It might help me making a better base with Hime.

Now that I think about it I’m a Hive Mind what do I care for defense.

Me being what I am is one of the best defenses I can think of, I don’t care if one body dies.

So now all that’s left is to eat more of the Ignisectum as it is Apperently called or im wrong with that assumption.
