After school ends, Yang Guang takes his bike out of the bike shed and happily rides home on his bike, through the streets of Song City until he reaches the center of the city.

The streets of Song City is full of life, people are rushing from one place to another, laughing with their friends, the tourists are taking pictures and children are holding the hands of their parents while they cross the busy streets.

Yang Guang stops there for a second and looks at the people that are going about their daily lives, he sighs for a second and continues his journey home.

He then cycles into a neighborhood full with double story houses, people start to wave at him when they see him and he waves back at them.

When he reached his own house, he opens the front gate and places his bike, when he opens the door he sees the old man and Yu Chen laughing happily while holding a meat bun in their hands while watching a comedy show on TV.

"Why is he still here?" Yang Guang asked the old man while pointing at Yu Chen who is looking at him.

The old man laughs for a while before giving an answer. "Ha-ha that was really funny, oh yeah I forgot to tell you Yu Chen here is going to live with us for 6 months so the both of you get along well."

Yang Guang could not believe his ears when he heard what the old man just said to him, he takes a deep breath then walks to the kitchen and takes a bun when he bites into it he found out that it is only a normal steam bun, he just sighs and keeps on eating.

Just when Yang Guang was about to take his last bite of the steam bun his grandpa shouted at him. "OH yeah, I forgot, from today onwards Yu Chen will be following you hunting every night until he leaves."

Yang Guang almost spits out his steam bun from his mouth and then he looks at this grandpa in disbelieve, he then pointed at Yu Chen and said. "His too weak he will slow me down grandpa, do you know how many people will be hurt if he follows me?"

The old man suddenly throws out a punch at Yu Chen before Yu Chen notice the punch his arm guards the punch stopping it right in its tracks before it hits his face.

The old man laughs and pats Yu Chen on his back then he turns towards his grandson and said. "He is now as strong as a rank 3 how is that?"

Yang Guang suddenly dashes in front of Yu Chen and throws a punch towards his face but before the punch connect he pulls back his fist and said coldly. "When you see a rank 3 and above just leave the area and find your own prey."

Yang Guang then goes into the bathroom and takes a bath, while in the shower he thought to himself. "Maybe a rank 2 is still too much for him, might as well let him scout for me."

Yu Chen has a look of disbelief on his face as he thinks about Yang Guang punch just now, the old man notices his face and said. "Don't be sad if I was him I wouldn't let you even come close to a rank 2."

Yu Chen suddenly snaps out from his thought and asked the old man why that is so.

"You haven't adapted fully with your new found strength if you overestimate yourself you could die instantly, so tonight observe my shitty grandson every move and learn." the old man said seriously.

Yu Chen nodded and asked another question to the old man.

"You want to know how strong he is. if you are talking about his raw power he is as strong as a rank 7, but that is not that strong anyway I can beat the shit out of him anytime I want." the old man said casually.

Yu Chen starts to think about a way to gain that much strength but the old man drags him out from the house into the front part of the house.

"Yu Chen come here and spar with me for a while so I will know what is your weakness so I can help you improve them." the old man said casually, Yu Chen noodles and starts attacking.

Yu Chen starts with a simple punch and the old man dodges it quickly, all the sudden Yu Chen tries to head-butt the old man the old man catches Yu Chen's head and pulls it closer and gives him a light knock on the head.

The old man then pushes Yu Chen's head away sweep kicks him causing him to falls down, the old man then tries to stomp Yu Chen's head.

Yu Chen tries to cover his head but his arms are kicked away by the old man when Yu Chen thought that he was finished the old man pulls him up from the ground.

"What was that all about, do you even know how to fight?"

"The head-butt is a joke; your guard is a joke do you know how to react to the situation?"

"I'm starting to doubt should I let you hunt tonight, are you even serious?"

When Yu Chen heard all these comments from the old man his heart breaks into a thousand pieces he bows down and said sorry.

The old man sighs and said. "We have a long way to go."

The both of them continue their sparring in the front part of the house, the sounds of birds chirping and the winds blowing are accompanying their punches and kicks.

Yang Guang comes out from the bathroom and heads upstairs to his room, his room is quite spacious but that is due to the emptiness of his room Yang Guang room only has a bed a table and two picture one was with his family and the other one was only with his grandparents.

Yang Guang lies on the bed and starts to snooze off on his bed.

"Senior Yang Guang wake up it is dinner time." after a few hours Yu Chen comes knocking on Yang Guang's room, Yang Guang opens his eyes and wipes away his drool.

He opens his door and sees Yu Chen smiling at him, the both of them walks downstairs and into the kitchen.

Yang Guang and Yu Chen see the old man enjoying a steam bun on the table, Yang Guang walks to the table and takes a steam bun, and he looks at the old man and said. "Grandpa Steam buns again do you even know how to cook rice?"

The old man takes a steam bun and throws it a Yang Guang at high speed; Yang Guang quickly held his hand out and catches the steam bun that was flying in mid-air.

He then throws the steam bun back to the old man who also catches it.

The old man said to Yang Guang. "If you want to eat anything else than my cooking then go out and buy it yourself."

Yang Guang just ignores the old man and looks at the clock, the cartoonish clock on the wall shows that it was 6 in the evening.

After the trio has finished their meal the old man tells Yu Chen to have a nap after Yu Chen has left both of them the old man said. "What do you think of your new partner?"

Yang Guang coldly said. "He is not my partner." while searching for the TV remote control.

"Yeah you are right, he is better off as your junior." the old man said while looking at his grandson.

Yang Guang finally found the TV remote control and said. "He is also not my junior; I worked solo never a duo."

"What about your little friends that come and join you occasionally?" the old man asked curiously.

Yang Guang then gives the old man a weird look and said. "They can help me hunt; Yu Chen can help me endanger the city."

"But I remember that one of them struggles to fight a rank one." the old man said while laughing.

Yang Guang also laughs and said. "He can trap a rank 5 with a few simple tools, can Yu Chen do that?"

"What do you think about him?" the old man asked seriously.

Yang Guang shook his head and said. "He is still too weak, a base strength of a rank 3 might be good for normal hunters but he got no experience no skills to back that power up, maybe a weapon can help him."

The old man nodded his head in agreement and starts to think about what he can add to Yu Chen's arsenal, all the sudden he looks at the TV remote control and tries to take it.

Yang Guang has predicted that the old man will try to take the TV remote control from him and quickly protects the TV remote control.

Both of them started to fight for the remote control on the sofa, the both of them fight for a few minutes.

"Fine let us settle this like adults." the old man said seriously.

Yang Guang smirks and said. "You never ever beat me once remember?"

The two of them shouted in unison. "ROCK PAPER SCISSORS!"

Yang Guang laughs and keeps the TV remote control at his side, the old man sighs while thinking about his favorite TV game show with sexy young girls.

At about 11 o'clock Yu Chen wakes up from his nap when the old man calls him, he put on his hunter robes and walk downstairs.

He sees Yang Guang in his usual dark jacket and hat as the first night he saw him, drinking tea on the sofa.

The old ma shook his head and walks in front of Yu Chen and said. "This won't do." He then takes out a black jacket and tells Yu Chen to change.

When Yu Chen finishes changing he shows the old man and the old man nodded and said. "This is better in this you can run faster and not be easily notice by other people."

Yu Chen shook his head and said. "I can't I must wear the formal uniform for damn hunters set by the headquarters."

Yang Guang suddenly said. "This is Song City, not Gallant City the headquarters wouldn't care."

The old man nodded his head in agreement to confirm Yu Chen doubts.

The old man then looks at the clock and said. "It is time for you two to go."

Yang Guang left the house with Yu Chen and they start their first night together.
