Tonight Song City isn't bless with the light from the pale white moon hanging high in the night sky, but for the 2 hunters running around in the city under the cover of the shadows this is a blessing for the both of them who needs to hunt.

Yang Guang is the first person find a prey on the streets, a golden ant about 30 cm that looks like it was a cross between a lion and ant is crawling around finding a human to eat. The golden ant crawls until it reach the front door of a shop, when it wants to make a hole to go in and check for any signs of life Yang Guang suddenly appears behind it and claps its abdomen into a pile of mush, then he rips its jaws and use it to stab it the golden ant's head, killing it right there.

Yu Chen also finds his prey shortly after Yang Guang found his, this time it is a demonic chicken with four white beady eyes. Yu Chen did not waste another second and rush forward towards the chicken; he grabs the demonic chicken by the neck and starts chocking it, when he notices that chocking it did not deal much damage he starts slamming it into the ground repeatedly until its heads becomes a pile of mush and blood.

Yang Guang starts running from roof to roof while chasing a beaver that is running away from him, the beaver suddenly jumps down from the roof and use its gigantic tail like a helicopter and fly away from Yang Guang. Yang Guang summons his rattan pole and take aim at the fleeing beaver, with a quick throw the rattan pole pierce through the beaver's head making a hole on its forehead.

Yu Chen now at the river running through Song City looking for any signs of damn creatures, suddenly he notices a black figure swimming in the river. He brace himself and take a dive into the ice cold river and swims after the figure, he finally catch up to the black figure and sees that it was a tortoise. The tortoise color is a shade of black call midnight back, due to that Yu Chen did not notice that there is another head coming growing in front of the tortoise trying to bite his hand. Yu Chen narrowly dodges it and uses his full strength to throw the twin head tortoise onto the riverbank, he then pulls both of the tortoise head out of its shell and smash it with his fist.

Yang Guang now is being chase down the streets by a green yak with sparks of electricity around its body, he then said to himself how unlucky of him to meet a rank 6 with an lightning element. The green Yak looks at Yang Guang with a greedy look on its face, the green yak decided open its mouth and shots a green ball of electricity at Yang Guang. Yang Guang duck down and dodges the green electric ball, he then summons his rattan pole and slide towards the green yak's legs and hits them with all he got, breaking the green yak's bone. Yang Guang then smirks at the green yak and strike its skull breaking it in half.

Yu Chen walks by a sewage cap; suddenly the sewage cap starts to move as if something is underneath pushing it upwards. An orange fire slug jumps out the sewers and tries to gobble Yu Chen up, Yu Chen kicks the slug on the head, instead of hurting the orange fire slug he burns his feet in the process. The orange fire slug smirks and burps a poisonous gas at Yu Chen, Yu Chen hold his breath and rushes into the poisonous gas. The orange fire slug thinks that it has kill Yu Chen, but little does it know Yu Chen jumps out form the cloud of gas and punches it repeatedly without caring about the burning pain until it dies.

Yang Guang then walks to the convenient store and buys a can of cola, when he walks out he sees few men sneaking around the area. He quietly follows the group of men to see what they are up too, the sounds of glass being smash and alarms can be heard from afar. Yang Guang sighs to himself and walks towards them; while the group of men is busy stealing jewelry Yang Guang just stands there and watches them work. One of the men notices a shadow behind them and sees Yang Guang; he pulls out a gun and aims at Yang Guang. But before he can pull the trigger he was knock out cold by a rattan pole that was flying towards him, Yang Guang then make short work of the group, beating each of them until they rather die and disappear into the night.

Yu Chen is now chasing after a white cat with a star symbol on its forehead, he chase the white cat into a dead end forcing the white cat to stop. He grabs the white cat by the neck and breaks its leg, to defend itself the white cat paws shot out a beam and hits Yu Chen's face causing him to fall down.

"What is that?"

A man about 20 years looks at where Yu Chen falls; he walks closer to check it out when suddenly he hears the sound of a can hitting a wall. The man turns around and sees Yang Guang kicking the empty cola can around the street, using that window of opportunity Yu Chen finish off the white cat while the man left.

Yu Chen stands back up and sees Yang Guang walking away into the darkness, he then thinks what will happen if Yang Guang did not show up just now and helped him.

Yang Guang then start chasing after a pigeon with a pair of large rainbow wings around the city, when Yang Guang finally catch up and kills the rainbow pigeon.

"Who are you?"

Those 3 words are something that every hunter doesn’t wants to hear but tonight Yang Guang hears it.

Only now does Yang Guang notice that he has been running on the roof of other peoples house, the little boy looks at Yang Guang and asks the same question again thinking that Yang Guang didn't heard him the first time.

Yang Guang slowly turns his head around with an awkward smile on his face, his brain is thinking of every idea that he can use to explain himself.

He sees a little boy looking at him from his window which is just beside Yang Guang, Yang Guang gives out an awkward laugh and asks. "Why aren't you sleeping?"

"You wake me up." the little boy replies with a smile on his face.

Yang Guang finally thinks of an idea, he pulls the little boy closer and whisper into his ear. "I'm Santa Claus, if you don't go back and sleep there will be no presents for you."

"But it isn't Christmas yet." the little boy replies Yang Guang with the same smile.

Yang Guang sighs in his heart and whispers into the little boy's ear. "I'm actually Santa Claus's grandson and I'm here to see if you are being good or not."

"Then why aren't you wearing red?' the little boy replies once more with his smile.

Finally Yang Guang hits a dead end; he looks at the little boy's smile which starts to look more and more sinister.

Across the street Yu Chen is looking at Yang Guang who is now scratching his head to think of something to tell the little boy.

He then notice the smile on the little boy's face, then he realize why did Yang Guang not feel sadness, anger or disappointed when that man in the alleyway died.

~Things like this happen; life must go on no matter who died. ~

He then remembers that was what Yang Guang said to him yesterday, he remembers the faces of the citizens of Song City when he was out shopping today.

He then hands a piece of candy that he takes out from his pocket to the little boy and say. "Remember to be good."

The both of them then left when the little boy finally falls asleep.

"Senior Yang Guang I'm sorry for everything." Yu Chen says to Yang Guang while walking beside him.

Yang Guang smiles at Yu Chen and say. "I did slap you 10 times yesterday so we are even."

The 2 of them then continue their hunt together as a duo in Song City.
