《Harmony: An Assassins Tale》Chapter 51: Arrival

"Skiean! We have recieved knowledge that the demons are arriving shortly! In around 1 hour they will be in the perimeter of our cannons. What do we do?" and Skiean didn't react at first, then I nudged at her. "Yo. You still there?" I said, and she shook her head, shifting her gaze towards me, "Oh, nothing, nothing. Do nothing Nium, not now atleast, we should trust in Johnny and his plan." and she seemed to have a headache, because after that she ran into her room. Mikasa then peeked her head out once again. "Hey. This time, can I do a bit of fighting? I feel like I'm becoming rusty," and I allowed her, but asked her to not forget our deal. "Hey! Of course, I won't forget it." and then she went back in it.
For her, I decided to put my rift-hole in my pocket, so that she would feel relatively safe. I then stood next to Nium, watching the entire space being rebuilt, being changed. It was purely amazing, something you would never be able to see in Earth, atleast for the next few years.I saw the building collapse, and I was worried. "Nium, what happened? I'm sure I didn't make a mistake in the coding." and he looked at me, with a smile. "That's what always happens when you update it, right now it went down to save everything, so in case of a power outage , it can continuously run, without there being a problem." and I understood now, it was a good idea, and was safe too. It was almost completed, when Hui jumped into the control room, and screamed my name.
"Johnny! Johnny! Johnny! Come quick! Something is wrong with Onee~San!" I then instantly chased after Hui, I didn't want someone within my team be harmed. I then went into the room, and looked at Hazen, who didn't spend a second to look at me, he just looked at Juni, and said, "She's sick, very sick, what should we do? You're the smart one here." and then Skiean came in. "Okay, so how are you gu... wait what happened?" and I explained it to her briefly. "She seemed to have caught a sickness due to not being used to The Void, or something to do with the atmosphere here, even Hui is starting to get sick," which was true , as I saw her cough many times, and she also had flushed cheeks.
Skiean then dropped the snacks she brought, but I managed to pick it up before it fell. She then went to Juni's side, opposite of Hazen, and asked everyone to leave the room, as she only needed 5 minutes. We all quietly obliged, and sat outside eagerly. She then opened the door, and had both good news and bad news. "Well, she's fine right now, but because of the atmopshere here, it doesn't favor harpys, especially at that age. So, she'll be fine, she wouldn't die or anything like that, but she is crippled, both of her legs, for a while. It may return back to normal state in a year or so. Hui, the same thing will happen to you, but I'm not sure what would be crippled, so take this medicine, it'll slow down the process of you being Dimension-Poisoned, but even with that, you might be in the same situation within a week, so please leave after helping us." and I looked down, and then forced a smile, and said, "Okay!" but Hazen wasn't fine with this at all.

He grabbed me by the collar, and shoved me into the wall, destroying it. "What the hell is wrong with you! This is all your fault, all your fault my precious is like this, ALL OF YOUR FAULT!" and then he let me go, scoffed, and walked away. I tried to chase after him, trying to tell him I'm sorry, and that I didn't mean it to be like that, but he didn't listen to reason, he then slammed the door of the room, locked it, and stayed inside with Juni. "Well, I know it wasn't your fault, Johnny, but still, it may be your fault, indirectly," Hui said, and she too, walked away. Everything was falling apart right now, and I couldn't handle the pressure. Skiean then reassured me, "Don't worry, we are still here with you, they will find the time to forgive you, but not now, of course." I then felt a bit relieved, but I didn't want to see my team breaking down, especially at such a moment.
Nium then popped his head into the room and said 3 words. "They have arrived." and I , along with Skiean ran towards the control room. There I monitored them, and Skiean was with me. I asked Nium to start getting the bots ready, and to evacuate the towns people, and also, to gather an army of atleast 1,000 armies. He complied with my wishes, and then left the control room, to do what I asked him to do.
As I watched the camera's , it seemed like they had gathered a small army, because this was almost directly after the Heaven attack, so of course there force would be weakened. But , behind the thousands of people standing, I could see atleast double of that number lieing down, and I knew what they were planning to do. The first 10,000 or so will be considered as bait, and once they understand the security , they will send those who just revived back. "Skiean, you see those people back there? Now, that is going to be a problem, so while you watch them, I'll write a new set of coding, and when there first burst of people are all gone, we will setup the new one. Me , you and Hazen will be defending while we wait for it to be built, okay?" and she agreed, knowing it was the right course to take.
After that, I spent all my time directed onto the computer screen, writing characters in mere seconds, the only time-consuming part was how to remake it so that it would do everything I hoped it to do. "Hey, hey, Johnny, we have a problem here, come look." and I stopped coding, slid my chair, and looked at the video footage, and I knew what was wrong. First off, although they all went into the respective positions, when they were all about to split, Trinity looked directly at the camera, although it was only 5 milimeters in diameter, and with the precision of a hawk, destroyed it, with a needle. I knew this was going to happen, but what made me amazed, was that she knocked out all 5 cameras in that room, which rendered it a pure blind spot. Thankfully, Jennifer didn't think that much through, and fell for the plan just as it was supposed to happen. "Well, that's one down, I guess," after that, the side Trinity and Michael had went, she too, destroyed the cameras there, and although it seemed like she asked the others to destroy the cameras, they didn't do that. Raizel managed to dodge it, and so, he got a chance to attack directly. "Kch! I didn't think this much through, damn, that Trinity, she is a smart one. But no problems, I coded a second layer of defense just to be sure," and Raizel fell for the 2nd one.

Nium then came back to the room, started panting and said, "We have a bit of a problem, there is a breach, on the West side.It is led by a woman and a child, your orders, Skiean?" and she nodded her head a bit. "Mhmm, hmm, that is just what Johnny had thought, so we made preparations just in case, Send the bots and atleast 500 men there, I'll send Hazen to go support you guys." and he obliged. "Man, aren't you a bit to harsh on Nium?" and she sighed. "Well, I don't want to do it, but he is the one who always says he wants to be of use to me, I don't know why though." and I then shifted my gaze back to the computer screen, and continuously typed in coding. I had a feeling that the Trinity,Michael,Raizel, and Jennifer we see aren't them actually, and that it is either old footage, or Iansis, but that would mean Raizel must be real, because Trinity is weaker then him.
Hazen then came bursting into the room. "I heard there is a breach! Where is Juni, or Hui?" he said, worried. "Don't worry, they are safe in my ... ... ... office ... wait where are they?" and that made Hazen panicked. I then told him to stay here, while I find them, but he didn't listen, so he came with me. I then called out Yagrik, and made 200 clones of myself, all with only a small strip of idea in there head: Find Hui and Juni, and bring them to the control room . They then all ran in different directions, some crashing themselves into the wall. I sighed. "Should have made them a bit more smart," but it was to late , at this point. I had atleast half of Yagrk left, so I went to help Nium, and asked Hazen if he'll help us. "No, let me first find Juni, then I'll help you. Oh, and sorry about earlier, I was frustrated."
I then left to go towards the West gate, where I saw Nium and his party being pushed back. "Well, Mikasa, I guess you can play a bit now." and I let her go, and she flowed out of my rift, beautifully. She was wearing a camo suit, with a helmet, like some sort of army woman. She then stretched herself, and said, "Ahhh, demon atmosphere, I haven't felt this in a while, it feels great!" and then she left to go towards the western gate, and as I suspected, the Trinity and Michael there were pure clones, as Mikasa easily destroyed them. When she got there, she started sending orders to the bots and people, and they all came together, organized, and managed to push them back, which was something nice.
I then felt something push the back of my skin, something I've felt many times before, and Yagrik wasn't thick enough to protect me. "Oops, it seemed like I may have poked your skin too, well, it feels good anyways," it was Jennifer. That made me realize too, that the person who fell was her clone, and that she too, breached the Eastern gate, but was well hidden, that she didn't get caught at all. "Heh, I wasn't careful, good job, Jennifer Gratenheim, it has been a while, hasn't it?" and I fell, flat on the ground. I was fully conscious though, I was just acting infront of her, so that she would feel like she did something to me, but in reality, the wound was healing at an alarming rate, and it is almost fully healed by now. I guess I got some time to play, as well.
