《Harmony: An Assassins Tale》Chapter 62: The Dimension Of Lost Souls.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, in utter surprise. Lily shrugged. "I couldn't sleep, mind if I sleep here?" The red aura around her turned dim, and a blue aura was all around her. Strange, I thought. I nodded, and made myself a small mattress with Yagrik and slept on it, while Lily had the bed. "You know, I've been thinking. Why are we even here? Why were we born? What is our purpose? Don't answer my questions, just think about. Why, just why, why is the world as it is? Why is war always happening, why do people kill eachother, in order to gain power? Why, just why, don't people solve their issues with words, rather than weapons and bloodshed? It's always amazed me, like Raizel for example, he only thinks with his sword, he doesn't ever resort to words, he's always just like, death. Death. Death. Why is it like this? You have any idea?"
I was surprised at first that she mentioned the name Raizel. "How do y-" . "Nothing, I said to much, good night." She dozed off, and I could hear a light snore from her. It was cute. For the rest of the night, I thought about what she said, especially about how she knew about Raizel, it intrigued me.
Three days passed, and we were about to enter the System of this Dimension, but it was much different than the other ones. "The 'Buses' don't have an actual route here, so you'll go by foot, or, by floating." He paused to laugh at his 'joke'. It was silence, an awkward silence. "Pfft, you're all boring."
"Anyways, when you get sucked into the dimensional vortex, all of you must be close to eachother, and create some sort of bubble to protect you, or the force of getting thrown into a different dimension is enough to shred you into nothingness, and then you'll fade into the vast universe. Good luck!" With that he booted all of us out. We didn't even have the time to curse at him. He was laughing as we floated into utter nothingness.
I was about to summon Yagrik, but then I realized we didn't need it yet. We were all wearing very thin suits which had the same strength and use as those heavy space suits, but these are just easier on the body. I used Yagrik as a booster, and after moving at around a velocity of 10 meters a second, I stopped boosting, and boosted the rest. We then gathered near the dimensional vortex, and seconds before we went into it, with the help of Yagrik, I pulled us all together and made a dense bubble around us, using the same material we had in the Cyrogenic Dimension. The vortex was different than I imagined. It had lines all around it, like we were in a wormhole, and it seemed to go on for eternity. My body yearned to leave the protective shell and venture into the vortex, but I controlled my self, and closed my eyes, as we rode our way to The Dimension Of Lost Souls.

About an hour passed, until we were violently spat out of this vortex, and we were accumulating alot of velocity. I tried to slow us down, so that the impact wouldn't be so harsh, and Kuiy helped, with his Soul Emifer, which I haven't saw yet. "Kuiy, what exactly is your Soul Emifer?" He smiled. "Thats a secret." With that we managed to land safely onto land. It wasn't the safe you would guess. The Sphere tumbled and we went atleast a hundred meters deep before we finally reached 0 velocity. As I put Yagrik back into my rift, my head span. "That was quite a journey."
I smiled, and they grinned back. "Now, where do you think this disturbance could be?" Jennifer asked. I shrugged, and decided to first see what supplies we had. "Well, it seems like I guess we have no food, or water at that matter. Since I'm going to assume you are feeling as hungry as I am, I'll make us some quick rations." I turned Yagrik into some nutrition bars, and gave one to everyone. "Oh yeah, when you are going to use the bathroom, tell me, because I have to turn the waste back into Yagrik, but it'll lose the minerals, so it's size will decrease a bit." When I told them that, it seemed like all of them stopped eating, and gave it back to me. "Oh come on!" Kuiy started laughing, and then he took two of the half eaten ones and gobbled them up.
"I really don't care, okay lets go. I'll look for food, you guys find the disturbance we were sent for. Johnny, here is a communicator I made in my spare time. When either of us are done, we'll use it to talk and track eachother's location. Okay?" I gave him a thumbs up, and after that he ran into the jungle, and his presence vanished. "Well, he's like a ninja, isn't he?" I still felt a little awkward around Lily, ever since that day. She nudged my shoulder, and whispered something in my ear. With those few words she said. I dropped.
"So, it was you? It was you, all along? Why? Why? How did you do it? I don't understand." Lily giggled, and skipped along. "You'll see soon, J...o...h...n..n..y." She said, saying each letter with a pause. Now it was only Jennifer and I still at the landing grounds. I turned pale, and thought about it for a while. "Johnny! Johnny! Johnny!" It was Jennifer. Soon I returned back. "How long was I out?" She took out three fingers, so I assumed three hours. "No, three days." I was surprised, that I was gone for that long.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It's just that, I was surprised." She patted me on the back. "It's okay, now, let's go, Johnny." I put a big face, and walked into the Jungle. I assumed Kuiy came with food, because Jennifer had a bag full of different things. "Did Lily come back?" Jennifer didn't say anything. After a while I heard a voice.

Wellington Sama
Oh Wellington Sama
You've returned Wellington Sama
Why didn't you come sooner Wellington Sama?
Why did you leave us?
We were lonely.
Oh so lonely.
Wellington Sama, oh Wellington Sama
Come back to us,
Come back to the world,
Ditch this human body, he isn't worth you.
Come to us, Wellington Sama.
My mind was flooded with these words, and I had an intense headache. It seemed like Jennifer also heard these words, because she fell too. "Wh...who is Wellington Sama?" I didn't want to tell her about the voice I heard, so I said I didn't know. "Maybe, your father? I mean, who else?" I said that it wasn't possible. He couldn't be like this, it's definitely someone else. The voices wouldn't end, they were all talking about Wellington, who I'm assuming is the voice in my head. This is what Hazen probably meant by "Lost Souls" . Soon, the words changed.
Oh Jennifer what happened?
Why did you leave mother?
Why did you run away?
Why, why are you like this?
Where is my daughter who drank blood as water
The daughter who loved bloodshed.
What have you done?
What have you done to my daughter?
Why?
What are you?
Why Jennifer, why, why did you kill my daughter for this... this... blob of kindness.
I want your dark heart, come back to mother.
The ghost came into view, and made a hug like gesture, but Jennifer summoned Yartsdra and stabbed the ghost, which wasn't there. It simply faded, but it seemed to haunt her. "Shut up! Shut up! I don't want to here that name again! Don't ever... ever... mention that she-devil!" She kept on screaming, so I embraced her. "It's okay Jennifer, it's okay, it's just a fragment of our memory, do not turn from it, here, I'll help." I covered her ears with my hands, and we continued to walk.
When I heard more voices, coming from more directions, I assumed I was coming closer to where we were supposed to go to. As I headed into a clearing, it was barren. All the lush green was on blackish color, like it was burnt. At the epicenter of this burnt circle, there was a man made building standing tall, about 100 meters, and from the top, I could feel an ominous presence. "That's probably what is making all the 'ghosts', But I don't think we should att....... ..... .... ..... ...ack it." I said, pausing as Jennifer whipped out Yartsdra and tryed to break the building. A strong forcefield repelled it, and sent it back at twice the force. "Gah," Was all she said, as she continued to try and break it. "J...e...n...nifer.... s..s...s...stop..." I said, and grabbed her wrist. "You'll just get hurt by the repelling force, stop it, before you injure yourself."
She turned red, and stopped. "S..sorry." After that, she stood behind me. I look at the barrier, and threw a rock at it, just to test it. As I thought, it simply repelled it. "It seems like a simply mirror, to probably fend off his.. or her own creation. I can easily dismantle it." I looked at it, and starting using the force of Mei to break it down into its components. "Oh, a simple spell with a complicated form, what an interesting one." I said, as I looked deeper into it, and with the help of Unis to make a magnifying pair of spectacles. "Aur, Aie, Buy, Kui, Juu, even Mah. I wonder who could combine such aspects into this form. It was truly worth it spending that time with Mikasa learning these things." I flashed back to when I was learning how to copy Soul Emifers.
"No no Johnny, it won't work like that, you have to break it into its aspects. Yartsdra was a simple one, but others are a bit more complicated. I'm sure with Unis there is some sort of pair of glasses. With that you should be able to see the different types of aspects, I'll lend you this book, with my notes as well as my ancestors notes on the components of ME. You see, Mind Emifer was simply considered as Mei, the life blood of this world. Everything has Mei, but some can use Mei, and even a less can use magic. Magic and Mei are different. Mei comes from the body, kind of like a Soul Emifer, and is also limited by the body. Magic however, uses nothing more than the mind. The more intellegent the better 'Magician' . When you try to make a magic spell, it's broken into components we call as Aspects. So far, over a thousand different aspects are discovered, and you have to remember all of them, in order to become stronger. Now, you may begin."
I spent months on it, until I managed a state in becoming a novice. Even now, I would suppose I'm Intermediate in using magic, not even close to being a master. After about an hour, I broke the layer. "Okay, seems good." I threw a rock again, but It was deflected again, but around 0.1x weaker. "Oh god, it seems like there are multiple layers. I'll be on it for awhile. Jennifer get some sleep." She nodded, and I made her a makeshift bed. With that, she took a power nap, while I sat deciphering the code. "I can decipher this, but I probably can't make it. I'm far behind. I should stop relying on Yagrik, and become better with ME. That's it. I'll promise myself, after Jennifer wakes up, I'll 'seal' my rift." With that, I sighed, and continued working on this wall, only assuming what possibly could happen.
