Here is chapter 2 i hope you enjoy
----------------------------------------------------------
"I'm sorry but i can't. It is not that i will not , i just can't.I lack the power to do so.">Lorelion
I looked at him baffled by the answer.Well it was just as i guessed it would be but hearing it made something inside me prick with a bit of pain.I decided to keep calm and ask him
"I thought so.Are you going to tell me why you lack the power to do so?">Me
Looking at him he became fidgety and nervous before looking me in the eyes.
"I am too inexperienced and weak among the gods.I lacked the knowledge for a summoning ritual. For a champion like the other gods so instead i tried to take the soul of the person who fits my requirements and make his body from scratch. I thought it would be easier but now i know why the other gods don't use this method. Since your soul took most of my power and the same amount or even greater is needed in order to return you.So again i am sorry.">Lorelion
"So i'm stuck here with you eh? Why cant you use your followers and need a Champion? i'm no champion,i sit around and do nothing productive the whole day.Cant you use one of your followers or all of them,i mean come on there got to be a few thousand of them right">Me
He looked meek as he weakly responded
"...i...t..haf..mn.y.f....sh">Lorelion
I looked at him with a serious look and asked again
"Right?">Me
He became nervous and talked a bit louder with ashamed look on his face.
"I don't have many followers.">Lorelion
With curiosity i asked.
"How many?Gotta be at least a city"He shook his head in denial"A small town?"he shook it again and with a bit of uncertainty i asked "A village?"This time he was silent so took it as a heartbreaking no"Please tell me its at least a cult!!">Me
He stood there silent and looked at the metaphorical floor(we are technically floating in a white space you know)and as he slowly opened his mount and said quietly
"Two or tree dozen. But most of them are powerful wizards you know">Lorelion
He said the second part with a bit of hope and pride.I felt a bit sorry for him,but i had to ask.
"If you have 30 or so powerful wizards why should you need me?">Me
With a bit of disappointment and grief he simply answered.
"None of them know that they worship me.they do it indirectly through their research and pursuit of knowledge and most of them are hermits and shut ins i doubt they will help me even if i asked to.">Lorelion

"Thats odd. Aren't gods born from the need of something to believe in?Or at least thats the general idea from the books in my world. With so many followers how do you even exist? From what i understood you are from a world with magic, from the whole wizard thing so you lot should be interacting quite closely with your followers. People invent stuff in order to have more time to lazy around and with magic that puts science on the slow side so how come you were created in a world where evolution is something so abstract?">Me
With my questions one after the other he seemed to calm down bit by bit and become more opened,i guess that will help with the questions i'm asking him.As he was about to answer a look of yearning and grief covered his face.
"Because of my mother. She is the goddess of nature Irilia. As evolution is technically...was part of her domain it was dormant because nobody understood it.The moment sufficient belief was accumulated the part that was her understanding and knowledge became me. As i was born i also took some of her power, thats why i could take your soul from the river of life.">Lorelion
"So what do you need a champion for i doubt you have to defend your followers , as they sound pretty hard to find and damn good at defending
themselves?">Me
"I needed some one to help me with the battle of the champions. Its basically a world wide tournament of the other gods champions
to settle disputes and the like. But now everything failed and i'm stuck with you!">Lorelion
Watching him pout made me feel guilty for some reason.
"So you made a mistake and were both stuck with each other!! Huhggggg..............."I breathed out heavily while thinking
"So this sounds a bit entertaining."I said a bit cheerfully, better make the best of a bad situation."Gods, magic and a world to
explore i guess we better get started then">Me
He looked at me with a bit of surprise and anger.
"We?I told you i need Darwin to help me with it, because from what i can tell he is the person who first discovered evolution in your world besides i don't know anything about you. And why would you help me anyway?">Lorelion
"Your slow for a god aren't you?immature too, well you do look like a brat, cute kid but still a brat. Two reasons. First we are stuck with each other i can sit here and hope one day you gain enough power to send me back or i can do something about it. Second every person who graduated high school with two brain cells to rub together and a bit of creativity will fit you needs">Me
Advertisement
"How does that fit my needs i need someone with the will to grow stronger and overcome great difficulties , someone brilliant who can spread the knowledge of evolution and someone with loyalty. From what i can see you are crude and rude">Lorelion
"The way i see it you will become a nobody and will be stuck in this white abyss. And my intelligence was above average
even without me training, cuz i had no reason to when my put my mind to something i''m usually quite tenacious. And if you want an example i was able to score second place on the season tournament of my favorite strategy game with just a month of training and thats a lot considering it is almost a sport worldwide and an actual sport in some countries. And i'm quite good in the creative department!!">Me
"And how do you plan on increasing my followers and what good it will do your creativity and what i understand as your strategic mind?"-Lorelion
By this point we were arguing like little kids.
"Thats why i said you are immature, you don't even know how awesome the power of your domain is and you'r supposed to be a kid, yet you lack the basic imagination of a four year old, and my life was fucking boring and you piqued. So I WANT to help you and i never helped anyone before in a
similar manner so are you going to let me help you or are going to go and cry in your mama's lap before she kick you out of haven herself
because thats what i would do in her place."-Me
At the end of my rant he was sitting crossleged with his head down and an eerie aura of silence around him
"..............."-Lorelion
Deciding to bread the silence i asked.
"What?.. if you want to say something say it. I forgot my telepathy in my other soul"-Me
As i was about to say something he asked meekly.
"Do you promise?"-Lorelion
A asked a bit stupefied by the sudden one-eithy of his mood
"Wut?"-Me
"Do you promise to help me?Even if you don't know what it is about?"-Lorelion
Following the mood i guessed where this is going and simply replied with heavy sarcasm.
"I do.I promise to help you with the battle of the champions gods and whatnot. Its not like I'll have to fight all the champions of all gods"
He looked at me with a look filed with hope and asked a question.
"So what was your name we never got to it"-Lorelion
"Now that you mention it i don't remember.Lets go with something creative and refreshing for a new start. How about Eziol"-Me
He turned serious and the godly aura returned to him demanding respect and worship but somehow i couldn't connect it to the little kid who so sincerely asked me for help.I know he is a god and probably older than me by at lest a century but to me he is still an immature brat and no godlike aura will make me view him differently. I guess taking care for my sister in my previous life rubbed on me in a good way. As i was thinking where to find a book "how to raise gods for dummies" he look at me and asked.
"Eziol do you pledge to become my champion to fight for my honor and to fight my enemies,to spread my word to the world and to defend those
who follow it?"-Lorelion
A pledge huh? I guess i better be careful what i say or my free will will be bound but from what i sew he shouldn't know that. I guess someone taught him.Magic and pledges don't mix well for idiots.Think about all the stories about demons and their summoners the demons exploit every weakens of the contract , and if my gut feeling is right ill need as much freedom as possible in order to help this brat , and i don't want him to stop me from doing things for his own good , you really gotta wonder what his parents teachers or whatever was in charge of the education of the gods was thinking. After thinking for a while i answered with as much pride and dignity as i could muster.
"I Eziol do pledge to serve Lorelion the god of evolution as his champion to strike down those who i deem his enemies and sully your honor
to spread your word in my own way and to defend those under you protection if need be!"-Eziol
With a stern voice he said
"Rise my champion"-Lorelion

I'm just an 'Ordinary' Human (MCU fanfic)
A guy gets hit by a truck and sent to a fantasy world with less power than your average peasant. (Un)fortunately, he discovered his secret power of Immortality at the hands of the current destroy-the-world inclined Demon Lord and becomes experimental subject #1. After hundreds of years, the Demon Lord is killed and the job of destruction was handed to him. Being not terribly favorably inclined to this fantasy world, he wreaks havoc on the world... Killing sacred beasts, massacring cities with an army of undead, headhunting servants of God, plaguing a whole continent with a deadly virus. But he was still unsatisfied.During an experiment, he accidentally killed himself trying to open a gateway to a new world. And wakes up from his coma in his original world. Except, it isn't his world, exactly. Now there is a man in a metal suit, a 90-years old buff dude with a shield, a muscle head demi-god and other weirdos who formed a team called the ‘Avengers’. None of that matters though, because he is so over all that drama. This life is going to be carefree. Or at least, that's the plan. Note: The 4th wall is thin on this one, so the MC often breaks it.
