This lion is several times larger than its ordinary cousin, and he has been crowned with a nest of snakes for a mane. The snakes are said to hiss when the lion roars. They constantly move around the lion's head, eager to strike at anything that draws near enough to its host. Even if the lion body dies, the snakes will keep moving as part of its corpse until they slowly wither way.
