《Celestial Beings: Evolution》Stage 1: Midget II (Chapter 10)

[Instrument has been unlocked]
[You are now Celestial Calipso Instrument]
I didn't know whether to feel panicked, or relieved that I'm now an Instrument. I looked over to her and I really didn't know what to say.
"Okay" Calipso said with a smile. "Your stat window is almost perfect, it's a shame you have two stats in Endurance and not one, but it's okay." She stated whilst observing.
"Uh, how can you see my Stat Window?" I stated in confusion.
"You're my Instrument, I can see your Stat Window whenever I want to, okay anyways enough chit chat".
Calipso clapped her hands together and we ended up in a forest, however none of the trees had any branches or leaves, they just looked like poles. Also I felt so distorted, I almost puked.
"When you Level up to Level 11, put everything into Wisdom to get to 25, then you'll be able to use Mana. It is completely vital that you do not use [Mana Sense] without me. You'll probably mess it up like your friend". Calipso started laughing to herself, mocking Eloxus.
"How did he mess it up? He ended up with quite a strong power I believe". Again, I was confused. Calipso was pretty clear in the way she spoke, but I had to ask her to explain more things as this world is completely new.
"He didn't let the droplets come to him, which would usually be fine, however he never used [Mana Sense] in combat, only sat down. This is a terrible way of doing it as you'll have a hard time adapting to your magic, usually you would spar with someone whilst using [Mana Sense], and when you got to around half completion, you'll be given information about what skill you're going to get, and sometimes if you're lucky it can transform into it's next level. An example being, if you end up with Water Magic, it is possible for Holy Power to be attached to it when you complete it, however that is only if you're compatible. If your friend used [Mana Sense] whilst killing Monsters, he may have had access to Illusion Magic ontop of Puppeteering".

I understood the principle of it, but doesn't that mean Eloxus royally messed up? Like completely? I better not tell him this, since I think he has a short temper.
"Anyways enough of that, your Species Skill [Propel] is actually very good. For now you'll practice here until you get used to it, and I expect it to be levelled up a few times. You can Level up skills by obviously using the skill, however, experiment with the skill, this may shoot the level up if you find a completely new way to use the skill. For now, I'm not going to intefere. There are [Venomous Snakes] all around in this forest, I expect atleast 10 of them to die. Unfortunately, in here you will not gain Experience Points since this is a space I created".
"Calipso, I can't stay here long. Eloxus may be worrying about me".
"That's fine. 10 hours in here is only 10 minutes in the real world, you won't miss anything since the higherups will shout at me for missing an important event". Calipso grunted as she mentioned higherups.
"Event?" I was starstruck.
"You'll learn about it later, goodbye for now, I'll see you in 10 hours".
Aly stared for for a minute, confused. She didn't know what just happened, all she knew is that she has to train.
She tried jumping, and only just realised that now she is an actual species, she jumps quite high, around a2 meter, which is very high in comparison to a normal person jumping. She wasn't sure if it was her agility, or the fact that her species excels in high speeds. She didn't contemplate it too much and as she jumped, she crouched her legs onto the tree, and said [Propel]. It looked like she was flying, she went as such a high speed, and then crashed into another tree. She was in pain, although she was fine.

She had never used a skill other than [Search], so she was confused on how it worked, but eventually after a few more tries, she was able to use [Propel] without saying the word.
Aly got the hang of it quite fast. She was able to propel from a tree, to another quite frequently.
[Propel] - Beginner Level One -> [Propel] - Beginner Level Three
She looked at the systems notification and she was content with the results. She then saw a [Venomous Snake], and readied her dagger. WIthout Eloxus and Tep, she thought it'd be difficult, however she thought of something.
She propelled off a tree like she normally would, however this time readied her daggers infront of her, like she had claws.
bam
She completely beheaded the snake. In one swoop.
She was ecstatic, with this new found power she can hold her own despite being a oneshot kill, although that is if she ever got caught. [Propel] can be used both defensively and offensively, it was a good skill for quick assissations, and it could be used for initiating a fight, aswell as for running away due to it's high speed.
Aly continued this for the whole of the ten hours. The results were shocking. She ended up killing 38 [Venomous Snakes], aswell as getting [Propel] to Level 8 (Beginner).

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have. In the world of Masks and Capes
The DC universe has been trampled time and time again. Although certainties have been fixed, there would be one to settle the raging sea of chaos and bring balance. To introduce the raging drunken idiot of the former clan, into the world of Heroes and Villains. (A bit of a mix over along with some things, but mostly on DC) (Please note, MC is intentionally written as an idiot. Dumb decisions will be exaggerated...)

Tale of the mage hero [Completed]
so I've been into rising of the shield hero for a while now... a lot of things about it ALWAYS bugged me starting with the fact that the world functions like a game and the heroes are supposed to fight together in a party.... BUT WHERE'S THE ARCHMAGE?! THE BLATANT DISRESPECT TO THE MAGE CLASS IS REAL AND ANGERING! so I decided as a gamer who rather enjoys being a mage and healer, I'd rectify that. and other things. for all intents and purposes this is a self insert but I will be using my proxy OC that I use in my nutty fangirl daydreams. DON'T WORRY! I'M NERFING MY PROXY! this will follow the plot of the anime because..... I want to. and I'm..... LAZY~! and using the manga is too much trouble and the light novel is 800+ chapters long. So FUCK THAT! anyways if you read this and think it's lackluster then I want to see you try your hand at writing tate no yuusha fics! no that's not a challenge or insult it's just a desperate plea for more tate fics... we need some more variety! Alright I'm gonna be honest here. This story is laughably bad. So read at your own risk. The only reason I'm not revising it is because 1 I'm Lazy as fuck and 2 to serve as a lesson on what NOT to do for new writers. So like I said, read at your own risk.
